The only advantage chrome has is sync. It comes as default for android, making it easier to sync data and passwords between devices. Firefox can sync too but why would anyone want to have Firefox & chrome installed on the same phone?

That's one of the reasons for the popularity of Chrome.

Since the switch, I've never made use of Chrome. Firefox is faster. A lot faster self. Returns fewer errors even with poor connection. And not to talk about the user interface.

I love blogging but I started on a wrong note, by buying domain name from. A wrong person because I can't just tag him a scammer yet. He got paid for the domain name and adsense I bought from him and after a week, I no longer have access to the site again.

Despite changing the hosting to mine, and because it was the domain in question he used as a primary domain used in purchasing hosting from godaddy.

Now he's claiming he no longer have access to the email used in obtaining the hosting and that he has lost the hosting information as well.

That's how I lost the domain and money spent on the blogging journey.

I'm still hoping to start again one day again when am comfortable starting

The decay is obvious, I stood at some point to watch the Madness of the Police, how they abuse citizens who themselves are too scared and wearied by long unabated sufferings imposed by the government

The Police men in one of the Bus stops if you observe them properly employs area boys to collect bribes for them (both men and women Police) the area boys will stand in-front of a passenger Bus and make signals to his Police employer when Bribe is not paid and the the Police will stand in front of the vehicle until the money is given to his or her employed tout. there seemed to be no decent reputable officer of government remaining

I was told i needed the new Identity card to carry out some transaction, I visited one of the local government area in Lagos. I saw old men and women some on crushes tired and wearied by age, and i witness how officials of government were asking them for bribes to enroll them for an identity card that aught be free for citizens. I almost wept to see the pains in the eyes of these older generation Old enough to be the parents of those demanding bribes from them.
When it was my turn, I had my Spy Camera to capture the event, I recorded the demands (which i later deleted when she got winds of my recording after i told her that i was recording her bribe request , She Pleaded with her life that she does not want to loose her job)

At the VIO office at Ogba, I witnessed another cartel of criminal who would jack up fees for either a drivers licence or a Plate number, Individuals NOT the government, makes gains, they have representative at the glass house, who will give you their personal bills as if they are doing you a favor to acquire what aught belong to the government . Police will stop you and Tell you the same document you got are fake, somehow the crime is a connivance and you wonder who to trust. The country is in a Mess


Unfortunately there is no President at the moment, I cannot imagine having a man with forged certificate as my President when i have witnessed a better country where things work well.
The Frustration of darkness NEPA, the Area Boys at every Bus/stops and all the menace innumerable. I gave up the Idea, Lost the money i had invested because you have to help government who tax you to death to do their own Jobs.

Yes, Nigeria with its huge uncontrolled population is a potential market but that does not translate into ‘Ghana relies on Nigeria ‘ .

Fact is , currently not much trade is going on between Ghana and Nigeria and Nigeria does not give Ghana free oil so your statement has no head or tail.

The trading potential between African countries has been realized hence the formation of the African free trade zone which would be meaningless when countries begin to close borders rather than finding other means of solving their problems.

For instance Nigerian immigrants are currently a huge nuisance in Ghana and we would like to throw them out in a second but we are trying to find other alternatives of dealing with them.

The aim of border closure is to solve all of the above problems you've listed. It's to stimulate production.

For people to invest in production, they must be sure that their products will be consumed. Once guaranteed, they can safely invest.

Who would have wanted to invest in local rice production if people are consuming rice from Thailand?

Since that route has been shut off, a new production plant is already up within month and another is already about to kick off.

More people are going to be employed (huge unemployment not so huge anymore, is it?)

Border closure is the first step in creating a better Nigeria.

Population is never a problem if it meets adequate productivity.

What the government is doing right now will stimulate the people (theoretically) to start investing in themselves. Producing what they need (this of course will alleviate poverty) and then consuming it again (their population is their blessing) and only exporting the excess.

Now rice mills and production companies are already coming up. Next season I believe more people will invest in rice production (Nigeria has the land and water).

If its limit other things such as cars across its borders, what do think will stop more people from investing in local car production because the demand will be there. All it needs is to discourage car importation by making the cost ridiculously higher.

The path of border closure is Nigeria trying to fix itself. If sustained for long, poverty will be a thing of the past. But God help Ghana and the surrounding countries. Their local industries will start folding up one after the other like its a dream.

Market and productivity is the most important aspect of any country's economy. Of the two market (population) is the best factor to have. Productivity can be stimulated but how can you increase your market? (tell your citizens to born more children?)
