OneJ:May God forgive you. Thank God many persons even from your fold can now see the kind of lies and false teachings you guys peddle around in the NE of Watch Tower. If you chose to remain in that cult, that's your business. And let me tell you, you can not stampede me into doing your biding alright?. Go and answer the simple questions I asked you first, then we can discuss this issues. Is that hard to do?. |
budaatum:Thank you too. The ultimate destiny of every man is SUPPOSED to be like Jesus Christ. That's God's desire, but He doesn't force anybody to that. Regardless of what you choose to believe or take, there is such a thing as the will of God. God's will most times runs contrary to our own will. Some times the will of God doesn't appear to make sense to our human reasoning until we get to the end of that particular matter. It was God's will for Jesus Christ to die for all man kind. Others will argue that God should have just merely accepted repentance as the condition. Remember Jesus's prayer when he was about to be crucified, asking if it was possible for the cup to pass away?. Then the passage I gave you earlier in Revelation, also points to the fact that God's way is different from our way. And to walk in God's way, you have to be on the same page. That is Spiritual page and frequency. Walking in spirit does not mean that you will resign your human talents and faculties. But these faculties are guided and directed by the principles of the of God. So in business, in marriage, in career decisions etc, we use our thinking faculties, but should be guided by Godly spiritual principles. Don't forget that God made these faculties and gave them to us. The danger however, is to depend on them alone!. If that is done, we will surely err. That's the point, hence my saying using them alone is carnality. God didn't make us as robots, He gave us reasoning abilities, choices, feelings, etc. But these all must be guided by His set principles if we must please Him. To please God is to choose life, doing otherwise is death. |
What a funny post. Who was the artist then to draw them?. I think these are the artist imagination. I don't think God said to the artist, draw belly buttons. Please, the bible is real, authentic and factual. All these attempts at discrediting it won't amount to anything. No body, no angel or demon, can undo, undermine and destroy the word of God!. It will be as it is forever. Believe it, obey it and be saved, refuse it, argue with it, and end up confused, misdirected and lost. It is our compass. Belly button is not the issue. Salvation from sin through Jesus is. The body with the belly button will perish but what happens to the soul, that should be the focus. Jesus Christ is the way. |
Jehovah witness is anti Christian in practice. The origin and foundation is faulty. The shocking thing to me is the fact that, the adherent especially the ones here in nairaland, WI go any length including twisting and denying clear truth all in an attempt to defend a lie. Come out from that cult now before it's too late. Eckanka and Jehovah witness are on the same page. May God save these precious souls. |
Most of the practices of Catholics are against clear bible principles. Doing such things is acting against God's commandment. Why bow down to a molded sculptor of Mary and Jesus Christ, when God clearly warned against that?. Why pray through an agents, when we already have an high priest in Jesus Christ?. By doing so, are you not saying in essence that Jesus doesn't care?. Catholics and Catholicism have a form of godliness but dispise the power thereof. How do Catholics respond to the Holy Spirit?. Today, the Pope has become what Peter in the bible was not. A god, unquestionable and unmistakable. Who said so, Apostle Paul openly rebuked Peter in their time, but here, the Pope is Lord. There's is a big deception in Catholicism. I mean no offence to Catholics, but the truth most be said. |
CAPSLOCKED:I forgive you. I will recommend you to see the Savior Jesus Christ urgently, so that He can remove this bitterness and hurt you have inside. I am not your problem at all. I only offer you help by pointing out the direction for you. You have the right of refusal. So please be civil and human, if you think you are. Once again as someone who cares for your soul, I advice you to urgently seek the Lords mercy and pardon, so that you can be saved. Do not realise your mistake rather too late a time. May God save your soul. |
