Gotze1:Lol, where is the Nord factory located ? Or you mean an empty warehouse with pallets and five guys sitting on the imported CKD vehicles ![]() |
lucasalves:Nord is just importing CKD vehicles and couples them here. There is nothing special in what he is doing. I wonder how a sane person will want to compare a company that exists only in name and an empty warehouse with a vehicle manufacturing company like Innoson. Jokers, we will watch out and see what happens in the coming years. |
gwafaeziokwu:God bless you for this enlightening piece. The hateful and ignorant bigots from the waste are so jealous of Innoson. They always feel threatened by Igbo exploits which makes them to always try to measure up with Igbos but they often end up making a fool of themselves. How can a sane person compare a showroom company like Nord to Innoson? Nord is just like Coscharis, Elizade or Chagoury but the only difference between them is that while these ones import full body specs, Nord on its own imports CKD that are reassembled on arrival. The fact that Nord has hastily bought another land when they are staying in an empty warehouse shows they have no intention of going into real manufacturing like Innoson but are probably a front established by a well connected politician who wants to corner some deals under the guise of locally sourced cars. Nord in its present form can't add any significant value to Nigeria whatsoever. However, in contrast, Innoson will boost Nigeria's drive towards industrialization. Innoson will create massive jobs directly and indirectly. Innoson will earn forex for Nigeria while saving capital flight. Innoson will help the military. Innoson will promote the image of Nigeria and put it on the map of car manufacturing countries. Through its academy, Innoson is developing local technology that will help it to survive and become a global player like Toyota and the rest. Innoson is one of the best things to happen to us in recent times and no amount of hate, jealousy or bigotry by these waste people will diminish his exploits. |
To be realistic, there is nothing to celebrate here, at least not yet. Anybody with cash and a little connection can actually do this. If you holistically look at what these Nord guys are doing, you will discover that these guys are probably a front for some politicians who want to corner some deals. Ask yourself, why would a company that just came up yesterday, be buying another massive acres of land when they are yet to understand the industry? These guys are obviously in this for importation reasons. Let's wait and see what happens in say five to ten years time. |
winterfell007:Na wa for you, is it that you're not smart enough to decipher that the guy you quoted is a typical bigot afonja?? You're fast in joining others to castigate Igbos yet you lack objectivity to do so. These same guys you're supporting are the ones that always criticize Innoson unnecessarily. Nord shouldn't and can't be compared to Innoson yet except for mischief. They only import parts and body 100% in CKD containers and recouple them. However, Innoson manufactures most of its parts in Nigeria and buys others from local manufacturers in Nnewi but imports its engines. Innoson is the type of industry that can effectively grow Nigeria through massive job creation, forex earnings, technology transfer etc. What Nord is doing is no different from what the likes of Coscharis, Elizade and Chagoury are doing i.e. selling another company's products that were wholly manufactured abroad. The only thing is that while these ones import their cars in full body while Nord imports its own in CKD thus they offer no value to Nigeria in real terms. Ndi iberibe ana akogheri. |
AreaFada2:Lol, such a funny guy. Does the okoro or uwa in Bini bear the meaning with same names in Igbo? Virtually all languages have similar sounding names but mostly with different meanings. There are Igbo words and Yoruba or Hausa or even English words that sound alike without having same meaning so what's your point? Bini prince who was named Ezechima? An Igbo name or does Ezechima has any meaning in Bini? If Ezechima sojourned in Benin at some point and later returned to Igboland, so it now means he originated from Benin? If he was originally from Benin, then why was he called Ezechima instead of those awful and difficult to pronounce names of yours? If Ezechima was of Benin descent, then why or how did he end up with Igbo language, culture, and tradition instead of Bini's? |
Ceremony kwa? Just because an airport was repaired When Kano, Abuja, Lagos and Kaduna airports were repaired, I didn't see any fanfare but look at how Enugu own is being presented like they've done Igbos a huge favour. Open the airport already and save us all these embarrassment please!! |
