Got a mail from my School that my CAS has used-7th July
Decision mail- 13th July
Collection mail-15th July
DHL delivered- This afternoon in the rain!!!!!!!

I submitted lots of documents ( necessary documents) not just the documents stated on my CAS. e.g professional qualifications and certifications and POF was 45days.

No, I used my husband's email for his own and he got the collection mail on his email. While applying you will be asked if the mail belongs to the applicant or someone else.

Please kindly assist. While filling out the form for dependant (partner), what visa type are we to pick? I was expecting to see partner depandant visa. We won't want a situation where they will stamp 'NO WORK, NO BUSINESS' on the passport, just like someone experienced here.

Our biometrics day was just one day apart and same with our pickup date. The POF was all in my account and I indicated that on his own application, so I just submitted my statement of account. I have the Marriage certificate from the registry so I cant say much about that.

Congrats .....did both of you submit the same time?......if No what POF did he use?.....in my own case our marriage certificate was given by the church/state/LGA.....there was no court marriage....any experience with these issues??

We paid for priority for only myself but his own was processed exactly 5 working days. I guess it's a total waste paying for priority for dependants cos its processed same time with that of the main applicant. Atleast that's what happened in my case.

Please my Sister that is applying for tier 2 Visa submitted her Visa application yesterday and is trying to book her biometrics for sometime in the 3rd week of august cos of IOM wahala but all the dates after 14th of August is blank. Does it mean she cant book for biometrics 1 month ahead of time?

I used Eurofins for my day 2 & 8.

I chose the home delivery option.

It was cheap.

My only issue is that the nut heads made me to either go to their drop off point to drop the sample, or I was expected to personally pay for sample transport.

How did you check that please cos I am heading to Ikeja?

No you don't need to select flexi cos flexi is for people that want to do their biometrics at odd hours, Unless you want to pay for that as well
You need to select an available self service or assisted service date and then pay for walk in on the day you wish to go for your appointment.

Please if i want to do walk in must I select flexi appointment on tls website or it is is when i get to the tls center i can just go ahead for walk in and pay?

You will still need to do a test in Nigeria before leaving and you are also required to book for a Covid test for the Day 2 and 8 after you arrive the UK.
For flights, its advised you use Virgin Atlantic or British airways to avoid transit Visas or going through red list countries.

I have being reading about the COVID test kit, flight and also the amber list.

Pls my question is that
1) i don’t really understand about the day 2 and 8 test and because of that, i don’t need the COVID test in Nigeria before going?
2) is there a particular flight we have to go with as a student or because Nigeria is included in the amber list.

After paying your IHS and Visa application fee you will be redirected to the TLs website. That's where you select and paY for priority or any other value added service.

I understand that it’s usually the documents that’s written on the offer letter that would be requested for during the Visa Application.

Quick one please, On the document checklist there is an official use part where the submission officer is supposed to sign. How is it then uploaded after they sign it on the biometrics day or it's not necessary?
