5columnist: APC; A Breast feeding party (BFP)Hehehehehe this is just the A, before they get to F, we go know |
Twitter Mallam made this comment when he was still in his right senses. Desperation has driven him into another realm. Now he licks the boot of those he once condemned and declared as perpetually unelectable. He isn't strong willed and shifts ground easily for selfish interest. He can't be trusted |
Someone should please tell me, is this forum now operated by opposition elements? There are some thread that ordinarily should make front page, but u don't see them there. Only post that appear to ridicule the govt, or critical of govt policies, of project the ruling party as being in crisis, those are the thread that adorn the front page. The thread on internal crisis in APC (Ekiti to be precise) has been suppressed since yesterday Even when it has continued to generate reactions. Am now beginning to believe what people are saying. This is a forum that should be moderated by objective people, with neutral minds. It is funny that these same people are the ones clamouring for change. Prejudiced minds hardly propagate meaningful change. |
The moderators will never take this to the front page. APC people |
Peinstein: I gues African Development bank was also sponsored by APC, while Amnesty International report was sponsored by PDP. I can't remember the time, but it has been quite long when I first read a foreign article where it asserted african leaders are always quick to blame the opposition for their failures. What surprises me is how this theory plays itself out all around african politics. If this is your own form of 'thinking outside the box', then you need to think deeper.Let's not forget that a United Nation body recently gave the same Jonathan award for reducing poverty and hunger. That MDG has also rated him high. Why are people not making reference to these. They associate themselves rather with negative reports cos they serve their interest. Not too good for people that are in dire need of development. |
Welcome development. I still believe in the Nigerian army. The support they are enjoying from the youth is commendable too. We must pray for them. God bless Nigeria |
This is just shameful. Prelude to what we shall see when they finally organise their national convention or evn to share proceed from the sale of expression forms. I d laf for nembe language |
ACN, CPC hold separate APC rallies in Ekiti By Wale Odunsi on August 14, 2013 Tweet Pin It The newly registered All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ekiti state, has kicked off on a wrong foot as merging parties held separate rally while marking the presence of the party in the state. But the APC on Tuesday faulted decision of the Congress for Progressive Change(CPC) to stay away from the flag-off of the party which held in Ado-Ekiti, state capital. The event took place on Monday. The APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Mr Tunde Adeleke, while reacting, stated that the action of the CPC members showed that they were being used by the opposition. According to him, the CPC and the All Nigeria Peoples Party, were adequately informed of the date as they actively took part in the process that led to the take-off of new party in the state. The ACN led by its Chairman, Chief Jide Awe, Governor Kayode Fayemi, held their event at the new-look state secretariat of the party, while members of the CPC held theirs at the Basiri council secretariat of the party, also in Ado-Ekiti. Speaking with journalists on why CPC members boycotted the ACN-organised rally, the CPC Chairman in the State, Mr Babatunde Ajayi, alleged that members of his party were sidelined by the leadership of the ACN during preparations for the event. But Adeleke punctured his claim, describing the action as unfortunate. “I am aware that the leaders of the ANPP and CPC met with our chairman and other executives in Ado Ekiti on the planned rally, because our leaders are interested in full harmonization of the merger in Ekiti so that the party can take off on a solid footing, he said. “During the meeting, they reached some agreements among which include that our secretariat be the Secretariat of the APC. In fact, they agreed to all the proposals brought before them by our leaders. “We gave them the date and the venue of the rally . With all these, I don’t know how they were neglected or sidelined. “Despite the fact that they were aware of the preparation, ACN did not collect a dime from them to organize the rally. All we expected from them is to attend. But our fear is that, they may be up to something and it will be highly unfortunate if that happens”. He however assured that all differences would be addressed and resolved by the party leaders in due course. http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/08/14/acn-cpc-hold-separate-apc-rallies-in-ekiti/ |
I just read that ASUU has rejected the 100 billion naira offered by the FG. They are demanding for 400 billion. Hmmmmmmm God help us |
Jonathan, Amaechi, five Governors in peace talks By Wale Odunsi on August 13, 2013 Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Rotimi Amaechi alongside five governors late last night held a closed-door meeting with President Jonathan at the State House in Abuja. Other governors at the meeting were Governors Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso (Kano), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa) and Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara). Four of the governors have been making consultations with former national leaders and influential PDP politicians. Details of the discussion have been kept under wraps, as both the presidency as well as governors have refused to give out any information. The meeting is however believed to be some of the several ways to end the ongoing disagreement between the governors and the president. A source close to one of the governors informed DailyPost that part of the agreements at the parley was that Amaechi and his aides desist from harsh statements that could further worsen the political crisis in Rivers state. They also tabled some demands to the president, including having control of state chapters of the parties in their respective states. “The meeting is to be continued. It is meant to amicably resolve varying issues threatening the unity of the party especially where there a two factions of the NGF.” our source added. http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/08/13/jonathan-amaechi-five-governors-in-peace-talks/?utm_source=&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=jonathan-amaechi-five-governors-in-peace-talks |

