AllforJesus7: Easy young man and stop acting suspicious.
I could investigate you if I want. Albiet I am assured you will not succeed with an ulterior motive. And who exactly are you? You ask her if I’ve got an ulterior motive. Investigate me all you like. In fact I’m inviting you to. Feel free. You ask her about the time I drew her up an action plan, wrote her a letter for her to show her GP and get specialist referral and see if I’ve got a motive other than wanting to help out vulnerable people outside the view of a Nigerian forum where she’s open for explotation from all the sickos on here. I’m not the one you need to concern your head over, believe me. |

Wetin be any female(s) major contributions to history and now without the help of any man?
A man is a man but "MAN PASS MAN" Why not speak about the women? You thirsty female supporter. Misogny ain’t for us. Or you don’t know that black women have contributed more to civilisation than black men? A man ain’t just a man. The same old textbooks that you use to soothe your ego are the same ones who call negro men the most savage and primitive people of humankind. Colour’s get everything to do with it. Instead of hanging onto something that only works for people who have white male privilege tell us what the black man’s contributed to civilisation. I’m listening. |

kushme: Hey elpigrafa, now you want me to tell you that all women ain't shi.t without the help of men. Many men ain't shi.t because of the standard of "Man pass man".... No single woman in the history of the world became successful without the presence(help) of men in it.... But plenty men have done did it without any female around...
I challenge you to any historic or current achievement of women innovations succeeding all alone with other women on any project for the economic development of mankind.. Guess you can't say the same for men... If you do, i will see you as a joke.. White men or black men it has to be said. Which? Misogny’s a white man’s thing. Blacks (especially sub-Saharan) Africans are on the same plain as each other female or male. Did you know that? Most of what you people use to big up men comes from the West. It’s not just any man’s world but a white man’s world. |

Quality20: it's only d fear of the almighty that is preventing many men from beating and killing some women. Gossiping, insults sneering ,outright ingrates, diabolism, extravagancy ,mischief, laziness, bad mouthing, excessive comparison, and of course gross/continuous disobedience are only just a few things many of ds women do to men and they think it's fun or nothing This thing didn’t happen in Nigeria. Drop the Afro marriage mentality where akatas and oyinbos are concerned. You’re talking out of tune. |

A gathering that tend to promote and uphold the culture of the people, If they cant promote any other thing because i know they dont officiate the meeting in Igbo language let them at least promote our attire. what is wrong is wrong, the woman did not try. Is christianity part of their culture? Someone needs to define what culture is first. You know people like to cherry-pick what is and isn’t culture. Someone can start off by defining unadulterated Igbo culture for a start. |

Wearing trousers in Igbo culture for men and women isn’t cultural or traditional. It’s purely a white man’s adaptation.
They should’ve all been tying the wrapper if tradition meant that much to them. |

StarFlux: The same still applies.
Culturally confident people won't readily adapt foreign names. There is no "practicality" in taking a white man's name; it's all for assimilating oneself into becoming one. Stuff like this only happens in former colonial states, nowhere else. You have clearly become an oyinbo though. Even labeling people as "primitive" based on their names. Lmao, only in Africa. LMFAO. LMFAO. I’m anything but oyinbo. Anything but. I’m as far from unseasoned chicken as I can be. I’ve got paprika, brown sugar and maggi rolled on my honey skin as we speak. |

StarFlux: OK. Abeg, so you see the French or the Germans discarding their culture and language for the sake of English? Rara o. You are inept if you think that is the case. English in Nigeria goes far beyond the scope of "practicality".
English culture and language is seen as the epitome of success in this country sef. Dressing like a westerner, eating, talking and acting like one means one is "civilized" in Nigeria. See the parents who refuse to teach their children their mothertongues, and see the literal adaptation of western-style education in this country. Literally everything here is built upon the british' way of life. If you are a villager, you are a loser. Because you live the traditional way, free of massive wasteful consumption, you are deemed inferior.
Who is really inferior though, the olodo who cannot think for himself and has to bow down to his colonial masters, or the villager who sustains this country through his hard work? The reason this country cannot progress is because of the olodos thinking they are better than their ancestors.
At last I must congratulate the British for successfully breaking the African mind and creating a political elite of white man's slaves who will do anything to speak their language and be like them when we should be more like the villager. I’m talking solely about naming and nothing else. Go off on tangents with me and miss my point if you want but I know what I said and meant. |
