Seplat is an indigenous company owned by two Ibo men. They are the owners of ANOH gas project. The joint venture with NNPC is for a smooth operation.

Whenever any news concerning gas hits the FP, i have seen ibos bragged and say " SE gas" meanwhile, not a single gas project has been completed in the SE. Second of, this is the first gas project in the SE and it was awarded by Buhari in 2019, it is expected to begin production in the Q3 of this year. Third of, ANOH oil and gas field is owned by about six different oil companies. However, this very project is owned by NNPC, the major financier and SEPLAT.

Guy you be mugu. It's Seplat project with an FG gas company. Seplat is not just a contractor but joint owner. This is different from KKK Pipeline executed by OilServe, another igbo company owned by Emeka Okwuosa. OilServe is just a contractor in that particular project but ANOH is different, Seplat is joint onwer with a subsidiary of NNPC

I thought you were wise but you ain't, you trying to make it look like SEPLAT owned it while downplaying NNPCL, that's a dumb talk. Rightly said, this project is being delivered by ANOH Processing Company- a JV company owned by NNPC and SEPLAT. After completion, ANOH Processing Company will manage and operate the gas plant. NNPC is the major financier while SEPLAT supplies gas from its OML51 block directly to the plant for processing. That's how JV works. Hope i've been able to cure your ignorance.
