Don't get it twisted, no particular section of the South can break Nigeria without bloodshed except they agree unanimously. If SW decide to go it alone, North will still use SE or SS to sabotage it and vice versa.

It is only when the entire South demands for it unanimously that it can be easily achieved.

Southerners, especially the politicians are the most stvpid, clueless and dum.b set of people ever.
They have been crying for restructuring since time Imo River as if North is their god or an unquestionable authority.

The North no longer has any regard for them and treats them like conquered territory.

Anything the North owns is exclusively theirs, but everything the South owns is for everyone and meant to shared. The FCT minister, a supposed office that ought to rotate around the various zones is only occupied by them.
Solid minerals in the North such as gold and the rest, is mine by them and the money pocketed. They even sell to federal government at going market prices! However, Oil Wells in the South are mostly owned by them. The ports in the South are also mostly occupied and run by them!
They destroy beer and alcoholic beverages in the North yet they take the highest VAT proceeds from same commodities!

Even the latest SARS issue also underscores how they maltreat the South. Police harrass, intimidate, torture, extort indiscriminately and even kill recklessly here in the South but would never try such in the North! When South complained about SARS and said enough is enough, they countered it and said they should continue!

Some Nigerians errorneously believe that Nigeria is a strong nation that can stand on its own regardless of any challenge. Nothing can be farther from the truth! In real, Nigeria is as weak as any other banana republic out there.

The successful #Endsars protest and the way the government hurriedly bowed to international pressure is another pointer to that. They feared for the following:

1. Members of the government being blacklisted and banned from entering USA & UK.

2. A United South coming together to question the status quo.

Unlike countries like China, Iran, India, Russia, Brazil, Egypt etc. that are truly independent in the real sense of it, Nigeria on the other hand is very weak and dependent.

Had it been the ruling elite over the years were smart, they would have truly believed in Nigeria and made it work for everyone. If they hadn't embezzled everything and stashed the loot abroad, they would have used the humongous revenues earned over the years to build world class hospitals, smart cities, world class infrastructure and amenities, and a very strong economy, and above all, an all inclusive governance. If these things were to be in place, no nation will be dictating to Aso rock and ordering them around like errand boys.

This has proven what informed polical observers already know, which is the fact that Nigeria can be very easily broken up. The day the whole South agrees unanimously and decides to go for break-up of Nigeria, that will be the end of the country.

The North can have the FSARS, we don't need it down South.
Next agenda is going to be either #Restructure Nigeria or #EndNigeria.

For those that errorneously think that Nigeria is a strong nation, the outcome of this protest should now tell you better. Nigeria is as weak as any other African country and the West will always arm-twist your leaders and force them to behave if they feel there is need.

Do you think if it were strong and "independent" countries like China, Russia, India, Iran etc. that they would have bowed to international pressure? Of course not, they won't bow because they're truly independent in every ramifications, so they won't take orders from Washington, London or Paris.

Nigeria will equally seize to exist once Southerners unanimously agree to end it and holistically mount serious pressure against it.

Nature always has a way creating a balance when the ecosystem can no longer support itself. Nigeria can't support itself any longer, and going forward, something very significant is going to give.

As a country, Nigeria now live on debt, population growing alarmingly, its growth rate insignificant, frustration increasing, its institutions in various degrees of bastardization. Nothing else could be expected than chaos and upheavals that will reset everything back to default.

It is not about what you wish or hope for, but what is actually going to happen.

The protest is beginning to take a pattern, and more people are now wondering why it is only taking place in mostly Southern Nigeria while Northern Nigeria is silent like a graveyard.

Worse still, there is information that some Northern cities want to start organizing pro SARS protests. Whether these planned pro SARS protests in the North are sponsored or spontaneous, it is definitely going to be dangerous for Nigeria. This is because while Southerners have this believe that North is directly or remotely the cause of Nigeria's lack of development/progress, now that the South is unanimously asking for the disbandment of SARS, should the North go all out to support it, it will create a We vs. Them scenario

Such balanced opposing views has never been experienced before in Nigeria, and coming at a time Southerners are mostly nursing a feeling that Nigeria must either be restructured with more autonomy to the constituents or completely broken up, it will surely cause serious cracks that could lead to breakup.

Currently, the protests that was thought to be an isolated event happening in some remote localities in Delta State has spread to Lagos and is gradually engulfing the whole country.
Nigerians, especially the youths have been perenially lambasted for never being able to organize themselves and challenge the Nigerian system that was from the beginning created to keep them perpetually down. However, they've found a perfect opportunity to leverage a social media inspired movement to vent their frustration.

It seems like those in government are either not seeing the handwriting on the wall due to their greed or are helpless to make any serious attempts to counter it. However, Nigeria is currently at a crossroads, or more succinctly put, at the precipice.

Those in government are erroneously seeing the ongoing #Endsars protests as a little disturbance or storm in a tea cup that will soon fizzle out, but alas, they would be shocked when the monster that is silently brewing under their noses, will be fully unleashed.

I have studied other revolutions that occurred in other climes and if they're anything to go by, then there is serious cause for alarm and I will give you reasons. The world is now globalized and issues happening in other climes sometimes tend to have domino effect in far off places. Once global attention is giving to any protest, it always goes wild. Check the Arab Spring, #Blacklivesmatter, Sudan protests etc. The basic reason why protests snowball once global attention is giving to it, is because the protesters will become emboldened once they realize that they have the moral support of many people, and more importantly, giving that their national government will be under severe pressure.

In Nigeria today, there are more unemployed or underemployed people than gainfully employed people, which has given rise to large numbers of frustrated and hopeless people who has come to the fatal realization that there situation is never going to change.

You're obviously a kid who knows nothing about international politics and conflicts. I will advice you to go and read up on international conflicts in places like Congo, Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda. Also read about conflicts in the Middle East.

Biafra will be a homogeneous country made up of one people, one religion and one culture. Niger Delta on the other hand, will be made up of several ethnicities, different cultures and religion, which is a recipe for disaster. All Biafra will do, if we want to reduce Niger Delta to its knees will be to fight a proxy war with them. We will look at any tribe that is feeling disgruntled and has the capacity to challenge the central government, then we will arm them and provide cover for them to begin a rebellion against the central government. We may arm the Ikwerre or the Ogoni etc. and viola they will keep P.H busy. This is exactly what has been happening in those places I told you read up on.

If Niger Delta were to be made up by one ethnicity like Biafra, it would have posed a serious threat but with the way it is, forget it, they will always be at Biafra's mercy
