My friend whose baby was 2.6kg had episiotomy. It wasnt the nurse that tore her oooo. The baby did. She said its because she was circumcised and i agree with her.
My baby weighed 4.0kg and mehhnnn did he tear me to pieces, up and down. I was given lots of stitches but everything healed up nicely exactly 2weekss later. The Doctor who performed the stitch used a mordern method with dissolvable "thread".
It was hell peeing and toiletting as i was always scared the stitch would loose.
Next time, i would prefer they give me a little cut than my baby tearing me.
Its not easy abeg. Plenty gbozas for we mothers.

The agent we are using brought an acceptance letter from the school and last week, the visa was issued. When we saw the visa this morning, it had one month transit visit written on it. We are suspecting serious foul play because we expected that the visa will be 3-4years sudent visa.
Also we are concerned if its possible the whole thing is a scam as the age is supposed to be a barrier.
The man said the student vis will be issued in Turkey.

Please can anyone share with me if this is real?
Is there a way we can verify the authenticity of the admission?
The agent said they will be starting lectures on monday.

I would have considered accepting him back if he apologised when i was still pregnant. My ex husband never apologises, he used to say its an abomination for a man to apologise to a woman. Since he got the letter, he didnt even call me. But he has been calling my cousin. He cant bring him self to apologise to me, that is how proud he is.

The thing is, there is nothin to go back for. I have thought about this well, i just cant think of any thing to look forward to if i accept him back.

yes. In situations like man where the man refuses to accept back the bride price, the only option left is the court. Even if the man refuses to honour the court's invitation, after series of adjournments, the court would rule and order you to pay the brideprice into the treasury (or something like that, my case havent reached that stage yet so i'm not sure). The man can come and collect it at any time he likes.

I made an attempt once to contact him when my baby was about 4months old, asked him if he wasnt interested in the baby's welfare. Do you know what he said? He said he wasnt going to send money for anything and that even if he considers it, he will ask his elder brother first.
He reasons and acts like a child, destroyed my dignity and self esteem. Made me feel terrible all the time, never saw anything good in me. Made me feel like i was good for nothing and could do nothing good.
I remeber once i (when we were (co-habiting), i pleaded with him to make arrangement for someone to make a small banner for me so i will advertise my business. This man said he wasnt interested in my stu..pi.d business. I finally started that "stu..pi.d" business after the birth of my son and now i have really really excelled in it. I never believed i could actually be this good. The strenght to finally start the business came from my baby.

My own experience.
I was always verbally abused by my ex husband to the point that it seemed like a normal thing to me. It really killed my self esteem.
It then graduated to physical abuse when i was 2 months pregnant. How did i react? I fought back. He slapped me first and i slapped him back, hard of course. I did not just sit down like a whimp and let him beat me. I fought him back with all i had, made sure i didnt cry. I had had enough. No way i was going to give him the satisfaction of beating me. That was the last straw. We seperated after that...........and of course i stayed in the house. He asked me to leave the house but i reminded him that he didnt pick me from the streets. The only way i was leaving was if he rented a place for me. So he left.

I strongly believe there are good marriages and people out there. I have also seen horrible marriages and relationships, i mean very terrible marriages. Mine is an example of such very terrible marriages. Its was so bad that no one would judge me if i choose to hate all men.
But i don't because i believe there are good men and sweet marriages out there. All my friends are married and 99% of them are very happy. That is good enough for me.
Having a bad experience is not enough to generalize and conclude.

We were married for about 8months. We seperated one year and eight months ago when i was about 3months pregnant. Since then till date, he never asked about my child, dont even know the colour of my child's skin. We made several attempts to return the bride price he paid (only married traditionally) but they refused to accept it.

So i decided to opt for divorce. The divorce petition was sent to him through my cousin. My cousin said ex husband was shocked to his root when he saw the topic of the letter. Said he wasn't expecting such.

For reasons i dont understand, my cousin who is married gave ex husband his phone number. And ever since then, ex husband and his family members have been bombarding him with calls pleading with him to plead with my family that they want reconciliation and settlement.

As far as i'm concerned, its all drama.

That man maltreated me so much that thinking about it now is making me sick.

I will have to do it gradually like most of you said. I will stop nursing him at nights first then gradually reduce the daily feedings to once - twice daily. Then once daily to once in two days etc etc. I believe i will be able to do it this way.

I will buy the cabbage and still try it to see its effect.
