Like said Coal is here to stay....
Nigeria should explore coal
Do you longer see steam locomotives around?. Trump promised to revive coal factories but he couldn't. Coal factories are shutting down, nobody is gonna put scarce resources on inefficient energy dirt and climate disaster. Unless there is an alternative use of coal, nobody is going to touch it.

The least you can do is to ask google if the 9 states of Niger Delta is in constitution or not.
My bad, i was mixing it up with SS.

You are ignorant both in constitution and geography Imo state is part of Niger Delta.
ND is a political expression, it's not in the constitution. I never said imo was not part of ND.

Is Imo state constitutionally not part of so called Niger Delta?
There's nothing like niger delta in the constitution. soon Kogi will be considered part of ND too.

You see your deceit!? In the case of the SEPLAT ANOH gas plant, it’s your useless federal gov’t…..but when it comes to Lagos, that all Nigerians contributed to its economy, it’s down to the sophistry of Tinubu and Yorubas’ abi!?
It is FG project.

You need help. We are not your mates abeg. You inferior minority tribes have been raped and fleeced and left with nothing. They can't try shyte with the great igbo nation, their nightmare.
This is our project, this is our gas.
Seplat is equal owner with NNPC subsidiary and put their investment in Imo, if it's entirely FG we know it would have been Rivers. Wherever they pipe the gas our brothers at Seplat take their profits unlike Shell milking Niger Delta gas and packing the money to their country
You were earlier blabbling that 'ibos had the major shareholding' until i bursted you and then you changed the claim to 'equal owner". First of, ALL mineral resources beneath the soil belongs to the FG, whether the gas in Rivers or Imo. Secondly, NNPC deployed money, personels and equipments used to drill out the gas deposits, thirdly, there was a bid for the project and FG awarded it to a successful bidder. Meanwhile, the issue of JV is a secondary issue.

Nobody ever said that the gas we have been using came from SE. We only said that SE has the largest gas reserve which is true. We all know Ogun and Lagos have been using gas from Escravos. Niger Delta na mugu, Obasanjo carried their gas to Ogun, northerners carried their oil to Kaduna. But Igbos kept their own at home, built by our own Seplat (Austin Avuru and ABC Orjiakor are the largest shareholders and are both Igbos)
It is only by official report that could say otherwise. As we speak, ND has the highest gas deposits. This project, however, is an FG project awarded to SEPLAT. There's NOTHING like 'igbos kept their own at home'.
After completion, FG can pipe it to wherever they feel like.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Nation Agitation Not Security Threat, Igboho Replies Military by PressMyButton: 6:54am On Jan 04, 2024
ALL non-state actors are threats to peace of the country. The constitution does not recognize Yoruba nation, Biafra, Arewa or Niger delta republic, the only entity it recognizes is Nigeria and the security agencies empowered by law, any individual or a group of individuals who aprobates to itself the power of security forces, does so at his own peril.
Politics › Re: Seplat Energy Says ANOH Gas Plant Reaches Mechanical Completion by PressMyButton: 6:32am On Jan 04, 2024
Ignorance indeed is a disease, some ignorant folks talk as if the huge amount of gas we consume in Nigeria comes from the SE but from the news above, the only gas project in the SE is just nearing completion as it was awarded by Buhari administration a few years back and the bulk of the gas are majorly for cooking purposes. The gas we have been using for over five decades to power our electricity and domestic use comes from the Niger delta and that's the region with the highest gas deposits in the country.

Dey deceive yourself. You can only try to fool people that are mumus.

- Ordinary mayor of Aba, you brought up your clanish, caste system and tribal politics.
- Bianca Ojukwu was told to return to Enugu when she tried to contest in Anambra.
- Your people chased Betty Akeredolu away from Imo when she tried to contest for Senate under imo because she married a Yoruba man.
- Ordinary market election in Anambra, Peter Obi would not let people from other state/region contest
E.t.c.
I saw them say ibos are liberal and i was asking myself if "liberal" has a new meaning. These guys are a bunch of comic relief, they throw words around carelessly.

You keep saying the north is too blablabla..

Is the north bigger than most states in the US?

Just admit that the government have repeatedly failed in its primary duty to protect the lives and properties of it's citizens instead of trying to justify the security on the size of the north.
US is the country with the most gun violence in the world. It has the record for the most deaths record per month.

The North is too big, you can't have soildiers everywhere. I feel like traditional and religious leaders ain't doing enough, they have failed their people. I think it's time FG approved state police.

That burden would be shifted and placed on those wanting to acquire the professional body certification
Which leads to increased fees for study and certification
Exactly how it is supposed to be. Professional bodies must seek for their own funding without depending on the Government for handout.

Tinubu retained Ben Akabueze as DG Budget office, i'm most certain the President will work with him the entire duration of his tenure. I was suprised he retained Ajuri too after his 8years with Buhari. Asiwaju doesn't throw his own under the bus and these guys are good at what they do too.

Politics › Re: NNPCL, Marketers Clash Over Subsidy, Operators Peg Petrol At N1,200/litre by PressMyButton: 7:57am On Jan 03, 2024
Oil marketers have been scheming to fleece Nigerians in the most crooked ways since the removal of subsidy. They have been trying to armtwist FG to grant them access to cheaper dollar rate, since the FG ain't granting them, they have refused to import fuel which has resulted in NNPC becoming the sole importer of fuel. And as far as NNPCL solely import our fuel consumption, you can't sell beyond NNPCL's price. Oil marketers are so greedy that are scampering for a final cash out before our refineries start production.