AreaFada2:I'm sorry, you're not making sense. What do you mean by Anioma originating from Bini? If they're of Bini descent then why are there nothing to show or prove that aside fantasizing about some ridiculous myths and legends? Are you saying that the progenitor of all Anioma people was a Bini man but his descendants later abandoned the Bini language, culture, tradition and even physical looks and replaced it that of Igbos? What's your point exactly with all these Bini land grabbing argument? |
When it comes to Igbos in Nigeria, you start hearing all manner of bullsh1t in order to justify their entrenched Igbophobia tendencies. Fulani herdsmen was named among the world's most deadliest terror groups, killing Nigerians in their thousands, yet no one used it against them or tried to profile them. Did it stop Buhari from contesting and did it stop you all from voting for him? Did Boko Haram stop Atiku from contesting and did it stop him from almost winning if not for rigging? Now they feel like they can use IPOB to blackmail Igbos. Many Nigerians are evil minded, and that is why the country is going in circles. He must come to equity must come with clean hands!! |
Aufbauh:Stop concoting lies and fallacies. You guys have never loved nor embraced the Igbos in the history of Nigeria! Even before independence, Igbophobia was a pasttime in Northern Nigeria, partly because we are Christians and partly because we are aggressively progressives. These two issues are what made you guys to hate Igbos for no just cause. Ahmadu Bello's anti Igbo statements is still available on the internet for anyone to confirm. The despicable statements made on the floor of Northern Nigeria house of assembly against Igbos are still available online. I don't think IPOB has come into existence when they were made and neither had Nzeogwu led the coup. The hate and anti Igbo sentiments has always been there! |
The idiat that wrote this nonsense fake news isn't even smart enough to make it believeable. Ohanaeze never wrote that nonsense, and anyone who is smart should know that already. |
gregyboy:The funny thing is that you're quite a novice yet claiming to be well informed. Go to Bonny island, deep in Ijaw territory, and see the indigenes speaking fluent Igbo and same with other places in Ijaw land, yet you don't see us claiming those people and places as Igboland despite all these factors. Yet you want to leave your rustic villages and start claiming people that have no linguistics, tradition or cultural similarity with you? Even in terms of physical appearance, there is no similarity whatsoever. Why would you see Anioma claiming Igbo when they're already Igbo? What is the meaning of Anioma in Bini? If they're not Igbo, will they be answering Igbo names, observing Igbo cultures and tradition? Would they even be part of Ohanaeze to start with if they're not Igbo? Go and tell Ngozi Okonjo Iweala or the most prominent ruler in Anioma, the well learned Obi of Asaba, Chike Edozien that they're not Igbo and see what they would do to you. There are asmall settlement of Igalas in Anambra and Enugu, so because they're in South East now means they are Igbo and no longer Igala? To whom brain is giving, sense is expected. |
IDENNAA:Honestly, I really blame some of the Anioma people who doesn't understand the implications of allowing such insult by these guys to stand against them. People are relying on myths and legends to claim being superior to another group of people that are totally different from them. Of what benefit would associating with Benin offer to the Anioma people when they're even more populous, more educated, and more endowed in terms of human and natural resources than the said Bini, a minority group with nothing to offer? |
AreaFada2:I don't blame people like you, rather I blame some of the misguided people in Anioma land who does not understand the implications of allowing your cooked up myths and legends to stand instead of outrightly rebuking anybody that makes such ridiculous statement. I will personally consider it an insult for someone of a totally different identity and origin to impose themselves on me and claim I belong to their clan. Does it mean I don't have my own origin? Are you saying that Bini is superior to Anioma and they've to kowtow to them? The Yorubas are already proving with evidence that the Royal stool in Benin is being ruled by their descendants and that Oba of Benin is under the authority of Ife, instead of you to channel your energy into either proving them wrong or accepting it, you are here insulting Anioma people. |