Police ignore woman trapped under trailer 2013-04-12 23:00:55 A middle-aged woman, Ifeoma Oraka, who was hit by a trailer and got trapped under the vehicle on Friday morning at Second Rainbow Bus Stop, on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, was allegedly ignored by policemen at the scene. The incident, our correspondent learnt, happened in the front of a police station and in the presence of some policemen. An eyewitness told Saturday PUNCH that the incident happened around 10 am as the woman stood at the bus stop waiting to board a bus. The eyewitness, who identified himself simply as Chibuzor, said, "I was on my way to work when I got to the bus stop and saw a lot of people gathered. I learnt that the trailer had a failed break and hit a bus the woman was about to board. "Many people stood there looking at her under the trailer apparently thinking she was dead because the trailer had crushed her legs. Policemen stood all around too controlling the traffic, which I did not think was the most important think at the time. "I talked to a taxi driver who agreed to take the woman to the hospital. To ensure that she got prompt attention at the hospital, I approached the policemen to at least follow us to the hospital but they shouted at me to get away." Chibuzor said even though the woman had to be dragged from under the trailer half-dead, the policemen showed no sympathy. He said they were only concerned about impounding the two buses that were also involved in the accident. Our correspondent learnt that the woman was rushed to Gbagada General Hospital, where she was given first aid treatment and later referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital for intensive treatment. But the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ngozi Braide, has maintained that the victim could not have been ignored by policemen. "I was not there but I can tell you that the report that policemen were around but did nothing to help the woman is a lie. Police can never do that," she said. http://mobile.punchng.com/output.php?link=http://www.punchng.com/news/police-ignore-woman-trapped-under-trailer/ |
What a kind hearted president. Just hope they cash in on this gentleman's humane character and have some sense. No aboki should blame us for what will befall them afterward. For the northern elders, this is what they've always wanted, let's see how far they can go. The sultan, buhari, elrufai, NGF, ACF etc we are waiting, the ball is in ur court |

Bakare also said there is nothing progressive about APC, that the group is a bunch of rogues. killer punch |
Fiery and controversial minister, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has deepened the controversy on the opposition mega party, the All Progressive Congress, saying that it is not a party. On an interview on Channels TV today Bakare said as follows "If APC is a party today show me their headquarters, manifesto, constitution...it is not yet formed. There's no certificate" It will be recalled that the birth of the new party which is meant to be a grand opposition alliance amongst the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) the All Nigerian People's Party (ANPP) and a faction of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has been mired in controversy. Before the so called APC had registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), it went on a media jamboree while unknown to it two groups had already approached the INEC with similar names for registration as APC. The ensuing melee has ensured that the name APC is forever associated with controversy which calls into question whether or not the acronym can be an asset for the opposition parties. http://www.naijapundit.com/news/bakare-disses-apc-says-it-is-not-a-party |
An Assessment from a confused man. That means they collectively failed. If he had performed well as a minister, then Obasanjo would have been the best. And he is shamelessly saying it. In his book, he confessed that he was the defecto vice president, that Obj trusted him so much that he was being entrusted with many responsibilities, if this was the case, then he contributed to his failure by abusing opportunities to improve the lives of Nigerians. Foolish man |

· Federal Operatives arrived Kano on 9th of June, 2012, raided the house of Abubakar Lawal only to be told that he was arrested by Rejiyer/Remo Police Station on the 31st of May, 2012 and handed over to Director, State Security Services Kano. · Police Investigators requested for lawal Abubakar from the Department of State Services, Benin City but no response (See Document No 5 in Appendix These people are clowns. Whose responsibility is it to investigate a murder case that they would make an arrest in the course of an investigation and handover the suspect to the SSS? Is the SSS a detention camp? I recall that the SSS said they made the arrest and recovered items belonging to the deceased and after investigation and interrogation, handedover the suspects to the police. Also, how can they claim repeatedly that mrs Ugolor identified the suspects they arrested since the incident happened in the dark? Why was the DIG that appeared before the House committee giving conflicting reports? Why was the police giving us different accounts after the incidents? What now happens to the report that the suspects paraded by the police were suspects already in police custody? And that the weapons police allegedly recovered had earlier been entered in police registry, meaning that they were not recovered? The police force is just a joke. This story tells us nothing otherthan a revelation of inefficiency. |
The military and the SSS deserves commendation. Weldone boys |
Fools blaming Gej and calling for amnesty for terrorist. |
drnoel: simple answer to ur question is to look at the example of OBJ and GEJ.....I belive now u know the abswer to your question..We don't know the answer, tell us |
He will go back to Twitter Party. He functions better from there. |
Simple registration, they cannot. They are busy sharing offices. One of the definitive characteristics of a group destined to fail. Moreover, Pastor Bakare has said the merger is made up of bunch of rogues, nigerians don't want them |
If the project had room for stealing, they would have since executed it. The IGP and Co just finished looting the sum of N2bn. The police game took place becos he budgeted 2bn for it. 2bn for games and modern facilities are lacking? Police colleges in deplorable state. DPO scaling fence at the sound of a gun. I mean, these guys are jokers. Bunch of clowns. They constitute 80% of our wahala |
A man who clears grasses in a single street in Abuja, measuring about 5 kilometer using N2.1 bn is certainly not a sincere man committed to national development. He is simply a thief. Don't forget how he revoked land and reawarded same to his family members, and claiming defensively that hey are Nigerians too. He is shouting becos he was left out http://nm.onlinenigeria.com/templates/?a=12052 |

cescadove: HE SOUNDS SINCERE AND FEARLESS !Evading question isn't a characteristic if soundness. What did he say about his reported declaration that Buhari remains perpetually unelectable. What did he say about his dramatic turn against Obj? His contradiction on his going back to school, accepting Yar'adua offer on partime, and then turning his offer down. Why did he deny his earlier claim that he was the defecto second in command? This man is a shameless liar, that's all |
He goofed. Evade sensitive questions. Ended up revealing his beef with govt. against Obj, he is angry that he wasn't made the president. For Yar'adua, he claims pressing corruption charges against him, knowing that we're form the same region was wrong. His beef with Gej is that Jona hasn't withdrawn the corruption charges. He stylishly refused to comment on sustained romance with Buhari, having reportedly told Nigerians that the man remain perpetually unelectable. He failed |
