For Port Harcourt Residents in Rivers State on the 3rd index Case. No need for panic Mingi Hotel, Rumuomasi An old run-down half-star hotel that should be called a guest house instead. But it has 3 floors and over 30rooms A man (hotel manager) who looked after his sick Boss (Hotel Owner) who returned from Abuja in a room in the Hotel. The Boss later died (in the room) and his body was carried by this manager and 2 other Hotel Staff downstairs ,transported in a public transport cab to UPTH morgue So we never confirmed the Boss had it, until his wife from Abuja called us to inform us of the mysterious circumstances of her husband's death and her suspicion. We had to track down this Manager to his village, where he had run to hide, after he fell ill with fever, Catarrh and dry Cough (similar to his Boss) he now got afraid enough to cooperate with us. He was tested last Saturday, his results only came back to us yesterday. We are now testing the Hotel Staff, mortician and morgue attendant as well as looking for the Cab-man. The contacts of the Manager are so many that it's scary PHC COVID19 situation. Be careful guys but don't panic. |

With the rate Kano number is growing, it will overtake Abuja very soon before the week runs out. As for the last two states, those numbers are fake. No covid-19 case in those states. As for people asking why there's no case in South East, just have in mind South East is doing to Nigeria what Africa did to the rest of the world few months back Remember when the rest of the world were asking why no case in Africa |

The Netherlands is the latest country to reject China-made coronavirus testing kits and other protective gear, calling the items substandard and raising serious questions about the quality of the supplies Beijing is selling to the world. The Netherlands joins Spain, Turkey, Georgia, and the Czech Republic in their concerns over masks and test kits. The claims come as the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases surge in the United States and Europe, highlighting the dependence many countries have on Chinese imports. DUTCH PRIME MINISTER WARNS PUBLIC AGAINST SHAKING HANDS- PROMPTLY DOES IT MOMENTS LATER The Dutch health ministry said over the weekend that it was forced to recall 600,000 face masks that were shipped from China on March 21 after they were found to be faulty. Some of the masks failed to fit the mouth properly while others were found to have insufficient filters, the government said. Rick Reichmuth's mission to get masks to health care workers Rick Reichmuth's mission to get masks to health care workers The factory behind the production of Rick's Weatherman rain jacket shifts its focus to making N95 masks for medical workers in need. "Health care workers have been informed and told not to use the masks. Due to the shortages, we can find ourselves in a situation where only protective equipment is available that does not meet the highest standards," the health ministry said in a statement. "This is an issue in all countries." On Monday, the Netherlands said the number of people hospitalized with the coronavirus hit nearly 4,000. Of those, 507 new patients were admitted to the hospital. The number of deaths rose by 93 to 864. Testing in the Netherlands is mostly confined to people with serious symptoms, meaning it's likely the numbers of cases of coronavirus are higher. CORONAVIRUS: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW On March 19, Bruno Bruins, the medical care minister leading the Dutch government's fight against the coronavirus, resigned after collapsing from exhaustion during a parliamentary debate on the pandemic a day earlier. Bruins fell to the floor in parliament while taking questions. Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said it was unclear how long it would take for Bruins to recover, though Bruins vowed to come back as soon as possible. "The nature of this crisis is such that it demands a minister who can be ready to go full throttle immediately," Rutte said during a televised press briefing. DutchNews.nl reported Monday the government will likely extend its social distancing directives past its current April 6 deadline. CHINA CASHES IN OFF CORONAVIRUS, SELLING SPAIN $467 MILLION IN SUPPLIES, SOME OF THEM SUBSTANDARD Last week, Spanish Health Minister Salvador Illa said the country had bought $467 million in medical supplies from China, including 950 ventilators, 5.5 million testing kits, 11 million gloves, and more than half a billion protective face masks. Soon after receiving the supplies, the government announced plans to return 9,000 "quick result" test kits to China, because they were deemed substandard, specifically the sensibility of the test was around 30 percent when it should be higher than 80 percent. WE NEED AFROCENTRIC RESPONSE TO COVID-19. STOP PUNISHING NIGERIANS!! Dear Writers, can you help share this to get to the top before it is too late?? Is Self-Isolation the best for Nigeria and Africa at the moment? Let’s look at its end result. When I listen to Young people that reasons like Seun Kuti, it builds my hope that one day, the narratives will change for good. Sometimes it seems we write or speak more intelligently than our leaders, it is not so because what we know, they equally know? But this is us telling the raw truth they have refused to tell you and will never tell you because they benefit more from shroud politics and fraudulent leadership, which by all means makes them appear unintelligent. And you as a citizen have not helped matters because you appear to be uninformed as to what your rights are and how to demand for it. “The People that created social distancing and self isolation against Covid-19 are the Europeans, because, that is what will work for them after putting one or two comprehensive analysis together. The Chinese didn’t use social distancing and self isolation, they quarantined their people by force, because that is what will work for them at that moment. But not only that, China were building and putting to use new hospitals every 6days, to help get ahead of the virus, because many Chinese didn't have access to healthcare and they understood what needed to be done which will work for them. Their response was completely Chinese and not African or European, they knew what China needed to move China fast out of the mess and that’s what they