@NN let us learn to always credit the source of information so that we won't be like those people that spoilt the country.

@topic it is a big shame. They just want to provide cover for their activities.

Mar1810 Voter power

Please register to vote. Even if the election is rigged, you have to go out and vote. You would have no moral right to complain if evil geniuses are elected to power when you could not exercise your civic duties. The power of change is in your hands. The burden is on you. Evil prevails when good people do nothing.

Beaf:
As soon as you recognise that we are talking about states here, not tribe; you will realise that what you have there is an extraordinary ton of rubbish. The very sort of confused rubbish that the corrupt govt uses to blind us.

The problems we have pointed out are visible, even to the blind.

Since you are clever enough to see our arguments as tribalistic, please tell me why Katsina should have 3 top NNPC managers, while the following oil producing states have zero;
Bayelsa (0)
Cross River (0)
Ondo (0)

Does Katsina produce more graduates than either of those states?
While you are at it, please convince us why those pointing out the glaring truth are being tribalistic.
Stop shifting the goal posts you bloody tribalist. It is people like you that eat our country out from within while pretending to be on the side of the people. If you get into government you will be no different from those at the top that are in cahoots together but use ethic agendas to deceive people so that they can continue stealing.
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Criticizes Bank Consolidation Exercise by prettyG: 6:34pm On Mar 01, 2010
chidichris:
@mikeansy,
u have practically said and quoted every nigerian's view on CBN except mine.
in all, their views support the action of your soludo and this same mass support your soludo had during the opinion polls in anambra until the real election proved u and your partners wrong.
the issue of soludo under obasanjo does not have theories that are far from us.
look at these issues and prove me wrong;
1. official and (illegal)legal banking prostitution. this took to the high in our banking sector in order for the banks to meet up the targets.
2. loots and looting - under obasanjo's regime, this bank consolidation which made the banks to paste notice of maximum deposits on a transaction in our banks were just mere write ups as no body was invited to explain his/her deposit in any of our banks and thereby created the widest rooms for our God forsaken politicians to loot us to death.
3. the emergence of sanusi exposed issues that had been in place even during the much hyped soludo/ribadu war on corruption.
4.the immediate decission and annointment of soludo as the pdp candidate in anambra by pdp showed the relationship between these criminal groups
5. apart from calling soludo a fraud which i know before now, what else has sanusi lied about?
6. the initial ideas of banks consolidations were to put an organised system or a way of institutionalising our banks but if we must say the truth or have a chat with a senior banker and find out if any of these banks are institutionalised as claimed. they are all tensed as houses built on sandy soil with the fear of falling any day.
personally, i do not know sanusi or his mission but his tesimonies against soludo and his father(obj) are just the known truths.

what soludo brought then was just a boom in the banking industry which made our banks pay like or  more than the oil companies then but later on, workers became weary of the things to come and we can agree here that the boom has come and gone hence salaries and jobs are no longer secured as they used to be.
stop telling lies jo. am i not nigerian? i don't share his twisted views.

You're in denial angry
In a country of 36 states: the president, finance minister, economic advicer, minister of national planning, the CBN governor, director of customs, NNPC director all come from one state, and you can't see the mafia style government?
The CBN governor should have been called to order a long time ago if he did not belong to that mafia group.
Apparently, you can't even differential personal attack from relevant political comments sad
For the records, President - Katsina; Finance Minister - Kano; Economic Adviser - Katsina; National Planning - Kaduna; CBN Governor - Kano; Customs - Katsina; what does NNPC have to do with this?

Anyways, carry on.

PoliticsNorthern Agenda by prettyG(op): 7:17pm On Feb 16, 2010
I have said it times without number the concept of a Northern Agenda nor domination doesn't exist it is a myth that has been used to checkmate the Nigerian Masses.

The North is the reason Jonathan is acting president.

Many young northerners did not support Yar'Adua's presidency.

The newspapers that championed his exit were anchored by Northerners (Daily Trust and Leadership).

Don't forget Dr. Aliyu Tilde wrote a piece that shook the administration .

The major politicians that championed his exit were Northerners (Buhari, Atiku, Balarabe Musa and etc) They started their protest against the Yaradua Administration long before he left for Jeddah. Their position had been know from the get go.

In the internationl community El- Rufai and Nuhu Ribadu kept the Administration on it's heels. Those guys were the voice of the opposition (are they not Northerners? ).

The Yar'Adua camp did all they could to infiltrate the Army but Dambazzau ordered his troops to the Barracks.

We started hearing the voice of the key politicians (Obasanjo + Tinubu and co) in the South when it was clear that Yar'Adua won't come back.

What of the South-South leaders? Didn't Ibori try to compromise Goodluck's Presidency?

What happened to Guardian and Thisday (Two leading Newspapers owned by the South-South).

PoliticsREPORT: Yar'adua Is Brain-Damaged by prettyG(op): 7:11am On Jan 10, 2010
http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5509847-146/yaradua_is_brain-damaged___.csp

President Umaru Yar'Adua is seriously brain damaged, is not able to recognise anyone, including his wife Turai, and can no longer perform the functions of the office of the president, according to multiple sources who have spoken to NEXT on Sunday.

But this fact, which has left a nation of 150 million people rudderless and its government in disarray, is being concealed from the public through an elaborate scam orchestrated directly and energetically by the First Lady.

Turai Yar'Adua has barred all but two security and one civilian aide, and a legislator from having access to the president in a two-tier power loop of which she is the organising principal. The inner core consists of the president's chief security officer, Mohammed Tilde, and his military ADC, Mustapha Onoedieva; an infantry colonel from Edo State. Through Mrs. Yar'Adua, this small knot works with Shehu Inuwa Imam, a member of the House of Representatives from Katsina State who is the president's childhood friend; Tanimu Yakubu, the president's chief economic adviser; and Sayyadi Abba Ruma, the agriculture minister. She is also aided by Inuwa Baba, the senior private adviser to the president on protocol matters.

I think we produce 11% of US oil. We have enough incentives to make noise for them. This is also just blatantly unfair.

I think the US messed up here. I was watching Red eye yesterday on FOX, and even Bolton the former UN ambassador under Bush disagreed with this completely. He thought it was very stupid. he's a Nigeria expert and actually mentioned the key fact that the guy was radicalized in London, not Nigeria.

Greg Gutfeld agreed with him, and said it is pretty stupid too. Apparently in his opinion, Nigerians love to make money because of the letters he gets and are not terrorists. I think that makes sense. This is the video from Red eye.

Talking rubbish no dey taya you? 11 MW no fit power more than 1500 average US homes.
You are a real bushman. Let us assume that you are correct (but you are not sha). The power consumption in one US home would be a lot more than the power consumption in the average Akwa Ibom home because of all the added devices they have, central heating, central air-conditioning, automated waste disposal, multiple refrigeration, how many homes in Lagos have all of these?
