Calm your wife down & tell her to be patient with you to handle the situation. Call him privately, maybe over drinks not too far away from the house.

Make him feel relaxed. Ask him how he would feel if someone beat up his wife? Make him understand that he has demeaned & insulted you. Let him know you're highly offended & you will not let it slide. Accept that you're no physical match for him but tell him you know other ways to fight.

Request that he apologise to your wife to close the issue. Say all these calmly but be tough.

Should he refuse or start a scene, do not fuss. Connect with a tough local police in your area, be friend him (drinks & cash) for sometime. Tell him your problem, tell him you want the guy set up. He'll arrange it or advice you on how to go about it or provide brighter ideas.

Wow! I also experienced something similar last month. I was in my kitchen when the lightning struck. I felt it in my right arm. I was standing close to the kitchen door. It was like an electric shock. It was very scary experience.

This is very serious. Any of your neighbors living in duplex house? Please if there are duplexes around you, encourage the landlords to install lightening arrester on their roof top. It is very very important, it saves lives. It saves you from domestic accidents, particularly if you have poor electrical connection systems. It saves the community from unexplained deaths.
This Copper device (lightening arrestor) helps in attracting and evacuating any thunder within the vicinity. The high electric voltage associated with thunder will be dissipated deep under the earth.

If that is the case you have to quickly do it right away. The same thing happened in our office as a matter of fact it happened in the whole area around my office and so many equipments got burnt that day, my boss spent roughly $50,000 do get most of the equipments fixed back and those that were beyond repair, we bought new ones. Mind you, the building has an earthing in it but got bad overtime.

I don’t think there is proper earthing in that building, you might need to call the house owner and draw his attention to it and if the building is yours, you might need to check it again to be sure is not faulty. Thank God for your life, but don’t ignore the warnings.

Am still in shock with what happened to me and my wife this morning. The rain started around 4am this morn with lot of thunder and still raining right now.
While on bed my wife requested i help her with her phone which we normally put beside our bed on the rug, (we only use foam on the floor without the wooden bed) our two sons was sitting on the rug beside us.
Immediately i touched the phone their was thunder all over my hand through my chest and my leg and because my wife's body was in contact with mine the thunder struck her too, one of my son of 6 years and my wife saw the fire that run through our body and we all shouted Jesus name and i was able to drop the phone. The phone was not connected to charger and their was no light.All this happened within a seconds to God be all glory he saves our life from thunder. Nairalander help me thank God