CAPSLOCKED:Hahaha... That's right my dear. But can I ask you a question? Your Quran, referred you to the bible to seek the truth, so why don't you obey it?. Doesn't that alone tell you something about the bible and my point of view? The author of Quran is Mohammed, and he is dead and buried, not knowing what will become of him either according to his own account, how then can you be sure of your own fate, seeing that the main guy, is not even sure of himself? But Jesus Christ is the author of life and of Christianity! Not only did the Bible talk about Him, your Quran also gave him credence more than it did your Mohammed, and your Quran also said, He, Jesus Christ will return again, once again giving proof of our testimony that Jesus Christ is alive!. Giving just this senarious, doesn't it suffice to say that Christianity has the truth?. Common sense will tell a wise man to take Christianity and it's standard serious because in the mouth of two witnesses, every word is established. O man, you are inexcusable. But Jesus Christ live s and will accept all who come to Him. The truth can never be buried! |
OneJ:My dear, can you stop wasting your time by posting these things? It's like you like quarrel and fights and arguments. Just answer those simple questions let's have a base to treat other matters, but you have so far refused to do that. Rather, you have elected to dodge them like a plague. But I won't have non of that. When you're ready, I'm ready. You just don't want to give up the lies of Watch Tower. May God save your soul. |
joseph1013:Christianity as explained by the scriptures is not a religion. First of all, what is religion?. Did you know how the name Christianity came about?. Did you know that non Christians coined that name for the early followers of Christ?. What religion did Adam practice in the garden as he and Eve related with God? What Jesus Christ came to do was in essence to restore that same relationship which man lost when Adam fell. If you can put a name to that relationship, if that was a religion, then Christianity is, otherwise it is not. So please don't generalise all worship of God as religion, that's man's definition, and it has sting and torns in it. Over the years, the enemy has tried to infiltrate the fold of Christians in other to corrupt the truth and way of practice, like we are seeing today. Otherwise tell me, why should we have up to 3,000 creeds all laying claim to the same thing. It's a trick of the devil to deceive men. The more the options in an objective type question, the more prone to error an ignorant student become. |

The more the options in an objective type question, the more prone to error an ignorant student become. Sorry, to tell you this. In heaven and on earth, I can not be ignored!. Not because of me, but because of who I believe in and who is with me. It's not man know man, but man know God. Jesus Christ is my pride, I cannot be ignored ![]() |
budaatum:To be cannaly minded is to look, approach and explain things with the physical sense and reasoning alone!. To be spiritually minded, is to look, approach and explain things mostly from the spiritual perspective. For instance, what is your approach to wealth?. Is your definition of wealth, the definition of God about wealth?. Now, look at this passage below. Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy unclothedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. From the above passage, the issue was as a result of approach and definition. Whereas the subject said he is rich and wealthy, Jesus said, he was poor and blind and necked. It's only a man who walks in the spirit, that can approach life from the perspective of God. So to be carnally minded like the case from the passage above, will lead to eternal separation from God, which is death. The canal man will say I'm rich and wealthy, I don't need God for anything, I'm doing just fine. Whereas, before God, he is lost and necked. May God deliver His people from carnality. |
1Sharon:Oh boy!, understand the english. It's futuristic!, I didn't say you blamed anybody. It's like saying, tell me who to marry because I can't seem to find a good girl or a good man, and when asked why, you say because they're all mad and stupid. That can't be accepted because there are alot of good ladies and gentle men around. You look out and decide for yourself. My pick for you, may not be your delight. If that happens and issues arise tomorrow, as is the case with human relationships, you will quickly blame me, just as Adam blamed God. So, I said, you look out for yourself and choose, and I said there are many to choose from in the midst of the bad eggs. May God guide you because you surely need a mentor. |
