so a guy who says, "omo you set ooo"; and who says, "omo t'o dun, kilonsele" has committed a crime against humanity that makes him deserving of being disrespected. Na waa ooo! Are both pleasantries not Yoruba and/or the pidgin versions for saying you are pretty and attractive? They are saying essentially the same thing. What happened to substance over form? I am not condoning disrespectful behavior by men, but what I am saying is that many Naija women are disrespectful towards men who merely compliment them. From your response, you are finding a hard time fathoming why a sane girl would be disrespectful to a guy who compliments her respectfully, which says to me that you are thinking rationally and civilly. But all too often many of your fellow Naija sisters behave irrationally and uncivilly when they display a negative attitude upon being complimented by Naija men who are not being disrespectful. These women believe it is the right thing to do, think like animals, and are the very reason why this thread is up. |
naijasexy:Even though 99% was meant to be a hyperbolic statement, majority of Naija girls are yanshless and hipless. I travel to Nigeria twice a year, I live in Yankee and regularly attend Nigerian parties, weddings, churches, and the like. I am sure you yourself do the same. You know, and I know, that most of y'all have no yansh and hips. In all the music videos you see, all the Nollywood movies you see, just about most, if not all, of the Naija girls have na yansh and hips. Prove me wrong. Go to a Liberian party, South African party, Ivory Coast party, or even Ghanaian party, and compare all those parties to Nigerian parties, then come back and holler at me. Finding a Naija girl with hips and yansh is like digging for gold. |
slimyem:even if a guy is trying hard to get your attention, has that man committed a crime against humanity that makes him deserving of being disrespected? What is your point? We are talking about complimenting here, which should not give rise to any attitude. |
naijasexy:Naija guys are the most sought after African men. You can feign ignorance as to this fact if you want, but we all know it is true. You cannot speak the same about Naija women. 99% of the time Naija girls are shapeless and exude no sex appeal. Na so so flat yansh them get. And them no dey get hips. I went to South Africa and every corner you look you see a shapely, curvy girl--plump in all the right places. For naija, na so so big stomach dem Naija girls dey get with their pancake yansh |
slimyem:Accept the compliment, say thank you, and move on. Why do you have to act negative towards someone who compliments you, even if he wants the punny? Why are Naija girls so local to the extent that they think a guy who wants to get their punny is committing a crime against humanity and is therefore blameworthy? Hollering at girls, complimenting girls, and trying to get punny from girls is what guys do--irrespective of their backgrounds. Only Naija girls will walk around and give you an attitude to a guy who gives them pleasantries. If you don't want to give the guy your punny, politely reject him and move on. Why do you have to respond like animal because a guy is trying to get in your punny? Why act like you don't like to get some loving from men. Maybe it is the female circumcision that is causing Naija girls to act like this. I hear a lot of Naija girls have been circumcised. I am beginning to believe it. If no guys hollers at you now, you will be going to night vigil and asking God to bind all the evil forces that is preventing men from approaching you. |
Naija don suffer. So now or brainiacs are now going to Malaysia. |
Sagamite:If I understand you correctly, I believe you are saying the girls they used are devoid of curves, i.e., thighs, hips, and enough Ikebe, a combination of which will appropriately accentuate our Nigerian attire. I feel you my brother. I would have loved to see some girls with some meat, albeit in the right places, wear that attire. |
When you compliment Naija girls, some of them will even look at you in disgust and display a very negative attitude towards the guy giving them the compliments, obviously thinking it is the proper response to a compliment. Why do they think like that? I don't know. Many Naija girls do not either do not have or understand sex appeal, and so they cannot appreciate any pleasantries they receive. Only God can save Naija women. Asian, white, and akata girls will appreciate the compliment and smile in response, and act like a lady. |
Mrs, Chima:one of the many reasons why we love doggie style. that yansh bounces back and sometimes can clap on your Uncle John. A flat butt cannot do that ooooo. I have a zero-tolerance policy for flat butts. |
Beync:Do you stay in gidi? |
Beync:It wasn't me oooo. But I am coming home to you to grab the real thing ooooooo |
sexkillz:You know it is difficult to resist some yanshes out there, you know. Those ikebe super-type yanshes. |
Beync:abi oooo. I need a Naija lady with a plump booty like you. ![]() |
Beync:no be me oooooo |
slimyem:You must have a flat butt and ignorant of the benefits of having a big butt. Having a big butt can change a woman's destiny. |
Mrs, Chima:can I tosh it to make sure it is real? |
