My dear, I have nothing against Muslims. I only pray that they receive Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. However, when it comes to violence committed in the name of Islam, one can almost always attribute it to the Quran. Many also have committed crime, very evil crime for that matter, like the one we're talking about in the name of Christianity.

But while Christians can clearly make a break from the Old Testament, and disclaim such acts, which was according to the bible, a shadow of things to come in the New testament, Muslims can not, or say, do not have a break from the violence clearly encouraged in thier Quran.

For instance, in the bible, Moses in the old testament encouraged an eye for an eye, and a tooth for tooth. But in the New Testament, Jesus set that aside and rather encouraged forgiveness up to seventy times seven a day!. Thus making a complete shift from the old practice. This is grace in action through Jesus Christ.

But there's no such thing in Islam. No one has come to set aside child molestation, holy War against infidels, wife beating, lying to defend the faith (Islam) among many other things. With that now, will you blame anybody who commit such crimes in the name of Islam?. What passage or passages can you point to disuade such a person?. Without a break then, it's clear that the religion as stipulated by Quran, encourages violence especially against people of divergent faith and also to people with similar faith as can be seen with Sunni and Shiite clashes.

True freedom is in Christ Jesus alone. Put sentiments aside and look objectively, you'll see the difference is very clear.
