Read this again This GEJ will not stop surprising me, when he took over leadership our foreign reserve was $42billion and when he was leaving it was $2billion, for 6 years even though his regime experienced the highest crude oil price ever recorded in Nigeria he did not add even a single dollar to d reserve. So he wants tthe account balance to read zero not $2billion before he agrees that he left zero account in a country of 170 million people.No wonder his PhD is questionable.

Is a pity how people quickly take side with politicians in Nigeria, See how people are celebrating Jonathan and Co that ought to be stoned to death.
He didn't leave empty treasury but we want to borrow money to implement budget, where did those people returning their money get it from ?
How much was oil selling in his regime and how much did he save ?
It seems this man is not in agreement with his finance minister or he already knows how ignorant some Nigerians are due to religion, partisanship and ethnicity.

Why won't government officials misbehaving and empty our treasury when they know huge number of the citizen are blinded by ethnicity and religion.

You met about $50Billion in the reserve, sold crude oil 2.2barrels/day at average of $100/barrel for five years and instead of having increased reserve, you left $29Billion, yet no "critical" infrastructures on ground to substantiate the unfortunate situation ...those who knw arithmetic will agree with me that since what u left is just a meager fraction of what you are supposed to have left..............You simply left "almost" an empty treasury judging by this scenario.

In my last article about the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, I called him a “Drama king”, an “Attention Seeker”, a Visionless man, an average man on the Streets of Lagos would call him a “Mofo”.

Fayose is one man whom has made it his duty to keep criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari no matter what, during the campaigns, he said he had evidence that President Buhari would die 2months after inauguration, but it’s 11months right now (May 29th 2015 – March 2016) and President Buhari is still not dead! Now what do we call Fayose? A pained brat!

Just two weeks ago, Fayose was very happy buying Banana from a small child whom is meant to be in school, now what’s that?

This same Fayose called President Buhari a weak 73year old whom is an illiterate & an incompetent man unable to rule Nigeria, but our dear Fayose still appointed a 73year old “Carpenter” as a Local Government Chairman! Oh! Did I mention that the “Carpenter” is also an illiterate! Oh gullible Fayose! Oh Visionless Fayose! Oh Pained Fayose!

This “Gullible Fellow” who has a PhD in Noise Making with his E-rat “Lere Olayinka” has been seeking unnecessary attention all these while!

Fast forward to March 2016, Fayose made a statement which fumed up the anger in me & made me pickup my Laptop to write this article, he said this & I quote “Everyone whom has lost his/her life in Nigeria to terrorist attacks or otherwise has his/her blood on President Buhari’s head”! Come on Fayose! Come on! Why that statement!

What about those who died under Goodluck Jonathan? Of Course! He is PDP! Fayose is PDP! So Jonathan’s sins has to slide through!

But Flowrymz and Nigerians SAY NO! If everyone who loses his/her lives gets his/her blood on President Buhari’s head, then everyone who lost their lives under Jonathan’s tenure gets theirs on Jonathan’s head, Period!

Under Jonathan, 234 School girls were abducted and were not returned to their parents till today! Over 20,000 lives lost just in the Northern Part of Nigeria!

Over 50 Bomb blasts recorded under Jonathan! (Lives and Properties lost too).

So what if we get to play the blame game! Don’t you think Jonathan would have more bloods on his head that President Buhari? With President Buhari, Corruption has been stamped out by 87%, with President Buhari, all areas taken hostage by the terrorist Sect “Boko Haram” has been recovered, with President Buhari, Made in Nigeria products are getting patronized more, with President Buhari, with President Buhari, women have gotten a better place in the government, with President Buhari, the military have gotten better ammunitions, with President Buhari, Nigeria’s Petroleum Refineries have started work, with President Buhari a lot have changed!

All is see is a failed Governor ranting all about in the person of “Ayodele Peter Fayose”, my good people of Ekiti, please just endure the “Visionless Mofo” you have at the helm of Affairs in your state, things would surely get better someday.

I still don't trust these products going by the antecedents of easterners at producing most things with low standard materials. I won't be surprised if these cars pack up in maximum of 2years. Its better to stick to foreign cars that we've tested and trusted. There are other ways to grow the economy than put Nigerian lives at risk all because an Igbo man is desperate to make money. The senate needs to ban innoson for now

I don't think the issue of corruption called for these litany of lectures being offered on this forum.
The fact is that a thief remains a thief irrespective of what tribe he or she belong to. For now we need a leader like Buhari who will at least start the cleaning of this rot somewhere like he is doing presently. All we can do now is join our hands with this government to be able to create a better future for our children yet un-born.

