I dont think the other lawmakers(non member of the subsidy probe panel) that didnt raise any objection to the amendement raised by Farouk has done anything wrong.
My reason:If you are given a task in your compnay to work on a project and you are the only one that know the in and out of the project.And after finishing your work on it,submmited the report,if you come forward later to say that you made a mistake while doing the project and you intend to correct the mistake,of course no one wud object to it simply due to the fact that you are the one that worked on it and know the in and out.
To me, I think all the member of the subsidy committee share part of the bribe.They are the one that suppose to object to the amendement.

bro,you are getting it wrong accusing Otedola why he paid bribe.Pls get it right that Otedola contacted SSS when the pressure on him to pay bribe was too intense.It was the SSS that gave him the marked dollars he gave to Farouk.Though I am not exonerating Otedola from corrupt practices,but Farouk is already in a cage,his hands are in shackles already.Lets wait and see how the drama wud end.This wud really prove how serious GEJ is in fighting corruption.At least on of them (either Farouk or Otedola)is graviously guilty and shud not escape imprisonment.

Otedola didnt succumb to the blackmail.Rather he contacted the SSS who advised him to play along and supplied him with the serialised dollar notes and video recorders.
Otedola may not be innocent in the subsidy scandal but Farouk has been exposed as a corrupt man.

Farouk has not been consistent in his submission,initially said he didnt collect any money.Later he said he collected to nail Otedola.
If Farouk claimed he collected to nail Otedola,why didnt he informed the other members of the committee abt it ?why did he keep it to himself until his yansh was blown open?
Conclusion:Farouk knows that he has been caught red-handed and just cooking up stories to defend his dubious act.

if nairalanders have been following the information/news that has been coming out since the blow out of this bribery allegation,it is likely possible that Farouk is a bribe taker and liar.He has been changing his stories from the onset.
(1)first,he said he didnt collect any money that the video is a caricature of himself.
(2)after he aknowledged that he collected that he wanted to proof his earlier complaint that some oil magnate have been making moves to bribe him.
The question to ask Farouk are:
1.Why didnt he contact the security agents immediately he got the money to submit the money to them?(hope u guys cud recollect that when Ibori gave Ribadu $50million dollars as bribe,Ribadu immediately delivered the money to CBN as an exhibit.
2.why did name of Otedola oil company got removed from the fuel subsidy report after it was reported to be there in the preliminary report.?(My answer to this is that,it was when Farouk collected the part payment of $620k that he removed the name of the company)
You cud also recollect that Otedola claimed the dollars given to Farouk are marked and that he actually got them from SS fater he had informed them of the bribe request from Farouk and was asked to play along.I think the SS should comeout to say whether this is true or not.
In my opinion,Farouk has not been consistent in his report and his reason to exonorate himself doesnt hold water.He shud be subjected to thorough investigation.

I really appreciate your contributions.Actually,it wouldnt be bad if I could get the breakdown details as proposed by Tyor.Nevertheless ,I agree with the price quote of Jussi.
The actual fact is that someone is proposing to sell the house to me as it stands in the pictures at a price of 8 million naira and I really want to know if the house worths that price as it stands.As I have earlier written,the location is not lagos,neither abuja,so the estimate should be based on the relative cost of building materials and labour.
So I will gladly welcome more advice and suggestion.

@ ludab, Listen to the advice of move up.If you dont have scholarship or sponsorship,do not go to belarus.Forget abt the idea that you wud leave there after some weeks to enter europe.My guy i tell u,na there u go rotten o unless u get money to go back to nigeria.
Though very few do cross from those former soviet union countries to europe but it very rare and u must hv at least studied there for a year and also hv someone in those europian countries to send you invitatn and mind you ,the person must be living in that europian country legally and have a lucrative job.
