ifyalways: I honestly dont know but there are drugs, ask your Gyn.
So i heard. The thing is, 'they' said the drugs have long term side effects. It may be false though but am not willing to take any risk, that is why i want to find out if there are natural stuffs i can take or use.
Jidegirl already mentioned cabbage. If it truly works, then thats natural enough for me.

Mothers in the house please come to my aid ooooo!
When you wanted to stop nursing your baby, was there some kind of food or fruit or herbs you took?

From what i have gathered, its always painful and can take as long as 2 to 3 weeks for the milk to completely dry up. How then did you bear that terrible pain and ache?

Anyone with tips on food or fruit i should take (aside from google's own), please share.

Thanks.

Clean hands straight up. The only time i struggled to eat swallow with cutleries was when i fixed my nails back in school. I didnt enjoy the food at all. So its hands all the way for that proper feel.

Read this true life story so you will understand her reasons more.

There was a woman happily married with 3 kids, all girls. She was always worried that she hasnt been able to have a male child. Her husband comforted her at such instances and assured her that he wasnt worried one bit and that she should be greatful and thankful she has 3 females, that some people are gong about looking for one.

One day, the man returned from work, accompanied by a heavily pregnant woman and a little boy of about 2years. The man fixed them up in their guest room, didnt say anything to the suprised and confused wife. When he finally spoke, he said the boy is his son and the pregnant woman his wife and mother of the kid.

The very next day, together with his mum, the man and the pregnant woman went to the court and got married!

Unfortunatly for the first wife, they only did native law and custom. She had no case to hold against the man in court as she wasnt his legal wife. The other woman was and the man kicked the woman and her three daughters out!

****this is not fiction. True life story. Auntieagatha..com****

@op, do you get it now?

FamilyRe: What Is The Best Way To Tell them about deodorants? by PrettyCindy(f): 1:38pm On Jan 22, 2013
In situations whereby you feel the person may feel insulted or end up opicking offence, i think placing an anonymous (with your voice changed of course) or sending an anonymous typed note or anonymously pining a note under their car wiper may be an option. In such a case, you will be very direct and let the person know how they have made fun of due to their body odour.

Personally, if i have a flaw and my friends or closest friend knows about it and keeps quiet in the name of not hurting me, i will be fury as hell with them for not saying it because they are supposed to be my friends. But everyone is not the same, as some people will feel offended.

fellis: BDPAis not so good when it comes to light matters because plenty students live there and as a result there is a lot of demand on the transformer so the area is always having electric power problems.
Besides I heard that there are many robbers and cultists in the place.
Whoa! You scared me there. Robbers and cultisthuh I already had enough of them when i was in AAU.
I did an interview with UBTH late last year and they are yet to release list of successful applicants. Am being positive it will work out. This is where the issue of proximity comes in. I have a little child and would want to live in an area close to the hospital. Any ideas?
TravelRe: Benin Vs Warri - Which Place Is Better For Relocation? by PrettyCindy(op): 5:05am On Jan 21, 2013
@Bedford and Fellis, thanks.

Bedford, can you please give me the price range for a 2bedroom flat with kitchen and convinience.

@fellis, a friend said BDPA area is very good especially for my kind of business and in case the job am seeking for works out. Do you know what the present light situation is like in that area and the cost of renting a flat? The person who told me about it doesnt live there anymore.
FamilyRe: Left-handedness In Children; Can It Be Corrected? by PrettyCindy(op): 10:30pm On Jan 20, 2013
Agrika: Seriously i dont see anything wrong in it, my dad was naturally right-handed until an electric accident that forced him to start using his left hand, my younger brother is left-handed, my sister's firstborn is also left-handed and i observed during secondary school days while playing football or volleyball i always played left or served using my left hand....personally i feel left-handed people are gifted most especially when it comes to the field of mathmatics or arts
I get your point. I wasnt so sure before but from what i have read from the general public (nairaland), i am cool now and have even given up the idea of attempting to change him (if he eventually turns out to be full blown lefty).

trae_z: -Wanted to pass the thread by as my instant assumption was the OP being a typical Nigerian thinks being left handed is demonic.
-Was happy to know that wasn't exactly the case.
-But reading on and seeing PrettyCindy outburst over a provocation i can't seem to see makes me loose all respect for her.
-She seems easily prone to rudeness and somehow does appear to reason like in the 16th century.
-She's so not wife material.
LOL!!!! Like seriously...........today is sunday so am gonna pass on your invitation to go low and stoop to ya level. Screw you.

Uwakuwak: what abouj soya milk?
You can google soya milk recipe. Its same all over.
FoodRe: How To Make Soya Bean Meal For Your Baby (with Pictures) by PrettyCindy(op): 9:06am On Jan 19, 2013
@Julesbloom, noooooooooo.
You can't use soya beans alone, the milk is important majorly because of high calcium content they normally contain which is very essential for growing babies.

I add my specially prepared soya beans and milk to my boy's pap. Even when i want to take the soya beans alone, i must add milk and little sugar to improve the taste.

Babygoat_123, you may not bother replying cos i may not read it. If i see a "NEW" sign attached to this thread and the last poster read your username, i won't open it. She o ti gbo? It is people like you who go about spoiling peoples thread and abusing people unnecessarily.

This thread have served its purpose, i have learnt alot from it today. Na you babyfool go spoil am. Agbaya like you. Anu npam!
FamilyRe: Left-handedness In Children; Can It Be Corrected? by PrettyCindy(op): 8:32pm On Jan 18, 2013
baby_123: My dear God has already punished you. You have been blessed but you are still so stu8pid. You sound like you live in a cave or you are talking from the 16th century. I didnt know there were people like you still in this 21st century. Just astounded at your stupidity and your dumb display of ignorance. Go and hide your head in shame. didirin.
Am so lol right now. Is that all you have got? You are a big fool and you will continue to be one. Its as simple as ABC. Like i said, you will never deserve any child and you will continue to be a local champion and an agbaya. S tupid thing like you.
And how did God punish me? My marriage you meanhuh It was indeed a great blessing to me as it was an abusive one so just shut up your hole there.

I dont abuse people on nairaland but you are just too much of an i.d.i.o.t for me to keep quiet. You abused me when there was absolutely no reason and i abused you back. SHIKENA.
FamilyRe: Sorry & ashamed for my past. But NOT for my future & my baby by PrettyCindy(f): 8:21pm On Jan 18, 2013
Op, you are one out of a thousand girls who have experienced this. Majority will abort the child and live with the guilt and consequences of whatever may go wrong in the process of the abortion. A few will decide to keep the pregnancy, nuture it and have the baby. The begining wont be easy i tell you. There will be lots of regrets and side talks but at the end, you will always be proud of yourself.

Should you decide to keep the baby, with your family and friends support and love, you will be alright. When i was pregnant and living in a state very far from my parents, my friends (all married ladies) were always there for me. I never felt lonely or had time to even think about the marriage or ex. And when i put to bed, it was in my family home. My parents, siblings, friends never gave me breathing space so there was no time or room to think about the situation with ex. My child is one year old now and its like ex never existed in the first place!

All i'm trying to say is that you can be pregnant with no boyfriend and still be happy. Efemena and debrief has said alot and you should listen to them.

Forget about the man and move on with your life.

Julesbloom: tnx so much, wil give it a try.
You are welcome. If you prepare this yourself with all those ingredients, i swear you will never buy those sold in supermarkets again and your baby will love it.
