The genesis of this killing in the north can be traced to the very introduction of sharia in various northern states starting with zamfara. If anybody should be held responsible for the bloodletting in the north, it is the former governor of zamfara (ahmed whatever). He probably thought he was doing his religion a big favor, i bet he smiles when he sees gruesome pictures of nigerians slaughtered like ram. Introduction of sharia was like issuing teh northern almajari thugs the licence to kill.

Hmmmm, im wondering, i think the guy is only speaking the general opinion of a lot of men about what they think about women. I think he is brave enough to have at least said this. Obviously, he must have been hurt by a true love, so to speak. It has come to my attention that ladies on nairaland dont usually attack men like guys always do. I am surprise nobody seems to own up to the fact that fees charged 4 traffic violation in lagos is part of LASG effort to generate internal revenue. The big question is does islam preach forgiveness? If it does, why is beheading, decaputation and all sorts of in-human practice practiced even in the holy mecca(saudi arabia). This place is suppose to represent the entire muslim world. Muslims see god as a superior being who is non forgiven and out to punish sinners. If god was so, no human on earth born of a woman desrves to live. The root cause is not far-fetched. I overheard a discussion by an alhaja one day.In her words, While on his first trip to mecca in the 70s, immediately after friday prayer, the crowd gathered around. A boy of about 18 years, of somali origin was nabbed for stealing in a market. Before her very eyes, the boy had his hands chopped off. She screamed in tears and horror as the boy groaned in pain. Since then she never returned to mecca again because of the experience. I guess this is what islam preaches as justice by god. I will be damned if these people truly know god.

This scenario occured  during my final year project defence. The 2.2 and lower level students in my department impressed the proffesors in my department the most during our defence. I remember the external supervisor asking my H.O.D why the highly rated students performed poorly compared to the 2.2 and below students. I remember an argument ensued and the 2.2 students made jest of the first class students of being more of  crammers than productive with their initiative. As 4 me i would blame the university system and the nigerian society 4 this problem

i laugh ;d when i hear people say china making attempts to become no 1 global power. i ask, do they have the wherewithal to establish themselves as a world power. what are the traits of a world super power? ability to offer a helping hand to a country in need, whether u have anything at stake or not. this trait alone china or russia has has not shown enough. any country willing to take over from the u.s must be ready to manage global political chaos as the u.s has tried to do(though havent suceeded). we should all note that the only reason why china is a major player at the moment is as a result of their resolve to make out someting meaningful out of their ever increasing population. how many times has china lent out a helping hand to another nation accross de globe?i am not refering to non interest loans. they rerely do, simply becos they seem to have their focus on its economic dominance. this is certainly not de way to go about it, if they have an agenda towards global economic dominance. ask yourself, how many charity foundations has its root in great china? very little compared to their enormous wealth. if china wants to emerge de world power of our time. it must learn to give unconditionally(judt like the us is doing and they are seriously getting their hands burnt ) what role has china played in reducing hunger, aids, poverty in de world? not much.even their poor citizens complain of complete marginalization in wealth distribution.
