Chemistry, chemical engineering what is the difference? Chemistry engineering. I don't know much about the chemical engineering course but the only person I know who did that course is currently a teacher.

They are actually different.
It is called chemical engineering for a reason.

I am a graduate chemical engineer trainee in a manufacturing industry currently, and there are numerous job opportunities for chemical engineers in Nigeria here.

Chemical engineers are more into process design. You can see chemical engineering as a combination of mechanical engineering and industrial chemistry.

For instance, a chemist can react some chemicals in the lab to get a desired product that is very valuable, but reproducing such a process on a large scale involves engineering (process design).

The chemical engineer is involved but not limited to the material and energy balances for the entire process. How much raw materials is needed to achieve a set production rate while also maximizing energy requirements to minimize the cost of production?

This is just a simple difference between a chemist and a chemical engineer.
