I would not argue on New Owerri beating Lekki in terms of Aesthetics and Infrastructure but not in property appreciation. Lekki axis is the fastest growing area in West Africa which has led to unprecedented price growth over the years.

I agree on the stress level involved though when buying land in Lagos.

Yes, I quite agree that Lekki will fetch higher rent but the difference with new Owerri is not worth the risk involved in buying the land, the high cost of biulding in a place Lagos, the waterlogged nature of the place that might cost a lot remedy & the excessive taxation in Lagos.

Wether for private abode or commercial estate, the ROI in Owerri is almost the same! New Owerri is very much comparable to Lekki in terms ofaesthetics, goods roads, nice apartments, well cut flowers & lawns etc. Lagos is just an urban jungle were life is very stressful!
