We're all here for God first before anybody.

The question you need to ask yourself is, does God like it that way or does He not?. Does it glorify Him or not?. After all, the body they are putting the clothes on, is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

It's very clear that the writers of the bible do NOT know what the stars are. They thought the stars were just tiny dots in the sky. The stated in many places that the stars will fall into the earth.

Example :

Rev 6:13 - And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Rev 6:15 - And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Here in Revelations it's talks about the stars of the heaven falling into the earth and people going around to hide. How can stars fall into the earth and people will go out and be hiding? Stars ooo, all of which are many many thousand of times bigger than the earth .

How do you think the ancients interpreted meteorites and fireballs. They are obviously glowing balls like the one which fell in Russia recently. By the Spirit of God, these men were also clearly able to describe a nuclear attack against the enemies of Israel but they could only describe it not knowing what it really is.

Look very well at Revelation 12:4. Do you think that verse is literal?. A dragon literally waiting for a single woman to give birth?.

But in the end, both the Sun and the stars will withdraw/stop shinning. Will they die and explode at supernova to create massive quantity of meteorites?, I can't tell. The only visible light in space amidst the shakens will be fire balls/meteorites falling to the earth. But God promised also to destroy/roll away the current cosmic system and create new ones.

When reading the scriptures, I think we need the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to differentiate between literal and non literal text.

The scar on Jesus body is like a sticker one can peel off, yet it is very real. I said, He retains it for our testimony. He doesn't have to prove anything to anybody. He's God and sovereign ruler of the Universe. He owes no body any explanations. But for our victory and testimony He keeps it.

Whenever a believer quotes that scripture, the Lord Jesus shows the evidence to back it up and to shut up Satan from arguing because he is the accuser of the brethren, always looking for a way to discredit anything that will bless and favour us.

After the work of grace is done Jesus will remove that scar. It does not affect His divinity in anyway. It is not a dishonor, rather, it is our victory and evidence and triumphs over Satan.

If I'm sick today, all I need do, is reffer Satan to that scar and Jesus will show it, case closed! I have my victory!. But if it doesn't exist, the devil stands to argue with me and tries to deceive and harass me.

That scar is an honour and a sign of victory. Warriors and champions are proud to display theirs.But Jesus Christ displays it for our own good. The devil hates to see it. OP, let me ask you this one question. Between the Son of God who is the very God himself and a human prophet Mohammed, who will you follow or believe?. Jesus came, gave us the word of God, died for us and rose again, given us an assurance of resurrection after death. Then came Mohammed with his own message, died and remains dead, and no one knows his fate as per his eternal destination (hell or heaven). Why did Mohammed come?. The Holy Spirit can reveal anything to God's children provided it will bring glory to God. Anything outside of that is not from Him. So, the question will be, how does this or how will this revelation of football outcome glorify God?. God does not support gambling!.

Let no one be fooled by these lies camouflaged by mesmerizing proverbs, ideas, fantasies etc. Don't forget that Lucifer was a wise and beautiful angel before he fell and became Satan, he however retains his wisdom still. So don't be moved by his wisdom, no, not at all. Resist him!.

1/3 of angels fell victim to 'sweet' lies of Lucifer (Satan) don't think you can just stand him. Jesus Christ is our anchor and salvation. Our power and wisdom is in Christ Jesus.

I was discussing the reliability of the Bible with a Christian the other day and heard that old chestnut:

Nearly all of the disciples went to their death, unwilling to recant their beliefs.
It really sounds like a compelling point. Although loads of people die for their belief in made-up stories even today, surely it’s very rare indeed that anyone would willingly die for a story that they had made up themselves. So the testimony of the first disciples, most of whom died for their beliefs, is powerful evidence that these beliefs must have been founded in reality.

I remember making these kinds of arguments myself when I was a Christian. And then one day I was asked an important question. “How do you know?” I realised I had just been repeating reports I had heard from Christian apologists. But no matter, I thought; I’ll just dig up the sources and share them with the doubters. Well, I did quite a bit of searching online and in my apologetics books, and what I found was a bit of a shock. Go on and try it yourself! Where is the evidence to support the claim that the disciples went to their deaths boldly proclaiming the gospel? If there was evidence, the apologists would be trumpeting it at every possible opportunity. But they don’t.

The reports I had heard (and repeated myself) conjured up images of the disciples being captured by the Romans, being told they could live and be set free if only they would admit they had made up the gospel message, but bravely chosing death because they knew it was all true. But where is the evidence for this? Are we really to expect that Nero would gently untie the recanting believer, pat him on the back, and say “There you go, doesn’t that feel better now?”

This claim is made in all kinds of places. Even William Lane Craig brought it up in his debate with Bart Ehrman when he said the following:

The original disciples suddenly came to believe so strongly that God had raised Jesus from the dead that they were willing to die for the truth of that belief.
Ehrman’s response sums the situation up very well:

I hear that claim a lot, but having read every Christian source from the first five hundred years of Christianity, I’d like him to tell us what the piece of evidence is that the disciples died for their belief in the resurrection.
In my opinion, the Ehrman vs Craig exchange is one of the best places to hear both sides of the debate over the historicity of the resurrection. If you want to use this line of apologetics, then please provide some evidence to back up your claim. By doing so, you will be doing a huge favour to the apologetic community which, so far, has not been able to come up with any adequate evidence. If you do not provide any evidence, but still want to insist on using this tactic, then you are just perpetuating unsubstantiated stories, and are guilty of using dishonest tactics. If you need to lie or stretch the truth in order to argue for your position, then what does it say about your position?

Hmm... It seems you're looking for a way to make their testimonies a lie. What if their claims are true, and you don't believe them, what happens?.

A message is a message, it doesn't have to be tampered with just to suit you. If a message is sent to warn you, you have the choice to either accept it or reject it. But that won't affect the consequences that follows as a result of your decision.

Jesus talked about hell more than He talked about heaven to show you how terrible it is and why you shouldn't go there.

If you only hear what you want to hear, then you're not serious about knowing the truth. Sometimes, the truth will hurt you before it heals you.

Heaven is real and hell is real!. Jesus Christ is the way out.
