Good day my people. I printed my tls appointment mail, checklist, applicatn form & all payment receipts in black & white. Only my passport data page is colour copy. Hope that is acceptable those that have gone for biometrics.

My question was if statement of result can suffice. If it can then why do I need to travel miles to go get the original certificate. Everything no be fight. Read to understand and not just to respond.

I choose August 26th. I called the accommodation peeps and they will help me keep it until I arrive, so relieved!!! But another thing is whether the testing package has an expiry date or something similar since it will be dispatched a month earlier than when it will be used.

What date did you choose as your arrival date when paying for the tests, because if you choose August 26th, then they should ship on 27th and it should be delivered the same day.

2. I got the day 2 and 8 package for £70 but Just checked out the review of my provider(Expert medicals) and it is really poor. Does this affect anything or has anyone here used them please?

Thanks, I had to jump on the offer cos I am trying to save cost. I expect that the closer my travel date gets the less expensive kits will be sold out just like flight tickets. So they delivered yours the day after you arrived the UK?

It seems you are just bring too anxious. If you are scheduled to travel 26th of Aug. I will advise you to still be monitoring the traffic light listings of the UK till a week to your departure, you may be lucky Nigeria becomes listed on the green list then you may not need to take so many Tests because if you needlessly pay for the Tests now you won't get a refund. AS for the provider,
the expert medicals is about the cheapest on the gov recommended long list of providers ,it is the cost that matters most in this case, some providers charge as much as £150 for this same test.
Travelling within Europe with my big household i paid more than £800 using Expert Medicals, i think its because of these big spendings which many people consider unnecessary that is making them to drop bad ratings. Expert Medicals service is OK, they will communicate with you before they deliver the package to your UK address, this takes usually about 3 days.
The passender locator Form cannot be completed too soon logically because of the ever changing travelling rules, this is to be done about 2 to 3 days before entering the UK.

When buying the test kits online from the provider, they will ask you your arrival date in the UK, as your test kits are supposed to be sent to you the day after you arrive the UK so you will get them in time to take the Day 2 test. That should be what they mean.

Unconditional offers? I guess getting original certificate is a must, really trying to skip that.

This is summer and holiday property might not be priced the way it will be in the next 3 months, but I shouldn't think Sheffield will be pricey. I just checked and I can see some 4-starred and above offers ranging from 20 - 33 pounds a night in and around Sheffield for a randomly chosen 10 day stay in late August for 2 guests.

And yes you need to have an address to fill in the locator form, so you'll have to book before you travel.

Please who knows any good site where I can book affordable airbnb? The ones I am seeing on google are on the high side and I plan to stay for 2 weeks including the quarantine period before getting an accommodation.
Also, I think getting a place to stay comes before completing the passenger locator form and booking for the day 2 and 8 test cos I need to fill in the address I will stay in on the form. How correct is this please? I am heading to Sheffield

Biometrics date are selling out fast and same date may not be available when you finish all applications, so your best bet for getting same day appointment is via walk in. Ps: if your agent is confused, why are you paying him then?

The Visa vignette has a 90days validity period, if they dont travel before it expires then that's a whole different process again.

Just study the Pre Cas preparation documents they sent but The summary is:
The number 1 question was my Student Id, please memorize that. Know all your course modules, why you choose Sheffield hallam Uni and what you know about Sheffield City, about accommodation- where you plan to stay, how much it cost and how far away it is from the Uni, whether you wanna work in the UK and why, what you presently do and how much you earn, why you choose your course and how it's related to your previous course of study, if you have dependants coming with you and what they plan to do in the uk, closest airport to Sheffield and how far it is to Sheffield, Organisations you plan to work for after completion of your studies. These are the much I can remember

I am going to Sheffield Hallam, I got my CAS 5 working days after the pre Cas interview and we are expected to pay 50% of fees before enrollment but I am not sure how much after enrollment

Usually they ask you to crosscheck all your documents. I think you need to go for certificate re-issue at the IOM office, the cost is 8500 per certificate.

My family got our TB test result today, my wife is the student while our son and i are dependants but on the TB test result, my son and I's result shows "student without scholarship" while my wife's own "settlement with dependants".

Please is this a cause for concern? can this lead to visa refusal or complications?

Yes the dependant is restricted from doing certain jobs such as being a sportsperson, a doctor or dentist in training and No you ain't entitled to public funds cos you ain't a tax payer, even students do not benefit
from that as well. You Vignette is in order
