Politics › Re: Fubara On His Way To APC After He Was Stripped Of The Party Structure by PressMyButton: 10:54am On Apr 06, 2024
Fubara was shocked by that list. I was also shocked that NWC could fill the list with Wike's loyalists. Truly, Wike is the lion of PDP.

there was a clause, so if you don't even know about the clause in the contract then you have little info about the whole power issue for you to be arguing about anyhow....
I asked you, which clause?, quote it.

Yes, I know the complexities, the clause expired about 2 or 3 years ago, what did APC do after that?
Which clause?, there're clauses in a contract.

So what did APC use 8 years to do in office? To continue doing what PDP was doing ?
Do you realize the complexities of the contract that PDP gave the Discos and Gencos? , You think it's that easy to cancel the contracts?
Politics › Re: Electricity Tariff Hike: Tinubu’s Reforms Lack Human Face – Atiku by PressMyButton: 7:37am On Apr 06, 2024
Same Atiku that sold all our national assests to his cronies and friends at scrap value. Same PDP government that sold NEPA and put Nigerians in darkness. God indeed is a patient God.

You have a point but for some reason you didn't consider that people are pissed because wages have not changed.

Where I leave once government observed that there are going to be possible increment in the prices of goods and services wages are indexed against such percentage increment. Hence, workers can be able to absorb the increase in price.

You don't just remove subsidy on petrol and now on electricity without channeling such subsidy as an increment in wages.

How do you expect the average worker whose salary has remain the same but within the same time frame has seen petrol price more than double and electricity tariff more than tripped in addition to the prices of other basic goods ?

I think you should be comprehensive in your assessment.
You want Government to increase minimum wage, provide you cheaper fuel, cheaper electricity, infrastructure, etc yet you want Government to keep paying subsidy on everything. where would the money come from?

If they can't deliver they seize their licenses or better still take whole thing back from them n let d poor breathe..As am talking to you,,do you know how many bread winners that are contemplating suicide? Hmmmm dey play
Truth is bitter, the Government would have sold NEPA to technically and financially competent investors rather than their cronies who are grossly incompetent. Moreover, the terms of contracts makes it difficult to withdraw their lincense, otherwise Government will face litigation and pay heavy fines. Some distressed Discos have been taken over by AMCON.

So it's good for FG to transfer the burden of paying subsidies now to Nigerians to start paying, cos that's what it is now.
Government sold NITEL without paying subsidy to MTN, GLO, etc. Why must Government pay subsidy to Discos and Gencos after buying NEPA?

Politics › Re: This New Tariff Must Not Stand! - Simon Musa by PressMyButton: 6:51am On Apr 06, 2024
PDP sold NEPA to incompetent individuals while Government keeps paying subsidy to support their operations. Such can only happen in Nigeria where we keep giving money to buyers of public assests. They are only interested in collecting subsidies to futher enrinch themselves, for so long, Government has been paying subsidy for darkness. Kudos to the President for gradually putting a stop to the fraud.

Abuse of Naira is not a financial crime. It is a misdemeanor that police should prosecute in a magistrate court.
Abuse of naira is a violation of CBN act 2007 and it can collaborate with any regulatory and law enforcement agency whenever there is a violation. NPF, ICPC, EFCC, FIRS, NFIU, any of these agencies could collaborate with CBN to enforce such a law.

I did not even know that electricity was being subsidized untik now. When we hear subsidy, all we are think off is gasoline products.

Now I have have learnt dollars and electricity are being subsidized. The discos have been socializing the cost but capitalize the profit. Lol.
I don't know why people heaping blames on the FG, i guess a lot of people are plain ignorant. We have been through wrong direction for a very long time and it'd take a man with guts to steer us right. How can we sell our public assets to individuals, yet we keep paying them to run the assets. These cabal do not want to get their grip off us but i appreciate Tinubu for putting them in their place.
Politics › Re: Expect More Increase In Electricity Tariff, FG Tells Nigerians by PressMyButton: 6:32pm On Apr 05, 2024
100% in support of FG. FG has been paying subsidy for darkness for decades. This is one of the many evils of PDP whereby incompetent cronies of government were sold NEPA while government keeps paying billions in subsidy to private owners to cover for their operating loss. Which sensible country does that?

Please show us evidence of how long tilumbu worked at mobil for him to amass such wealth as to single handedly sponsor the NADECO movement back then undecided

Stop sidestepping the question cool I will always be here waiting for your answer
Tinubu worked in 3 big corporations abroad before coming back home. Deloite, GTE and Mobil. So, he was never a poor man and I have never said he was a billionaire either prior to his coming back home. Ynu guys need to understand English.

. How many years did Tinubu work in mobil ?
How does that invalidate the fact that he rose from being a corporate auditor to a treasurer from Mobile Uk to Mobil Nigeria?. Big corporations often apply meritocracy.

Nobody has claimed Tinubu was a billionaire when he was in corporate world, we said he was already rich and made. Stop twisting the point.
