That's year ending, year 1 ending figure is what its starts with. That figures represents 12 calender months target. My very first investment was 2m for 182 days. We can start small and religiously follow through, within few years you will be shocked at your reserves.

I think it will be safe to travel in late Nov/December time without any Covid 19 restriction, I have relatives due to fly into Nigeria this month but we just got an update yesterday stating that anyone that travels outside the zone now will be quarantined for 14 days upon return, oyibo mean business.

Also, this is the most boring time to travel to Nigeria, December will be lit, people are trying to get back to work now to hustle more in lost income and enjoy at the end of the year.

Air travel just started off operations is some parts of Europe, there are likely two things that will happen. A sudden hike in prices of air travel or losses by airlines to maintain social flight distance on board aircraft for the next few months.

These days, it is rare to see anyone that will engage in such investment let alone in a thread where people are looking to improve their o.5% Tb interest rate to 100 percent .

I advice the person in demand to keep investing in him/herself. If Nigeria was an honest country, all that is required could've been generated within one month maximum. Do not lose hope, keep looking.

If it was when I still had hope in humanity I would've personally helped, but I have paid my dues, I only help children.

Agreed. I also thought about it and the following questions came up.

1. What if she gets there and refuses to pay up and the guarantors obviously can't pay? I have no time for endless litigations.

2. What if she actually starts paying and gets deported back to Nigeria?

3. God forbid, but what if she loses her life?

Infact, this is why I never engage in these work place thrift where people pay money at the end of the month and take turns to collect. Someone who has collected may die before I collect mine.

Her best bet is to source for the funds from people who personally know her or she remains here in Nigeria and hustle her way out.

As bad as the country is, people are still schooling here and making it upon graduation.

I can imagine, I recently encountered this with two tenants in one of my properties in Nigeria, the first one moved in with okada to the flat, within 3 years he progressed, his business started moving well, he bought 5 vehicles, 3 trucks, 2 private cars and married, currently he has 3 kids. My caretaker even used my car to rush his wife to hospital for delivery for his first child while he was still riding okada at the time.

He is uneducated, recently he felt he has made money and started causing problems at my property, he slapped his fellow tenants wife . When I heard it I was shocked but I expected the husband of the man slapped to deal with him cos he had reasonable amount of money but the man did nothing and said he will let it slide.

I couldn't take such and I made some contacts as early as 6am, some new recruits from 82 division came and bundled the troublesome tenant away saying their oga sent them due to what he did to the woman. They beat him black and blue, he returned and piped low for some weeks, a few months later he started trouble again, this caused one tenant to move out, two tenants were already having issues with same troublesome tenant, through a third party, I contacted a lawyer, paid N40k, he issued eviction notice for the tenant, followed it up and within 4 months the troublesome tenant packed out, we didn't even get to court which was going to cost at least 250k.

The second tenant is with the police force, same strategy but this time used only a lawyer as he is a bit educated and understood he will be evicted of he didn't pay, he has been paying in advance ever since.

Understand the type of tenant and apply a suitable approach.

Real Estate is the way to go now, currently I am negotiating with housing agents for some properties. Nigeria real estate investment don't pay much taxes, I own a property overseas and my tenants pay N260k a month for a two bed flat, the tax I pay on the properties is very discouraging.

Always use a third party to run your rental property if you do not live in the country, do not come in close contact with tenants when they owe you, things can easily get personal and other tenants who have grudge against you may start conniving but with third party they have less conflict.

I and Tonto Dike have been dating for a while, we have been keeping things low key and talking about marriage but don"t want to make it publice yet.

She is done with her former husband Churchill but she chats with him on weekly basis because they share a son. I am trying to see if we can do the wedding this year but she said we don't need to rush things.

I am planning my wedding on the 18th december and i would like to invite Davido to peform and Basket mouth to be the MC.

I am not sure how to go about contacting them to know their availability, money is not a problem. But i would still like to know how much they charge.

Does anyone here have an idea how much Davido will charge to come and perfom his song "FIA" on my wedding as my wife wants to hear the song. Also, how much could basket mouth charge to do the MC for the whole wedding. I will invite two Nairalanders to the wedding and pay their flight, hotel stay and give each N25K.

This is the terrible state of Akanu Ibiam Enugu International Airport, pot holes on a run way. This is a huge Aircraft hazard that requires urgent attention but the authorities are not doing anything about it.
