justwise: Bradford college or Bradford regional college?

Their reasoning is right though but it has to be on part time until your course with Bradford regional colleges finishes and you make it full time.

Reply them and clarify if its on part time bases.

Its Bradford Regional College, i guess it was a mistake on their part.

Alright let me send them an email and find out. I just sent them an email asking if it is possible for both schools to have an agreement that i could leave my current school and join Doncaster.

Please see below the reply i got from Doncaster college. Please tell me what you think i need your advice please.




If Bradford College agree, you can enrol at Doncaster College as supplementary study without needing another CAS. The condition on this is that you must continue to attend Bradford College and your study here must not interfere with you study at Bradford as they are your sponsor.

If they sponsor you all the way until when your current leave is due to end then you could study with us without the need for a visa extension because your course will end with us at the end of June.

justwise: Most importantly from your current school, if you are given written agreement and Doncaster colleges accepts you then you got nothing to worry about. Keep the letter because you will need it to extend your visa next year.

Written agreement with my school and Doncaster as mentioned earlier or just my school having that statement in writing, that "i can enrol at Doncaster college while I complete my modules with them"?

If its not written statement then don't risk it, like i said before, your college has dodgy reputation and without written agreement it doesn't worth it. Doncaster college has good reputation because they are owned by the council while your college is private.

justwise: I know that college, changed name and management after UKBA banned the previous one because of visa fraud.

If the two schools have written agreement that you can leave and join Doncaster college then you are covered.

Yea I learnt that they changed management, I didn't know it was previously banned.

I spoke to my school today and was told by a member of staff in admin that I can enrol at Doncaster college while I still continue my two remaining modules at Bradford. Is that possible? Will it be possible with ukba? Please advise on that part, please.

Bradford Regional College.

justwise: Well...its not possible to leave before finishing that course to another school. First check if your current school is suspended by UKBA because private colleges in Bradford are like visa center. The only recognized college in Bradford is Bradford college.

It is a HTS college, and on the ukba college list.

Hi justwise, please I need your advice on this situation.

I am currently studying in Bradford and will complete my course in October 2014. Meanwhile, I have been given admission at Doncaster college to undergo a one year degree course commencing this September.

My current school was to assist in completing my course but that will not be possible now. However, I requested to join the course at Doncaster during the second semester but unfortunately, that will not be possible too as they have September intake only.

Is it possible to enroll at Doncaster this September whilst I complete my course in Bradford? I have just two modules to complete in Bradford.

Please advice on what to do.

justwise: School accommodation is a no-go-area only if you are swimming in cash, its expensive and restrictive but socially beneficiary especially for new students.

Private renting is cheaper but never ever pay for accommodation you did not see physically and sign tenancy agreement , avoid signing group tenancy agreement because if one person moves out the remaining tenants will share the cost of the empty room.

Go for all bills inclusive (water, gas, internet and electricity), go for single bedroom for a start (if you are on budget) you can move up to double bedroom when thing improves......

How much is it for a single bedroom with the facilities listed above?

Thank you abnot. No i applied in Gambia and it was processed in Ghana. It took 11 working days but i got it yday. Have you received yours already?

Thanks a lot justwise, yea very quick I think it actually took 11 working days and not 13days cuz the date on it is 13sept, though I was called to pick it up yday. They didn't return my bank statement but I just printed out a new one from the bank.

I just picked up my passport, applied on the 29th of August and received it today, 13 working days. Special thanks to justwise for all the help you are really doing a wonderful job. Pounds just increased oooo.... and i already submitted last week Monday.. just bank statements showing my living maintenance fee. 7200GBP......And the closing balance was 2.5million and the amount has been there for 6 months not going below this amount.. will the increase in the pounds affect the bank statement....