did. So, when the Virus got to Europe and the Europeans looked at their society and came up with social distancing and self isolation because they understood that that approach is what will help Europeans. Europeans don't have communities that are without water, they don’t have communities without Hospitals, Europeans don't live in face-me-I-face-you-houses, some of the homeless they have, they put them in government reserved shelters. Social distancing and self isolation is completely European and Eurocentric response to Covid-19, it is not Chinese response, it is their own Response. Europe doesn't have slumps like where most people live in Aba, Lagos, Onitsha etc with gutters and shanties here and there. They don't have communities without free water and electricity. Thus, Self Isolation became easy. But People buy water in Africa (Nigeria) to survive, some people don't even have money to buy water. Now the Europeans that asked their people to self isolate, have created different types of funds to put in the pockets of their citizens to sustain them during the Isolation period. But Nigerian medical professionals and politicians are shouting “Self Isolation and social distancing”, how many Nigerians can survive 2weeks without hustling, Without going to the streets to find daily bread? Buy forcing Nigerians to self isolate without putting anything in their pockets, the government is only asking Nigerians to choose between death by Covid or death by hunger. How have they saved Nigerians by this? This is not a response peculiar to our society. You don’t bring an European trained doctor to treat malaria in Nigeria, malaria will kill a lot of people under his watch because he have no such experiences. There’s no mosquito in Europe and so, there are no malaria cases for proper experience. African leaders should be creative and stop the copycat. This is why we have remained slaves to the westerners. Depending on them for everything. But African leaders all over the continent gives themselves the best in this world. They ride in the best cars, they wear the best cloths, they live in the best homes, access the best hospitals in the world, have the best security, send their children to the best schools in the world. They give themselves world class services with our Commonwealth. So, who taught you that you don’t have a right to demand for the best services from them? Who put it in your brains that you don't deserve to ask them for world class services? Who put that in your brain? Is it your pastors, your parents, is it the dormant schools you went to? Guys, remove that shit from your brain. Until the people learn to stand up and demand what’s due for them, nothing will change. This Social distancing and self isolation is not Afrocentric! Is not for Africans and will never work for Africans in this situation should it get out of hands. How are we going to sustain families during this Isolation if the situation gets too tough? This is the window period to think!! Don’t let it hit us before we plan for it. America with the lowest level of poverty is giving each adult a thousand dollars, (N380,000) but you are comfortable Isolating without food. Desperate situations requires desperate measures.” If you like share this till it gets attention, if you don’t like, sit back and wait. Two months in your room, we will know how far. |

Coronavirus was first reported in Nigeria before South Africa, but they have higher case than Nigeria opera.com Mar 11, 2020 3:12 PM The case of coronavirus was first reported in Nigeria before South Africa, but as of today, South Africa has higher infection cases than Nigeria. Six new cases of the virus has been confirmed by the South Africa Health Ministry; bringing the total to 13. The patients which are currently infected are: 1. A 33-year-old female that had travelled to Italy and returned on 1 March 2. A couple - a 34-year-old and a 33-year-old - who travelled to Germany and returned on 9 March 3. A 57-year-old who travelled to Austria and Italy and returned on 8 March 4. A 40-year-old who travelled to Portugal and returned on 7 March 5. A 36-year-old who travelled to multiple countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Turkey. He returned on 9 March. This is coming few weeks when some unpatriotic South Africans thought that the virus was going to spread real fast in Nigeria. The major cause of the fast spreading of the coronavirus is in countries like South Africa and Iran is carelessness and unbelieve. Why carelessness contributes to the spread of the virus is that, when health authorities advice the public on precautions, they take it for granted. They use common sense which is not common to analyse the situation. For instance, World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) advised people to be careful with the way they handle money, because it could serve as a means of infection, but some will still be careless with the way they handle cash. According to report, The World Health Organisation (WHO) advised people to use contactless technology instead of cash as banknotes may be spreading coronavirus. The world health organisation advised people to use contactless payments where possible and stop using cash because of the danger of spreading coronavirus; and to always wash their hands after handling cash which Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) also affirmed. According to report, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Tuesday advised Nigerians to adopt alternative payment methods like electronic transfers to avoid the spread of Coronavirus. The CBN Director of Corporate Communications, Mr Isaac Okoroafor, gave the advice in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos. This careful method which World Health Organisation and Central Bank of Nigeria adviced people to us will still be taken for granted. Most people will still read meaning to this simple instructions which is where the problem (unbelieve) lies. Nigerians and maybe Africans are somewhat too religious. When the first advice came from World Health Organisation, regarding being infected through money, most people try to play it down by using biblical verses. The truth is that, JESUS CHRIST himself knew there was Psalm 91, when the Devil came to tempt him, but he rather reboked the Devil when he came to tempt him. We know God answers prayers of the