gregyboy:I don't know why you guys like decieving yourselves. What makes Anioma different from Mbaise, Nkanu, Ohafia, Owerri, Asa etc? So any Igbo community that lies in the South South automatically becomes an ethnic nationality that is different other Igbos in the South East? What is the definition of tribe and ethnicity? Or are you saying that a phrase called South South that was recently coined for political convenience (even when it has no meaning in geography, cardinal point nor is it even in constitution) is now more authoritative in determining a person's identity than their heritage that has been part of them since the very beginning? |
SUFFERInSMILIIN:Every country in the whole wide world can now use Nigeria to shine because we have a very useless and clueless leadership. These men we have in government have no pride and dignity both to their persons and the offices they occupy, instead they're after primitive accumulation of illgotten wealth. Nigeria is now a big for nothing country. Instead of these guys to hit little Ghana below the belt and send them into recession through carefully ochestrated policies, they're here telling shameful sob stories as if they are helpless on what to do. Even if they don't care about Nigerians, even if they don't give a hoot about our corporate image that is being rubbished in the most attrocious way, then don't they have self respect? Don't they have dignity?? These guys are so irresponsible and foolish!!! |
Rossinky:Ghana is obviously biting more than they can chew. They have embarrassed, humiliated and insulted Nigeria and Nigerians to an extent that no normal country would accept and what makes it the more ridiculous is that we are talking about a little banana republic here! What Ghana is doing to Nigeria can be likened to Vietnam trying to humiliate China and we all know how it will go down, China will make them to suffer terrible consequences! So the question is, why would Nigeria be tolerating all these indignities from Ghana when we have all it takes to bring them to their knees and have them come begging in Aso rock?? For a start, we can immediately stop gas flow to Ghana. We can place embargo on trade with Ghana, no more imports or exports to them. Including their films and music videos shot there. We pass a law that will nullify any certificate obtained from Ghana schools going forward, and direct all Nigerians schooling there to transfer back to private universities in Nigeria if the public ones are not good enough or just go elsewhere aside Ghana. A tit for tat by sacking their embassy and consulate workers in Lagos and Abuja, and seal of the premises under any guise. A tit for tat by placing more punitive measures against their nationals in Nigeria in the way of harrasments and high levies for papers. We can rally other West African countries against them, and isolate them. We have the clout to do so. Encourage Nigerian brands to divest from Ghana and go elsewhere. Any smart country and leader would do this and bring these guys to their knees which will make others to take lessons. |
Are they just waking up? Imagine little banana republics like Ghana humiliating Nigeria and Nigerians like they are some super power and these guys are so clueless on how to deal decisively with Ghana?! Big shame!!! |
They should stay there and allow all these banana republics to be humiliating them like say tomorrow no dey. Rubbish! |
I'm beginning to like this man's guts. Southerners and Middle belt should support him totally. If more governors and leaders continue to challenge all these nonsense courageously, we will be one step away from ending it. Good one Ortom! |
24SEVEN:Abia state is only behind the Asa people based on the fact that most of them are actually Aboriginal to Abia state but due to Imo river that was used as natural boundary between Abia and Rivers states, they found themselves in the latter. Imo state too also have some of our areas carved into Rivers State but ikwerre is never part of it, so we have no business with ikwerre. The Etche, Asa, and Ndoki only need to unite as Igbos and with the support of Igbos living in Rivers state, they will become the majority. |
Obalatule:It is not just the Ijebus who are not Yorubas, the Aworis too have made it clear they're not. Same as those in Kwara. The only real Yorubas are the Oyo and parts of Osun. |
SLAP44: ![]() Very funny dude ![]() You may be speaking jargons and acting like the class clown, yet the truth continues to fall from your mouth. From my own studies of some recently excavated scrolls, there is now a new and overwhelming evidence that ikwerres are not from Benin but actually Igala. Akalaka's father was the lost son of the Attah of Igala who ran away from Ogorimagongo in 3000BC. He later arrived in present day Aluu community where he established a camp and took up a new identity. This new discovery is really causing serious tension and may pitch the Attah of Igala against the Oba of Benin as both struggle over the ownership of ikwerre and the surrounding areas stretching from Calabar in the East to Eko in the West. |
