bigfrancis21: Language and identity are two different things. You can speak a language but choose not to identify with that language. In the UK for example, English has nearly displaced other native UK language such as Welsh, Irish, Cornish etc. Majority of Irish, Welsh people etc. speak English as native language but identify as Welsh, Irish etc. Minority are able to speak Welsh, Irish etc. fluently alongside English.
Let's call what something is what it is. Enuani is a dialect of Igbo language but if you choose to see yourself differently that is up to you but do not try to change what is obvious or calling letter A C or D. A pure dialect too. As central as they come compared to most non-Anambra dialects. This man’s getting Enuani muddled up with Ika. |

danye8: calling other people's dialect intelligible, calling some ethnic groups/tribe "TRUE" and others "false" is disrespectful.i am an enuani man from anioma part of delta state,my language is igboid doesn't make it igbo.ENUANI is my languge and ethnicity,ANIOMA is my land and that should be respected.and i also admit i share linguistic similarity with the igbos but i am not igbo first,i am ENUANI first.period Enuani’s a dialect of Igbo. You can have your personal identity but as far as facts go Enuani’z no less Igbo than Ngwa or Waawa. Anything else is misdirected sentiments. Enuani’s a subgroup. Igbo’s your tribe. |

davidif: What exactly are you saying? That your culture is primitive? Gosh! see brainwashing at the highest level. I’m saying that there’s a certain level of adaptation to the lingua franca you need to meet in this day and age. That’s as far as it goes. Pure practicality. You don’t get any gold medals for reasoning like a village grandma. It’s to do with English being the world language whether that’s something you want to hear or not. Chill innit. |

baby124: Na you and all your ancestors be Anuohia. You have never eaten it before and then you condemn it. I have at least tried Isi-Ewu and I can tell you that it is the most unappealing food in the world. Both visual and taste wise. Also Abacha is completely tasteless. So what are you saying? That Gbegiri and Ewedu with Amala as soft as your ear will give you orgasms. Though that Gbegiri in the picture is not well done. https://instagram.com/p/BfksJbhlmkU/MSays the one who seems to think ewedu’s exclusively a Yoruba thing. If I can’t convince you that it’s a low-key Igbo thing too have a look at a Ghanaian doing it. Or was her ayoyo copied from Oyo? |

The girl has deeply degenerated and she clearly wilfully gave in full on.
She needs every help she can get that's if she's even willing to receive help. What’s this, Spanish Inquisition? Ask her yourself on this thread if you don’t believe me. Not that I need to justify myself to some overinquistive Nairaland stranger but you ask her and see what she’ll tell you. |

GraGra247: For what exactly. State it for all to see. Whoever wants to help her should clearly state his purpose. That lady is extremely, dangerously unstable and vulnerable.
She shouldn't inbox just anyone anywhere. She’s got OCD and I’ve been the one helping her and urging her to see her GP. I even wrote her a letter to give her doctor. She needs professional help and I’m more qualified to give it than anyone on this thread. |

MaMoTeE: This is not funny, there ar a lot of people with great destiny but because they eat in this so call buka, they have lost their destiny to them,no matter how hard work they d reward goes to d buka. I'm speaking from xperience, there are buka wen yu eat there yu never get filled, some buka they use d waste water for ur hand to reap yu of ur glory, some they wash their privat part to make their food sweet just lik men can't do witout sex yu will always go there,'some buka their juju is in d vege or ewedu.I've seen on tv a buka wit invisible snake no matter wat yu eat yu can't b filled. So d best is stop eating in them and if yu can't do witout them b a prayerful xtian.if yu say yu don't care God has done enuff by creatin this topic.Around 1985 in abesan housing estate ipaja I stay in blk 222, a girl confess dat d woman sellin palm oil initiated her into witchcraft and that d palm oil she sellin is blood.d ball is in ur court. Were you even alive in 1985? |
