Maybe maybe not but honestly the government actually has more pressing issues to address in Lagos than demolishing people's buildings and businesses. For a center of excellence, the state of Lagos roads, schools, health centers, markets and motor parks are all in a sorry state. Lastma is a joke and Agberos reign as kings.
Demolish?

They said vacate so the properties can be used for the intended purpose.
Residential should be residential.

Apart from the unnecessary noise and other environmental issues they bring along, have you noticed that rent has gone up?

The demand for few available houses is just too much.

Churches, mosques, clubhouses and other businesses should move to areas designed for such activities and let residential environments remain so.

Let's for once be okay with doing the right thing and stop antagonizing everything!

You want your country to develop, when they decide to take decisions to that direction, you antagonize it again.

Shhh what exactly do you people want?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Mtn Epileptic Network Just Cost Me A Job by Procashtips(m): 9:27am On Jan 31, 2024
Greatzeus:
Your excuse is not cogent enough.
One, network instability is location prone at a particular time,it's not happening everywhere. The Mass feeding that location was experiencing network problem. You could have moved to another area from where you are, with your phone or laptop or router if you use one.
Two,I am sure every Nigerian uses at least 2 SIM cards on each phone. Why didn't you buy data on the other network on your phone as and use? Will it be too much? Compare to years of joblessness?
You were not desperate enough to get a job, perhaps you had a job you're doing now or someone is still feeding you.
This is a ridiculous and absurd excuse.
What made you think he had the luxury of changing location or switching to another network?

What if he was at a current work place where he couldn't leave nor get another network to connect to?

Or was even trying to apply codededly?

Like I always say.. one size cap doesn't fit all. Soundproofing worship centres to curb noise pollution is not a bad idea but forcing them to relocate outside residential areas is taking it too far.
Maybe because they were not supposed to be there in the first place?

This man is clever by half.

Of what use is floating the naira when black market still have their own rate?

People still go to sell their hard currencies in the black market and not at the so called official markets/banks.

666 doesn't mean a physical number on your body, rather a means of ID before you can trade in whatever.

You get am. To become the US president today, you either have to be from the Democratic or Republican party. There is no middle ground.

So, how is it a democracy when you only have two pre-selected options? Little wonder all US presidents are more or less the same thing, irrespective of their parties. They all start wars, topple democracies, and kill innocent women and children before turning around to cry wolf and paint themselves as the victim.

The worse part is that American voters don't even decide who between these two people becomes president.

- Americans voted for Al Gore in the 2000 election but George Bush was announced winner.
- Americans voted for Hilary Clinton in the 2016 election but Trump was announced the winner.

Why? Because the real voters are a small group of people called the Electoral College. They vote for the US president. And whoever their paymaster tells them to vote for wins, irrespective of what Americans vote for. Is that democracy or democraZy?
Unfortunately the majority don't have a clue what's going on.

This right here is the American and European definition of democracy. You only have a choice when your choice is their choice. When you try to make a different choice, they take that choice away from you. So, did you ever have a choice if you can't make a choice?

We can also see this happening in the US, where those who control the state are trying hard to remove Trump from the ballot.
People think there's democracy in the West

They gjve you options to pick.

And you must still pick their exact options from the options given to be seen as 'democracy'.

Setting options for people in the first place isn't even democracy.

You cooked rice and beans and then claim you have given me options.

Why not ask me what I want first before putting up any option?

I'm just considering the sophisticated hardware and budget they have (thanks to USA). Most countries can't cope with that although personnel wise, I believe Israel is less powerful than Mali.
If they are not the ones who owns these weapons, then they can't be said to be powerful. If you need help from another country to fight a few thousands rebels, then you're not a powerful nation.

More like the most overpampered army in the world. Honestly speaking, I don't rate the IDF above any military in the world. They are certainly more powerful than most, but I have no respect for them.
How can they be powerful than most?

How many wars have they fought alone for just 2 weeks?

⚡In Polish cities, almost half of married couples - the number of which is gradually decreasing - have no children

And in informal relationships - the number of which is growing rapidly - the majority are childless

Under 300 000 children were born in 2023. This is the lowest ever recorded.

South West control the media in this part of the world and since it's their person, they rather suffer in silence than call him out.

Most of the monies I made under Buhari's government, Tinubu's government is trying to wipe them off.

From ₦447 this time last year to almost ₦1,000 is a mystery! (Both official rates)

Unofficial rate = ₦594 (Jan 2023) to ₦1415 (Jan 2024)

Imagine having a worth of ₦100m in Jan 2023, what do you think you're now worth?