Audio people and their useless propaganda. You claim he is the best governor with word of mouth then everybody should believe you because you said so?? How about listing the things he is doing or has done to merit being the best governor?? How about showing us pictures as prove to back up your claims the same way people from Ebonyi always do to show that Umahi is the best?? Awon pay per post BMC crew ![]() |
They have a crab mentality and are busy fighting themselves instead of uniting to fight the oppressors. The ikwerre thinks they've arrived since they've ruled for 16 years back to back. They think Igbos are their enemy and go about poisoning the minds of Igbo communities in Rivers State against the larger Igbo ethnic group, when common sense should have made them understand that standing together against a common enemy is the easiest way to achieve greater results. |
AmuDimpka:Their leaders are terrible and the followers too are very very dull. I pity them and the generations yet unborn because they will suffer untold consequences for being so unreasonable and thoughtless. If the governors there has sense, they would have held a crucial meeting amongst themselves and reach a conclusion that any oil company without its head office in the region shouldn't be allowed to operate. Look at the federal roads there, all in terrible conditions yet they're not even a priority. The same federal government that neglected them is building infrastructures all over the North and Lagos areas. They throw them some crumbs at the NDDC, they steal everything. Look at the cities and tell me if there is anything to show that this region is one of the world's richest in oil resources. Slums everywhere. Poverty. Cultism. Unemployment. Hopelessness. Pollution. They are not even questioning why everywhere is in tatters despite all the billions of dollars leaving the region. The leaders are irresponsible, same as those being led. |
pmoye:Don't mind the hypocrites. They will have mouth to talk about the one happening in far away America but won't even say or do anything to challenge the attrocities being committed by the police and army in Nigeria. A similar or even worse incident than this occurred in Enugu few days ago, but they glossed over it, some even supported the killing of those people in Enugu but you see them coming here to say rubbish about what is happening in America. Nonsense!! |
collum:What do you have to say about the killing of civilians in Enugu by the Nigerian army? Is there any difference between this incident in the United States and that tragedy that occurred in Enugu? Or is it only American Black lives that matter?? |
Wow, I'm bawled by the solidarity shown by these people and organizations. This is why I always pray that this nation will forever remain the world's only super power. Racism against Blacks is prevalent globally but it is people in the United States that are really making a concious effort to put a stop to it. Here in Nigeria, you see people supporting the useless army for killing people in Enugu because they were holding a meeting. Yet there was no outrage, no anger, no demand for change. Instead some hopeless barbarians were even supporting the ragtag Savage army. So shameful and disgusting. |
RuggedSniper:Another load of rubbish! So you've given up on your people in Ilorin who the Fulanis have been subjugating since the 19th century to be claiming Anioma that has no relationship with you, be it in language, culture, tradition, food, or even appearance?? How pathetic can these people be |
Igboid:These guys are so pathetic and ridiculous. He is obviously afraid that Etche people are abandoning them in their stupidity and it made him to lose his senses. Ndia ga ata afufu. Okwa uwa ka anyi n'ile no. Echi d'ime, onweghi onye ma ihe oga amu. Even an Ijaw person in this same thread was encouraging the Op to embrace his Igbo heritage but ndi aburu onu si na ha bu ikwerre ana ezuzu. My happiness is that by the time other Igbos return fully under one umbrella with us, they would be far gone and would be reduced to the minority they obviously are. Uche Okwukwu who is from ikwerre was even saying that Igbos constitute 72% of Rivers voting population. By the time all the other Igbos return to the fold, then I will know if ikwerre can ever rule Rivers again. |
RuggedSniper:Look at this land grabber. You're even displaying a useless map that adds Itshekiri as part of Yoruba. What business does Anioma have with Yoruba? You come all the way from your waste, jump over Edo to claim relationship with Anioma? One of the biggest problems of the Black man is inability to reason properly and logically, and you're a typical example. |