But the former minister, one of the leading lights of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Southwest, has sneaked out of the country.

It was learnt that he may relocate from his hideout because it is considered as “unsafe” for him.

There are fears that if he remains in the hideout, his extradition for trial would be easier, a source told The Nation.

The source said: “The huge funds were paid into the accounts of the ex-Minister for elections in the two states.

“There are allegations that the funds were not disbursed as expected because the candidates had their own campaign funds.

“All payments to contractors are based on directive from DFA. Sometimes, there is accompanying document; most times, there is nothing except account details of contractors.”

Religion breeds extremists and those extremists can go to any length just to drive home their point.

We should have learned from the case of Mohammmed Yusuf and his followers, if Former Pres. Yaradua had managed that situation properly, the issue of boko haram won't have reached this extent.

FORMER National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki has made some “mind-boggling” revelations on the $2billion “phoney” arms contracts, a source said yesterday.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and a Federal Government committee are probing how huge sums of money meant for procurement of arms went down the drain during the Dr. Goodluck Jonathan administration.

An interim report indicates that about $2billion may have been disbursed for inexplicable reasons.

Dasuki was arrested on Tuesday by the Department of State Services (DSS). He was transferred to the EFCC.

[b]An EFCC source said: “When Dasuki was brought in, he initially refused to write any statement, alleging that he had been subjected to media trial.

“I think the ex-NSA decided not to open up based on the advice of his lawyers that he should leave everything for the open court.

“The EFCC operatives, however, obliged Dasuki a copy of the statement by a former Director of Finance in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Shaibu Salisu in which the latter made some implicating statements.

“Dasuki, who was shocked by Salisu’s confessions, repeatedly asked: ‘You mean Salisu wrote all these! You mean he said these! Give me a pen and paper’.

“Thereafter, Dasuki decided to open a can of worms. He gave a long list of PDP chieftains who collected money from the Office of the NSA.

“He mentioned the names of a former Deputy National Chairman of PDP, ex-governors and ex-ministers and many others.

“As I am talking to you, Dasuki is still writing his statement. The disclosures of the ex-Director of Finance in ONSA have assisted greatly in getting to the bottom of the armsgate.

“So, the investigation is still on. We will certainly arrest more suspects soon.”[/b]

There were indications that the anti-graft commission may extend its probe to the seizure of $9million cash by South Africa and quiz all those involved in the botched deal.

An Israeli suspect implicated in the deal is said to have bolted after throwing a lavish party at his Wuse residence.

Former Sokoto State Governor Attahiru Bafarawa, AIT Chairman Raymond Dokpesi and former Minister Bashir Yuguda were yesterday battling for bail.

It was learnt that the EFCC was planning to arraign some of the suspects in court to enable the agency keep the more than 22 suspects being interrogated in custody.

The EFCC is said to be mindful of a situation in which the high-profile suspects will rush to court to seek the enforcement of their fundamental rights and truncate the investigation.

A source, who pleaded not to be named, said many suspects had admitted collecting huge sums of money from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) when Dasuki was in charge.

Said the source: “Our investigators have isolated these areas of probe: Were the funds budgeted for? If not, what informed extra-budgetary expenses? How much was actually voted for arms procurement? How were the funds sourced? Who or which agency awarded all the contracts? Who were the contractors? Was there any evidence of delivery of equipment? What will make any Minister to run to ONSA for funds?

“These are the areas our detectives have been mandated to look at.”

On other suspects, the source explained that some of the diverted funds had been traced to a bureau de change owned by a former member of the staff of the ONSA.

“Some Bureau de Change operators were accomplices of many of these suspects in custody. We are tracking every transaction.

“On daily basis, we will keep on inviting more suspects because the syndicate has a complex networking,” the source added.

As at press time last night, Bafarawa, Dokpesi and Yuguda were still battling for bail.

A source said: “We have not released any of them because they are clearing some grey areas.”

Another source in EFCC said the agency would extend its probe to the seizure of the $9.34m cash smuggled into South Africa.

The cash was confiscated by the South Africa from an Israeli arms dealer of Cyprus-based ESD International, who acted on behalf of the Federal Government to procure arms for Nigeria.

Part of the cash was for six “civilian” helicopters from a South African company, Tier One.

The National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa recently received a court permission to return the cash to Nigeria.