faithful, but we should not play down the grace by doubting every important precautions the healthcare agencies passed to us. Every life is precious before God, therefore don't think it is because of the sin of a particular country that makes the case of coronavirus keeps increasing in the country. No, it is not; it is human factors that is causing the increase in some countries. And the human factors are CARELESSNESS and UNBELIEVE. As a good Nigerian, it is your responsibility to spread the news of precautions. We can't afford to lose any of our loved ones to coronavirus infection. Please inform others of the precautions to avoid the spread of coronavirus in the country. Help share this with your loved ones to prevent them from being infected unknowingly! Coronavirus is real, let's join hands together and contain the spread of the virus before it gets out of hand! https://news-af.feednews.com/news/detail/3ac3cffb40184097224a780abef11c03?client=news Lalasticlala |

Nigeria is among the wonders of the world. The same supreme court that affirmed the election of our president despite not having a certificate, disqualified another for having a forged certificate. Supreme Court: In Nigeria, its better to contest election without a certificate than to forge one. Inec: You must possess a legit certificate to be eligible for an election. You as a citizen, What do you think? |
tammie24:I have done that in the past and to be honest with you, that day was the most embarrassing day of my life. I spent the whole day apologising to the customer who happened to be an understanding guy. I was contracted by a hotel to fixed their damaged intercoms in different rooms of the hotel. Before I started, I requested for the number of rooms that were free and the receptionist gave it to me. They also gave me master key to those rooms. When i got to one particular room at the last floor of the three storey building, i knocked on the door to confirm if the room was actually empty before using the master key but there was no response. I opened the room and went inside. On course of my job, I traced the fault of the intercom of that particular room to the ceiling where the wires were joined and it required i leave the room so as to climb the ceiling from the man hole. While on the job, they gave away this same room to a customer without telling me and the guy came in with a girl. When I was done fixing the problem on the ceiling, I came down to confirm if the intercom is working. I used the master key to open the room but to my greatest surprise I saw a guy and a lady lying down on the bed. My saving grace was that they were still fully clothed. I started apologising for the intrusion. The lady was shocked, speechless and angry at the same time. The guy showed no sign of anger. I was still pleading on my way out when I closed their door behind. So my point is this could happen in different circumstances. |
Let's all analyze that ghost will. Something look fishy there. I have a strong feeling that Ghost might have faked his death to move away from tasha and start a new life with Ramona. Ghost right from the start had wanted to leave the game but Tommy and tasha won't let him. The title of episode 15 is "Just like we planned it". (Something like that) Why did Ghost replaced tommy damaged car despite knowing he betrayed him and wanted him dead. Did he learned the truth about him or did Tommy helped him faked his death. He could be involved. I'm not taking anything away from those two. The spill off will shed more light. Then coming to tariq money, Ghost willed almost everything to him on the conditions he must go back to school and graduate with a gp of 3.5. How is that possible for someone like tariq? Isn't it obvious Ghost knew he won't be around to see tariq go to school and knowing how stubborn tariq was, he introduced those conditions? That of Tommy's mum is understandable because she took him as a son but what got me confused is how he included Paz Angela's sister in the will in a short distance, though his love for Angela could have played a part but why snub tasha the mother of his children. Did he do it to hurt her for divorcing him? Was there another reason we are yet to know? Where is Ramona in all these? I don't believe his character ended just like that. Do you remember her telling Tate at truth club that nothing will stop ghost when Tate confronted her. The question she asked ghost hope she wont compete with Angela's ghost is still unanswered. Why was there no body bag shown to prove ghost really died? No funeral for his character. Ghost displayed so much arrogance to those seven suspects and knew one of them will make attempt on his life. He baited them to a reaction so as to perfect his plan. He set trap for all but unfortunately tariq fell for it. Ghost is too intelligent to lose guard himself. He wouldn't have humiliated them and expect them to let him go without a fight. Remember his reaction when he saw paz walking away from truth. I believe ghost prepared for them. The way he stood at the balcony showed he was expecting something, the manner he was looking at his office shows someone who knew he isn't coming back to that office in time soon and the expression in his face wasn't that of someone going to a better place in Albany either. When tariq came in and pointed that gun at him, ghost was reluctant to stop him. Yes, he was surprised it was tariq but feelings aside, having known the kind son he had, if he had wanted to stop him from shooting, he would have right before he pulled the trigger. He watched his son repeat the same reason he told him on why he killed breeze and still stood there and watched him. His instinct didn't give him the danger signal?. Ghost knew what tariq was capable of doing. But to perfect his plan, he let him pull the trigger. Lastly, power spill off is titled GHOST which means it will still be about GHOST. In conclusion, ghost isn't dead and I believe Ramona knows about it. The election could be a smokescreen. |
Ghost isn't dead to me |
Ghost had all the time to stop tariq from pulling the trigger but he still let him. As a real nigga, he could have rushed him and knock the gun off him when he was pointing it. Ghost who had faced worst scenario in his drug business just let a rookie in tariq to pull the trigger without even trying to make a run for it. That's was so shit |
