This will go a long way to confirm my assertion that the pdp was not the only party that rigged in the elections. Even the cpc who has been claiming holier than thou attitude also sunk itself in the rigging pool. The only difference was that the pdp rigged better.. |
Pdp as a party should short up. They have failed woefully. They continue to rule base on the two major factors of nigerian politics- religion and ethnicity. Mr metu should not insult the sensibilities of nigerians by linking his party's control in power with performance, far from it. They have continue to feed fat on the complex nature of the nigerian socio-political system. Unless the opposition realise this, their quest for power will continue to be an illusion. |
@ op simple ethics should have alerted you of reporting the other side of the posted comments. Why are guys determine to rubbish even the slightest achievement of this man, haba. Sometimes when i look at the insults and causes rained on gej, i wonder if any other nigerian president would tolerate this. |
If you are humble and responsible then you being a graduate will earn you more respect from people. |
Well am currently serving in ekiti state. In my view i think it worth serving. It is a very vital tool for the federal government to promotes is policies and programmes through its various agencies such as mdgs, naca, nema etc. It gives you an opportunity to acquire skills, you learn the culture and traditions of others of which you may not have had such opportunity, you have access to loans provided by the scheme and its partner agency. Though there are challenges but the advantages far outweighed the disadvantages. |
CAN should short up. If bk strikes tomorrow, they should not blame gej on this. They should be strategising on how to go on the offensive beginning from this evening. That is the only option left. Shame on them if tomorrow bk strikes and they are helpless. |
Osaze has been the most consistent player for the past ten years and has earned my respect. Anything he says about our football has my support. |
The system itself is an epitome of corruption. If you are not corrupt you cant get there. With this i can safely say that all i mean all nigerian political leaders are corrupt but some are more corrupt than others. |
Personally nobody in that list deserves the award. I dont know what is wrong with silverbird group, i mean is it a must that somebody must win in every year. They should learn from the mo ibrahim award of leadership in africa. |
Raymondenyi: Dat won't be a good 1 @ all; pls my fellow youths and Nigerians, It gives me no joy to see , wat our nation is and how d old wines have refused to allow the country tek its form and reshape into wat we all wants, It will really be of no use to come here ranting and typing 4rm d convenience of our home, no country gets revolution like dis, we re the youths, if the old cargos and political pensioners dat will all delapidate d country 4 us, and die 2 leave us continue surfering 4 dia misdemeanors, I think its our duty 2 stand up 2 it, and protest it to d teeth! Personally as an individual who hails from the same senatorial district with gej am ready to go with this ticket if things remain as it is. But the question is will the muslim core north see it this way considering the fact that they will be receiving the vp plot. This is the one million dollar question. Some of us today who are fans of gej are not doing it because he had done much in our lives but as a result of the born to rule mentality of the muslim north. If they dont want gej fine, other candidates like Fashiola, Okorocha, Ngozi, David Mark etc are available for them to choose. They should stop insulting our sensibilities with the likes of buhari and the mentality of ''the north must rule in 2015" cos it wont work. |

If gej did not complete the east west road, passed the petroleum industry bill into law and the inability to improve the power supply to a managerial level then i will go for the duo Ibrahim Shekarau/Ngozi Okonjo. In my opinion this ticket will take care of the four major factors in nigerian elections- religion, ethnicity, zone and to some extent credibility. |
Kind of agree with him to some extent especially when he admitted that this dramatic improvement started on monday cos that was when we began to experienced a relativey improved power supply in my area. I just hope they sustain it. |
To be candid am happy when some of you as a result of ignorance castigate the personality of prophet Tb Joshua because that is the only way foreigners and myself can find easy and comfortable access to the synagogue church of all nations. One could imagine how difficult it would have been if lagos with a population of over 18 million with 90 percent of that figure who live in less than a dollar a day should discover the importance of the ministry prophet tb joshua in their lives. Continue to fool yourselves while some people continue to benefit from the grace of God in the life of prophet tb joshua. |

I know stella damascus to be a lady with pride. If she had not done anything she would not have lamented, anyway nice one stella and God bless. |
[quote author=1stCitizen]I am not a member of T.B Joshua's church and neither do I have immediate plans to become one. However, his philanthropic deeds compared to the deeds of other Jet owning fleecing gang of thieves parading as General Overseers makes one to remember the short bible verse "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" Guy please verify your facts before ranting rubbish. For the purpose of records the man of God senior prophet Tb Joshua did mention of six persons not nine. Guys like you are causing more havoc to the image of man of God than his critics. |
In my view it is a welcome development. If the us could send enough drones to siphone out the life of imam shekau and islamic fundamentalism in northern nigeria then no sacrifice is too big for us to pay. |
Whether we like it or not, state police is only a matter of time. It is gradually springing out with different colour. I pray it succeeds in imo state. |
meksroland: you're also wrong, oil was first discovered in Ikeduru LGA of imo state but was first discovered in commercial quantity in Oloibiri.this is the reason i hated history. So many distorted facts confusing the upcoming generation. |
I thought gov uduaghan gave a 24 hour ultimatum for security agencies to fish out the kidnappers. I have said in another thread that the security agencies should be careful, they should treat this case with all sense of caution. They have started searching for her in the nooks and cranny of delta state. Common sense should have alerted them that the planned and systematic operation would not make the kidnappers to hide the victim in the state. I think the farouk-otedola approach should be a viable alternative. |
Free and fair election is a function of the infrastructural development of a country. No matter how sincere and objective an electoral umpire may may be, if there are no adequate infracture, politicians will always manoeuvre their way. |
As if corpers were absent when students were performing better in exams. |
Am using this medium to call on the cjn to fulfill her promise of appointing special judges to fight this stigma called corruption. Madam mariam muktah we are waiting for you . |
My concern is the safety of this woman. Living under the shackles of kidnappers is not funny especially the trained ones. Gov uduaghan and the security agencies should be careful. They should adopt the farouk-otedola approach. |
Sometimes i wonder what is wrong with jni. They tend to cry out when they felt islam is been hurt. One can imagine the reaction of these islamists if a mosque is bombed. |
werepeLeri: I predict that if Seun fails to do something about his forum - jokers and low intellect people will be the ones left making comments on NairaLand.Exactly my friend. I find it difficult to comment cos of the lowl level of IQ exhibited by most individuals on this forum, especially the proponents of ''price of garri' , ''first to comment'' among others. It appears there are more matured minds in the punch newspapers and saharareporters. |
Gov amaechi did relatively well in his first tenure. We thought he could do better. We were dead wrong. This man has continued to loot the state to its knees. He is reported to be the richest gov in the country. He did not stop there, he went and borrowed over three hundred billion naira so as to inflict maximum damage to subsequent administration. He went further to embark on mono rail project that have little or no economic value to the states with billions of naira, yet this project appeared not to have any headway. |
I envy and respect private nigerians that owned private jets cos they have brought revenues for the country through the payments for landing rights and others. But my quarrel is with these criminals called state governors who have found pleasure in using public funds to purchase aircraft at the expense of the suffering masses. |
As for me i have lost hope in this entity called nigeria. I have criticised constructivey and destructively, caused and prayed for these politicians hoping that they will change but it appears the more you talk the more you see. Well i have decided to carry my cross. I have started a course on hacking specifically for government agencies like the nnpc, ministry of petroleum resources, cbn and other lucrative agencies. I cant continue to sit at the fence, i must have a share of this largesse. |
