Politics › Re: Are These The Ancestors Of Igbo Jews? Amazing Pictures From 1000 BC. by Probz(m): 3:26am On Jun 28, 2017 |
laudate: Actually, those people depicted in those artworks are likely to be Ethiopians, rather than ancestors of the current Nd'Igbo, going by some of the earliest historical records on relationships that existed between Ethiopians and the Jews. Remember the story of the Queen of Sheba? There must have been trade, political and diplomatic relations between her homeland, and the Israelites, before she decided to visit King Solomon. That is what I think anyway. |

laudate: No, you are not checkmating anything, because there was nothing to checkmate. You read my earlier post and interpreted it wrongly through your tainted ethnic lens and got defensive. Is Nwobosi is not an Igbo name and was the chap not a coup plotter? You were the one that was trying to ascribe another reason for SLA's death, when the whole world knew he was killed in the first military coup. |
Culture › Edo Ika Vs. Delta Ika by Probz(op): 3:13am On Jun 28, 2017 |
Following on from a similar thread I made on this time ago, what's the status of Ika people in Edo state? Is their culture much different to Agbor/Delta Ika and how's the Igbo identity thing viewed in that side of Bendel - do they speak central Igbo as well or just plain Ika? |
Politics › Re: Revive Ajaokuta by Probz(m): 9:18pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
laudate: This is where the Kogi senators, state govt and entire house of reps should focus on, and make their voices heard. Instead, they will be fighting petty squabbles and making a mockery of the entire region. Dr. Kayode Fayemi or whichever Minister is in charge of this sector, needs to step up his game, and make the revival of Ajaokuta, a top priority.
Seek investors and technical expertise from different companies around the world to join hands and revive this project. Technology in the steel sector has changed over the years, so efforts to get new investors with the appropriate technology in place, should be made. If the govt is wary of dealing solely with the Russians, then they can ask the Russians to team up with other accredited firms from different foreign countries to revive the project, with the shareholding spread out in such a way, as to give the Russians a minority stake.
This thing is not rocket science. It is just that the fed govt lacks the will and determination to complete this project! |

laudate: I no know say you sef, see am!! When his brothers resident in the North heard the Kaduna declaration, and calculated all they stood to lose in terms of naira and kobo, they must have sent a strongly worded warning to Kanu, to desist from his hate speech, or ensure he compensates them for any losses that may arise, due to his threats against their hosts. Cunning man die, cunning man bury am!

laudate: Please provide the verifiable sources to back up your assertion. Most of your businessmen do not like to consign their imported goods to SS ports, for reasons best known to them. Kemafor Chikwe (one of your Igbo daughters) was was appointed Minister of Transport, and then of Aviation by President Olusegun Obasanjo, why did she not reverse the trend? Why did she NOT make SS ports viable for Igbo businessmen to use?
The late Chief Ojo Maduekwe (May 6, 1945 – June 29, 2016) another illustrious Igbo son was Minister of Transport in 2001. What did he do about the state of SS ports? These people had the chance to reverse any issue that affected the SS ports. Why on earth did they not do so? You this nwata eyiye eyiye. Sharrrap your dirty mouth |