JeromeBlack:Hmm...If I tell you yes now, you will mock and sneer. But because you haven't seen Him physically like Thomas, that's why you doubt His existence, right?. I wonder if you believe you have a mind, have you ever seen your mind, but you believe it. Now to your question, God is real, Jesus Christ is real and the Holy Spirit is real!. I do not believe in God sorly because some persons in clerical collar told me so, I do because, I as a person AFTER I believed the report of the bible and the messengers of God, did have a personal encounters with God, that have continued till now. God is real, talks with us, guides us, warns and delivers us from danger. Most importantly, He forgives us our sins and puts us right. A man who haven't had an encounter with God can not understand just how sweet knowing and walking with God can be. The sweetest moments with Him is in the place of private worship and prayers. You start, you just don't want to go or stop, such sweetness you never experience anywhere else, it just flows unending. And when you do get up, you rise with ideas that leave people amazed at you, you rise with solutions and guidance for that day. I really feel for those who still doubt this God. The issue is, you can never bring Him to act on your own terms. It's believe and you will receive, see and have. But we tend to want to see and touch first before we believe, now that's the problem. God is a person, He can be your personal friend and person, a Father like no other to you, if only you will accept Him as one. Jesus lives you. |
OneJ:I totally disagree with you!. Discipher this statement by Jesus Christ in Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Just use your primary school sense and objectively look at that verse. Do not twist the meaning, you will see the truth and answer, if only you will be honest. How else can a man not lose his soul, if it is only the body like you said, do we all not die and rot away?. The address by Jesus Christ clearly suggest that the personality of man called soul is unique and distinct though being a part of the man. May God open your understanding. |
Peacefullove:Can you be honourable enough to stop lying publicly?. When did you answer my questions. You simply are going through self deceit. |
joseph1013:My dear, Christianity is not a religion. Religion is man made. God has called us, men to have a personal relationship with Him. Please stop misinterpreting the two. Thank you. |
budaatum:To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace!. Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: Let God be true and Everyman a liar! |
1Sharon:Don't you know what is good?. Why should you blame some else?. What Jesus said is, by there fruit you shall know them. |
hahn:But is it wise to resort to gibberish, isn't that itself dumb?. If you say there are no good pastors, that also means there are no good people, not even one person, including you. But the truth is, there are many good Christians and pastors, because God keeps such by Himself, else the whole world would have collapsed. Be thankful that we have faithful Christians praying all over the world. Repent and be saved. |
CAPSLOCKED: Tell me, foes the truth hurt?. The truth may hurt you, shake you and even destabilize you before it heals and position you. If you're honest with yourself, you will cherish the truth. |
JeromeBlack:May God have mercy on you. Look at how ungrateful you are?. Christianity is not the problem, neither is it your problem. Christianity is not a religion. Yes, it's true some con men have taken advantage of the liberty Jesus Christ brought to us to deceive others, the very thing He warned us against. It is absolutely disrespectful for you to make such a foolish statement against God. I respect the patience and love of God, otherwise you won't live a day more!. It is foolishness to joke about what you don't know. Even Satan himself will not try the nonsense you said. Note, if God is what you said, you do not exist!. F you exist, then God is wiser than all because the small brain and sense with which you use to attack His majesty, was given you by him. Who then needs who?. Repent from this madness!. |
OneJ:My dear there is no contradiction any where accept the ones you people have manufactured. You guys should answer my questions first, otherwise no point of mine will make any sense. Let's establish the bases first. God is one person manifested in three: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It's self deceit trying to contradict it. The whole attack is against the person of Jesus Christ simple. You must be born again!. |
CAPSLOCKED:The only contradiction in the bible is the one made in your mind. For the bible has non. Go back and read the post again, and see what Jeconia did afterwards. God forgives when men repent and seek Him, but that doesn't make Him a man who changes like chameleon. Excuse me, does it matter if the answer is given by someone across the ocean. Whether white or black, we are made by God and one family in Christ. You can never discredit the authenticity of Jesus Christ saving grace. God is wiser than you. If this is what makes you doubt Jesus Christ, then you have absolutely no case. Joseph was a foster father to Jesus at birth!. No human factor was responsible for his conception, had that happened, then He would have been disqualified. As a matter of fact, this case you have brought up, is a very good proof that Jesus Christ had absolutely no issue to discredit him. Satan has tried to shoot it down but to no avail, now he is comingg up with a failed excuse. Go and research about Jeconia, and see what happened to Him after that curse. You clearly are interpreting