I am someone who stays out of sentiment.
The pressure on SA is too much for such a developing country, if they dont fix it, the country would be dragged down.
Migrate as a scientist, brain surgion, high valued AI engineer, migrate with huge capital for huge investment. That is what SA needs, not petty unskilled worker who migrates illegally, now starts roaming the streets looking for what to do. Do u know how annoying it is when u meet someone who is migrating and u ask the person, what will u be doing in SA? He or she will say, they are going to look for low skilled work, no high valued skill, no huge capital, etc. SA is not a developed country. Countries that can accomodate such low skill workforce are Developed countries like the US, Canada, UK, Italy, Germany, etc. Even these countries I mentioned, some groups are calling for tougher immigration policies. So, if a developed country can cry, imagine a struggling developing country.
It is like looking at Nambia now with very small population but very stable society, and boom, she experiences huge population that will mount pressure on her health sector, education, infrastructures, etc, Namibia will collapse then. See eh, as some countries have decided to be useless with their choices of leaders and birth kids anyhow with no plan, they should not go and be disturbing another country that is managing her self. I support what SA citizens are doing with full chest. If I will migrate to any country, I will migrate with huge capital for investment as an expatriate, or very highly valued skilled worker. This is the problem with black people, sentiment and not logic. South Africa is not a not a developed country yet. It is developing and needs massive essential skill support and not burden the country. The problem is that over 80 percent African countries have failed all round and south africa now looks like the saving grace. It is currently over burdened. What south Africa needs are serious investors into their economy, they need top scientist, not bread seller, not road hawker, not salon, etc. Many countries have such policies too, especially those still growing. If they don't handle immigrantion carefully, the country may collapse.

Even the few South Africans in Ghana are those investing heavily in their economy, top class expatraites who legally got in, did all their paper works, etc. That is not the same for Ghannians, Nigerians, in SA. For example, the SA law says that before u hire a foreigner, u must prove that there is no South African who can do the job. I made a post about how 30m a year as income is no longer giving u reasonable quality of life, I was bashed that it is a lie. I said, quality of life. Previously, that could put u in a very comfortable middle class, but now, u are struggling to keep up and live quality with same amount, u cant. U have to completely reduce ur standard of living!
The man Tinubu has wrecked the purchasing power of the middle and upper middle class. His administration benefits the elites. And worse part, with all these hardship, baba still widen tax bracket and increased tax rates across boards. Meaning, u will pay more tax if u earned 30m per year now. To save middle class which are very vital for any society, that man needs to be voted out. He seems to only dance to the tone of the white people.

Omo, why always Peter Obi? Are there no other oppositions? There are many out there, even one Yoruba opposition grants lot of interviews and speaks critical of Tinubu leadership, I like the man naturally, I mean the Yoruba opposition, I have forgotten his name, very sound, smart and descent man. But these guys dont call him, they dont talk about him, why always Obi? They cant spend one or three days without dragging Obi. Nigeria should focus more on restructuring which concetrate on reducing powers at the center, pls, that should be our focus. Too much power in the center is a problem. Nigeria should be treated as component states that came together. That is the reality. Not single term bla bla. We need proper restructuring and efficient electoral system. Once these two are fixed, many issues would be resolved.

So, a 6 nation based country is what Nigeria is begging for if we are to still have a functioning country in the next 20 years.

So, if we have a 6 nation country, each region runs her affirs as she wants, no body will struggle to go to the center. And each regions can now decide if they will control population or not since population will not determine representation at the center. What will matter is the regions and the center is for purely external affairs and condinations. This will fix naija problems hand down.