My people of Nairaland. My boy went out to this club and met this Ivory Coast girl who, according to my boy's description, has an enormous butt. My boy, a butt lover by all standards, was apparently smitten by this girl and got her number. They went out on numerous dates and on this fateful day, three weeks after they met, he grabbed and squeezed her butt, noticing that it did not feel right, as in it did not feel like the other butts he has grabbed in the past. He now asked her whether she had a butt implant, and she admitted to having butt injections from a plastic surgeon in Yankee. My boy now feels disappointed and wants to break off the relationship. Sad part is that he really likes the girl and had intentions of pursuing the relationship, but now he says he does not want to marry a girl with a fake butt. What do you think he should do? What would you do? |
The people who pay a premium for attending Harvard Business School are not silly, for it opens a world of opportunities for their alumni, considering the calibre of graduates who have walked through the doors of HBS. If you are a hardworking person, $84,000 should not get in the way of attending one of the premier schools in the world. Even if you don't make that much money after graduation, the prestige associated with having a HBS degree is priceless. If I were your friend, I would go to HBS if I can afford it; if not, I would find scholarships and get a loan, if possible. |
2 gold-diggers don't date each other, for they know how to avoid themselves. |
LeoMax:It is interesting that lack of stable electricity has been one problem that has kept many diaspora Nigerians from moving back home. Me, for example, anytime I go back home for holidays, lack of electricity singularly frustrates me, considering the fact that I can't sleep well when it is hot. They had to buy a bigger generator that can power an A/C. Sometimes I had to check in a hotel so that I can get a good night's sleep. But overall, I still manage to pull it off. But 12 hrs a day electricity would be a marked improvement. |
truefact:Gbam! Some people are even saying homosexuality is a western way of life, which is a big lie. Homosexuality has been in existence from the beginning of time. I have not said that people who despise homosexuality are wrong, but only that the homosexuals have a fundamental right to protest in peace on their father's land. It is sad that they have to run to America just to have the freedom to protest, yet many Nigerians who are saying that these homosexuals should not protest are in America enjoying the saying freedom that they do not want to give to homosexuals in Nigeria. |
begwong: Hye-Bits:I am not man-lover, and I do not support the man-lover lifestyle. Nothing I said supports the lifestyle of being man-lover. I have only supported their right to protest--their right to free speech. I can't, however, impose my views on others who have differing views, and, in light of that spirit, I respect the rights of the man-loving-men to protest their opposition to that law. How would you guys feel if the government arrested you for voicing your opinions? You can't pick and choose when to support free speech, absent situations where it is hate speech and fighting words. It is obvious people like you only support fairness went it pertains to you, but are against it when it pertains to others. What you don't know is that your being against free speech this time around will come back to hunt you when it is your own turn to exercise your right to free speech. |
All the people who are daring the man-lover protesters to come to Nigeria, and who are against the fundamental right of the man-loving-men to protest on Nigerian soil, do not realize that they are implicitly supporting an act that is a threat to free speech generally. I am cognizant of the fact that you have every right to oppose the man-loving-men, but I am correspondingly cognizant of the rights of the man-loving-men to free speech. As Martin Luther King said, "a threat to justice somewhere is a threat to justice everywhere," which means that those of you who are not supporting the right of man-loving-men to protest on Nigerian soil, probably because you disagree with man-lover lifestyle, are implicitly supporting an act that is a threat to the rights of other Nigerians to protest on Nigerian soil. My heart bleeds for the surprisingly high number of vicious comments on this thread directed against the fundamental rights of these man-lover men to protest on Nigerian soil. If this is the average mentality of Nigerians back home, no wonder that country is a slow an inept state. My 2 cents. |
t4tgirl:It is one thing to ask for the bribe ahead of issuing the visas, and deny the applicants the visa if they do not pay the bribe. It is another thing to demand the bribe post issuance, and, upon refusal of the applicants to pay the bribe, you not only revoke their visas, but also withhold their passports. The latter act demands a higher excuse of cancellation from embassy officials, one which, if given, will most likely be a stupid excuse. |
Vicjustice:skin to skin dey sweet pass condom |
Good coding, but it aesthetically lacking. Inasmuch as many Nigerians don't place a high value on aesthetics, I think a good graphic artist needs to work on that site. Overall, good job. |