the bible with bias. Satan is a liar, no amount of lies and logic will undermine the finished work of grace. Whoever believes will be saved, whoever thinks he knows more than God, and can argue with Him, is on his/her own. The genealogy of Jesus Christ from both Mary's side and Joseph's side is not a contradiction. But a perfect way of God showing to the shame of Satan, His victory and unlimitedness. Satan, after God made a promise to Abraham to give to his decendants the land of Canaan, began to pollute the blood line of the men and women in that location, so that whoever the Savior will be, will have a polluted blood line that will disqualify him. Apart from God warning the Israelites not to intermarry with these people, He went all the way to preserving the lineage of Jesus Christ. By showing the genealogy, God made it clear for all to see that if He had wanted to use human elements alone, He would have, despite the effort of the devil. But sin is what must be guarded against, and that He also successfully did. CAPSLOCKED, you must be very careful, it will look so real in your eyes, the excuses may look so plausible and authentic, but you must watch out for your soul. This thing is not about religion. Satan is smart and intelligent, he can fool anybody. Don't let him eceive you. Jesus Christ is real. He is the ONLY saviour!. |
Peacefullove:Sorry bro, but you failed to to make absolutely no sense. Simply because the bible said something different from the lies you saying here. Once again, I ask you to answer the questions I asked you. Stop pretending and dodging them. How long will you continue to live in denial?. |
LordReed:Oh sorry!, all you need is a personal encounter with this Jesus Christ, and your life will never remain the same. I think you see the bible as a book of mere legend or history of dead men. Far from that!. How can you really explain what you know that you know, but don't have the means if explaining it?. It sounds stupid for me, and African, a Nigerian for that matter, to believe in someone who was born in Israel some years ago, who was reported to have been dead and risen again, and was said to have gone into heaven!. See, I will be frank with you, it sounds stupid and foolish, but dear, that us what God used to bring salvation to all mankind. That mystery cannot be expounded to you if you try to use human understanding to decode it. All you need to do, is to go to God in humility and sincerity, and really ask Him to show you the way, like He did to Saul who later became Paul. You see, Paul was a learned laywer, ordinarily the apostles can not stand him in argument about God. By logic and reasoning, Saul was very correct, but when he encountered Jesus Christ along the way, he realised he was all along working against God. My dear, as stupid as the while bible story may sound in the ear, it is very real and accurate. One truth is, the more you draw close to God, the more of Himself He reveals to you, no one can know all if Him, neither can you explain Him from the outside, that's not possible. You can't just read the bible and understand it, what you think you understand will be flowed. It begins with a genuine and sincere desire for God through Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. My dear, what I now know goes beyond what my pastor said, or what one man of God said, I know this fora personal knowing that God exist and that the bible is real. Otherwise, I would have been dead long ago, because a time came when all I could depend on to survive was the word of God, if it were fake or made up, ah, I would have long died. The bible is not a book of comical stories made up by someone. It's real and effective. It is God's manual for the Salvation of all mankind. Shalom |
hahn:As long as God can see them, you don't have any excuse. The diligent will see them. Shalom. |
HappyPagan:Really, all if these makes sense to you?. Is alright!. So with all your logic and common sense, all you can reason out is to defend the devil and hate God?. This is very disappointing. Seriously, you're siding with Satan against God?. Well the way that leads to destruction is often if not always garnished with flowers and roses, but the end is an endless ditch. Be very careful!. The devil is a liar, a thief and a deceiverb. He decieved Eve, and by that disobedience by Adam and Eve, sin and death came into the world with its attendant misfortune. Stop defending the lair!. Now using common sense and logic, can you please tell me who created the world and the universe, please don't tell me big bang, otherwise, tell me how order can come out of caps of it's own accord and establish laws. Do well to explain with your logic and reason. Yes, lest I forget, the life you have now is not your own, that's why it will leave you someday. Be wise about how you use it. It us a trust |
