See what you can invest in IT sector in Kenya or Ghana. IT and agriculture are driving very well in these countries. Nigeria would have been a good choice but bro, Insecurity is so much here and politucal stability is uncertain due to useless leaders we have. So, consider a more stable African country.

To be honest with you, you can't use a 280 watts load on a single 200ah ,12v battery for long ,that battery will quickly RIP. Being on solar and inverter system for longevity of battery life would mean : a so
at TV ( 15-20 watt) ,solar standing or ceiling fan 15(watts), cfl or led bulbs (10-20 watts) , solar freezer ( last I saw was 250k), solar iron 6.5k,radio (around 15 watts). Even ,I'd advise you to use a smaller laptop or tablet( less than 40 watts). Don't be deceived by anybody telling you otherwise because they want to sell their products. Unless you are buoyant enough ,I'd advise a separate wiring for for your inverter to inverter powered devices in your place. Don't buy car or trailer battery ,they can't last you more than 3-4 months on heavy cycle use. I also started small with a single battery ,but minimal power loading 2013. Also, check "solar as a complement to FTA on nairaland". Now back to your question, how long to charge a 200ah,12v battery, it all depends on the charger you're using and to which voltage you last consumed your battery. Try not to consume your battery below 12.4 volts often for longevity of battery life.For a 20 amp charger , to charge from like say 12.2 v to 13.1 or so volts should safely be 12 to 14or 15 hours for a good battery. Check those guys I mentioned on nairaland and ask questions there. Goodluck!

Mehn, Nigeria is the same all over the regions. The only people truly enjoying Nigeria are politicians. They can afford to travel out for medicals over night bro.

All over Nigeria, there are no stable electricity, no water supply, citizens dig their own Boreholes, no proper housing scheme, houses are built anyhow by anyone.

No emergency service. None. If u have emergence service that needed health attention under an hour, u will die any where in Nigeria. The roads are bad all over. Nigerians are extremely poor. Take away fraud money, ritual money, drug money, the average nigerian is very poor. Can't afford vacation.

Even the north that has ruled for more decades have more poor people, extreme Insecurity and terrible record of poor human development with poor educational system.

Spend two months outside Nigeria and u will curse the rest of your days in Nigeria. That is why your leaders from North, east, west, South only send their kids abroad. They don't even believe in Nigeria. Their families school abroad, live more in abroad, get medicals abroad, and even shop abroad. Politicians are the ones enjoying the unity of Nigeria. The masses have no profit.

Why some of us are agitating for a restructured Nigeria or separate breakup is that we want a system that can give us access to hold our leaders accountable.
The current system gives the president too much powers and we don't have access to him.

Our electricity is so bad and I can't hold the president accountable. Security is bad and we can't hold the president accountable. And we can't hold our governors accountable because they don't have control over these things. Only politicians enjoy one Nigeria and that is why they can kill for it.

All these kidnappings and killings up and down, none has affected the politicians. Only the masses get kidnapped and killed. The politicians don't get affected. Nigeria runs a useless system of govt that took away powers from the electorate and give it to the politicians, especially the president. If we continue like this, Nigeria will surely turn to Somalia in years to come.

The America they have as an example runs a true federal system of govt that grants great autonomy to each States. Each states run and manages many things on their own. They don't need the president to manage their security, Electricity, resources, etc. We run a unitary system which is terrible for a country with multiple nations like Nigeria. Even UK is running a 4 nation system that grants great autonomy to the 4 nations.
