baby_123: My parents thought like you and regretted their actions till today. Speaking as a child in your son's situation then, don't ever attempt it. Left handed children are a gift. They are mostly very intelligent, and creative. You are blessed and you want to use your own hand to take your blessing away. Let him shake or take whatever with his left hand, people will be alright. Why worry about people when you should worry about your son? I was a very strong left, so I lost the use to it after being so discouraged and made to feel like there was something bad wrong with me as a lefty. Learn to appreciate God's gifts and leave that little genius alone. Agbaya somebody. Mtscheew. Local champion like you don't deserve him sef.You started well but ended wrongly. You are the one who is an agbaya, you are a big fool, you are worse than a local champion and will never deserve kids even if you already have. God punish you. Is that how you go about abusing people when its uncalled for? |
smartmom:Lol, funny chick. If its the way he is "wired", i guess i will leave it to nature. |
THREAD CLOSED. |
@all. Its ok. I have read all your comments and now understand its not odd like i thought that a child is left handed. No one is an island of knowledge and we are learning each day. I will let him be but will teach him (if he turns out to be lefty fully) to shake hands, eat and take something from people with right . Thanks for your contributions. |
advocate666: my first child is left handed and my second it right handed. The second is copying everything the first does and it is just funny watching her try to play games with her left hand instead of her natural right.Aren't you taking it a bit far. You are an idiot for saying that i need satanic deliverance. You are the one who needs all kinds of deliverance. |
chaircover: That is what you said!!!!!lol. Its ok |
@chaircover, please read through my post again. I never said my son is odd. |
Bluestream: @OP Why dont you just google the subject of left handed people...there is enough information out there to educate you on the subject and you would realize that it is a perfectly natural thing...the kid is wired that way...its only certain cultures that teach you that it is 'taboo' etc, but its not. Neither is it a habit. It is a function of how the neural pathways in the child's brain are configured from birth...tampering with it is not advisable...some of the greatest people the earth has known are 'southpaws' as they are called...Appreciated. Will google it and learn more about it. |
Joangirl, be happy you are not the "unfortunate" girl getting married to an abuser like him. The fiancee may have experienced it all but maybe she is pretty thick skinned r have accepted her faith and sees nothing wrong in been abused. Or who knows, he may have changed his abusive ways. You don't have a boyfriend? Relax ok. A decent deserving and responsible guy will come your way soon. Just be yourself and let nature take its course. |
You people keep mentioning Barrack Obama. I no fit laugh abeg. So if he is a lefty nko? Abegi...... I didnt say its a problem because it is not. Its a habit learnt from toddler years. I will make efforts and teach him how to use his right hand like Kenneth said. |
@ fresh dude and co, its not demonic. I just do not like my son using his left hand instead of the normal right. Its odd to me. And if its a habit that can be stopped, i should be able to make efforts to correct it not just sit down and say, 'its the way its mearnt to be'. @kenneth, thanks. You made a valid point there. |
Hello everyone, people around me have been saying that my 1 year old son is a 'lefty'. Though i have keenly observed that he does practically everything from picking up objects to waving goodbye with his left hand. I don't believe he is a 'lefty' because i feel its because he sees me and others use our right hand alot which to him may be left when he is facing opposite me or anyone. Besides no one uses left hand in my family and am certain its same in his birth father too so i keep wondering where he got it from. I do not like it and want to correct and stop it. Someone said that it cannot be corrected because he was born that way. I totally disagree. If anyone of you has experienced such in your kid and was able to correct it, how did you do it? |

Hey all, please i need to know which of the cities mentioned in my topic is better for a lady to relocate to. Am from Delta, currently live in Delta but need to relocate from where i am to somewhere else. I have Benin and Warri in mind. For those who live in either city, is the cost of living high? I have alot of questions to ask but let me wait till i get a reply or two. |

Crayfish
|
Roasted peanuts
|
Oven baked unripe plantain
|
Soya beans already fried
|
Ingredients: Soya beans seeds Unripe plantain Crayfish Peanut PROCEDURE: 1) Using a completely dried pot or frying pan, stir fry the soya beans till they start turning slightly brown (make sure you pick away dirts, stones and bad bean seeds from the bulk before frying). Spread on a tray to cool. 2) Fry your peanuts or buy ready made one from the market. 3) Cut the peeled unripe plaintain into very thin flakes and bake with your oven till crispy but not burnt. Or buy already fried unripe plantain (kpekere). 4) Tie each ingredient seperatly. 5) If you have a heavy duty blender or miller, loosen the grinder and pass the soya beans through once to seperate the skin from the beans. Then carefully blow away the skin. 6) Then grind every thing together including the crayfish. Grind till smooth. 7) Spread out on a tray to cool before storing in containers. Add to already prepared pap or anyother cereal when feeding your baby. |
Whle growing up, i was told that whenever your palm is itching you, it means you are about to recieve money either as a gift or anyother way. But that it simply means money is coming your way soon. And you know what, this has happened to me several times and it turned out to be true! Whenever my palm suddenly starts itching, that means am goong to get some cash either a business contract is coming my way or someone just wants to favour me sort of. It even happened to me two days ago. Anyother person agree with me? Share your expperience. |
Thanks for sharing. Will certainly try this out. |
Semovita contains starch while the other two does not contain starch. Wheat is mearnt for diabetics and any one who is controlling their sugar and carbohydrate intake. Same with semolina, i think. |
Abuja market women are 100% guilty of using cabide. I have eaten plantain ripened with cabide. It doesnt taste well. Rots easily. The skin blackens and hardens easily while the skin becomes permanently glued to the plantian. Like have been stated above, its better to wrap with a black nylon and keep in the cooler. Mind you, immatured plantain will not "force- ripen" easily. It will first mature before it ripens. |
45 days old broiler? Lord have mercy. |
You have gat to be kidding me. The worse is that they wont even use protection. |