JeromeBlack:Excuse me, who is responsible for that?, God?. You can't be serious!. So all I have said so far doesn't make sense to you?. You can't be blaming God for the wrong things going on in the world!. We have babalawos, Juju priests, charmers, magicians and scammers who parade around as men of God. The accuracy of their predictions and prophecies, and the fact that signs and wonders happen in their meetings does not guarantee that they are from God and for God. Moses's rode turned to snake by the power of God, so also the rod of pharaoh's magicians, but of cause the power of God overcame theirs. That's what is happening today too. If you allow what these people are doing to come between you and God, such that you now start seeing God as an indifferent person who doesn't care about us, then I can tell you that the devil would have succeeded in separating you from your maker. I wish God would open your eyes for just few minutes so that you can see what it takes to keep men alive on earth. I assure you that, you will constantly be thanking God!. Sin gives Satan power over us, and God respects our choices, He never will force you. My dear, even in the middle of tragedy, God is still faithful. Many people will apologies to God on the final day when they finally realise that some of the things that God allowed to happen, which didn't go down well with them, were actually for their own good. But sicknesses and diseases and death and destruction and poverty and conflict are not God's makin, Sin is!, repent and receive Jesus Christ, so you can truly Live. If you want God to help you, it must be in His own terms not yours, you must sincerely and genuinely repent and come to Him, He doesn't need us, but we need Him!, how do you treat someone like that, who is absolutely indispensable, someone who literally holds your life, yet chooses not to force you. He wants to restore all things, but you must decide. |
sonmvayina:CAPSLOCKED Well, I will just copy and paste a very good explanation of what played out in that verse. Question: "What is the curse of Jeconiah?" Answer: Jeconiah, also called “Jehoiachin” (1 Chronicles 3:16, NIV) and “Coniah” (Jeremiah 22:24), was a king of Judah who was deported as part of the Babylonian captivity (Esther 2:6; 1 Chronicles 3:17). He is also listed in the genealogy of Jesus, in Joseph’s family line (Matthew 1:12). The curse of Jeconiah is found in Jeremiah 22. First, the LORD likens the king to a signet ring on God’s hand—a ring that God will pull off (verse 24). Then, God pronounces a curse: “Record this man as if childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will prosper, none will sit on the throne of David or rule anymore in Judah” (verse 30). The problem is that the curse of Jeconiah seems to invalidate Jesus’ right to the throne of David. The Davidic Covenant promised that the Messiah, the “Son of David,” would reign forever on Jerusalem’s throne (1 Chronicles 17:11-14). If Jesus is a descendant of Jeconiah, then how can He be the Messiah, since the curse bars any of Jeconiah’s descendants from assuming David’s throne? There are three possible solutions to this difficulty. First, the “offspring” of Jeconiah mentioned in the curse could be a limited reference to the king’s own children—his immediate offspring, in other words. On a related note, the phrase “in his lifetime” could apply to the entire verse. The curse would only be in force while the king lived. This is exactly what happened, as Jeconiah was not successful as a king (he only reigned for three months before he surrendered to Nebuchadnezzar’s forces), and none of his sons (he had seven of them, 1 Chronicles 3:17–18) reigned over Judah. A second solution concerns the virgin birth. Jesus only had one human parent, Mary. His mother was of David’s line, but not through Jeconiah (Luke 3:31). Joseph was Jesus’ legal father, but not His physical one. Thus, Jesus was of royal blood through Mary, but the curse of Jeconiah stopped with Joseph and was not passed on to Jesus. A third possible solution is that God reversed the curse on Jeconiah’s family. This is hinted at by the prophet Haggai, who told Zerubbabel, Jeconiah’s grandson, that God would make him a “signet ring” on God’s hand (Haggai 2:23). Zerubbabel was blessed by God as the governor of Judea, and he prospered in that role when the Jewish exiles returned to Jerusalem. The “signet ring” imagery of Jeconiah’s curse is repeated in Zerubbabel’s blessing, which must be more than coincidence. Several rabbinic sources teach that Jeconiah repented in Babylon and that God forgave him and lifted the curse. Recommended Resources: The Moody Handbook of Theology by Paul Enns |
Drabeey:Jesus is God!. He is a unique person of the Godhead or trinity. Everything Jesus Christ did while He was here on earth, He did for our example, otherwise how could we have learned?. He also did everything not to glorify the flesh or even Himself. But the bible gave us several scriptures to authenticate who Jesus really is: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. |
