Politics › Re: I Will Not Wage War Against FG – Tompolo by Progressive01(m): 12:50pm On Jan 28, 2016
News like this are the major reason I keep insisting Tompolo isn't behind the latest bombings and sabotage of oil installations in the ND.

Tompolo certainly doesn't want to have any major confrontation with the FG.

I know some people who've been receiving the news of potential escalation of violence in the Niger Delta with sheer excitement would frown at this noble position he's taken. It was their hope an unstable ND would quicken the realisation of their fabled Utopia.

Tompolo should simply give himself up and assist the FG with credible info as to the people behind the latest incidents. He isn't above the law.
Crime › Re: EFCC Gives Obaigbena Two-week Ultimatum To Refund N670m by Progressive01(m): 11:18am On Jan 28, 2016
The sooner these guys realise that this government isn't backing down on its pursuit of recovery of stolen State assets, the better for them all.
Politics › Re: Buhari Sends Money Laundering, Criminal Activities Bills To Senate-vanguard by Progressive01(m): 10:12am On Jan 28, 2016
Would the Senate support a bill that seeks to curb their illegal activities?? I pretty much doubt it.

Politics › Re: Why Ahmed Gulak Is Right To Assume The National Chairmanship Position Of PDP by Progressive01(m): 8:44am On Jan 28, 2016
The soul of the party moved from the hands of the people to those of corrupt and greedy men that empower foot soldiers to constantly offend people of non-SS/SE extraction, and non sympathisers of Kanu-secessionist IPOD movement.

These people made PDP appear like a party of only Nnamdi Kanu IPOD sympathisers (opposition to this group was seen as anti-PDP by these people). In fact, the party's image became so battered that it shamelessly came to open defence of those standing trials for corruption, a position it has. NEVER taken before now.
I don't normally comment on the op's threads (got my reasons), but on these lines, lemme just say- "spreads mat, grabs popcorn and zobo". grin

They'd descend hard on this nuccur- I mean REALLY HARD!!

Politics › Re: Buhari Has Seen The Wisdom In Continuing With What I Started- Jonathan by Progressive01(m): 6:52am On Jan 28, 2016
What exactly did the Clueless Drunken criminal achieve besides granting thieves presidential pardon, formulating theories to excuse criminals of their acts such as the "stealing is not corruption" theory and the "Yam and Goat"??

This fool should shut his mouth already. He sounds wiser when he does.

TonyeBarcanista:
Well, this victory is for Rivers people. Peterside should lobby for a PA position to Amaechi grin
Let me just bury my pride and hate and say this: Congrats to you, congrats to Truckie, congrats to Dearpreye. Relish your victory. We thought we would be heading to the polls again but the judges know better.

Indeed, this is a victory for Rivers people. I'm just curious as to why some other persons who've got nothing to do with this seem to be the ones opening threads on you guys' behalf.

Anyway, congrats.

@ Caseless, we lose to win some other day. Just count this as a victory for democracy generally. wink
Politics › Re: Akpabio's Bid To Withdraw $7.2bn From Dubai Banks Collapse by Progressive01(m): 6:32am On Jan 28, 2016
Adminisher:
Akpabio is very corrupt but this story is a BIG LIE.
Akpabio will eventually end up in prison but not if fake stupidly exaggerated stories are bandied about.
True. No governor in Nigeria has that kind of money or properties in Dubai. It is a big lie.
Politics › Re: Akpabio's Bid To Withdraw $7.2bn From Dubai Banks Collapse by Progressive01(m): 6:27am On Jan 28, 2016

I'd rather not believe this.

okomogo:
[s]To be honest, Buhari is supposed to be EFCC chairman not the president. I applaud his efforts but we need to work on our economy, like Mr Onovo said today, we should set our priorities right, power is no one [/s]
Does EFCC fighting corruption stop the other agencies and ministries from performing their dutieshuh

And who the fvck is Onovo?? How many businesses has he managed successfully in his life?? Simply because he was alleged to have "fought" with and "defeated" Maupe, person no go hear word again.

Politics › Re: EU Happy With Buhari Anti Corruption War. Pledge Support. Vanguard by Progressive01(m): 10:32pm On Jan 27, 2016
The only people dissatisfied with Baba's war on corruption are the Wannabe Israelites, Ekpas, Wailing Cankerworms, and IPOD Touts.

Well meaning Nigerians, United States, European Union and the African Union are all supportive of the campaign to rid the system of that debilitating malaise.

Politics › Re: Wike After His Victory (pic) by Progressive01(m): 10:15pm On Jan 27, 2016
Lol.

Victory is sweet indeed. Remember how it felt when Baba was announced the winner- never felt that level of elation in a looooooong time! cheesy

Meanwhile, the biggest losers would be those last minute decampees. I can imagine themselves like Timipre Sylva after the announcement of the poll result in Bayelsa. grin

Congrats Dearpreye. smiley

I like your choice of words and grammatical structure. But I want to point it out that it is [whose], not "who' s".
Honestly, that mistake has become just about an inseparable part of my diction. I hardly ever notice it. cheesy

Thanks. Will fix it.
Politics › Re: FULL TEXT: Jonathan Speaks On $2.1billion Arms Deal @ Geneva Press Conference by Progressive01(m): 10:03pm On Jan 27, 2016
Like the incorrigible Drunken Criminal he is, he couldn't answer a simple question, running around circles formed in his useless head like the fortunate scoundrel he is.

The foolish drunk always imagines conceding defeat in an election in which he clearly lost automatically frees him from being held to account for his stewardship.

Sir, you are a criminal and it is only a matter of time before the law catches up with your silly rump. You can dodge the questions all you want but when you are eventually made to stand before a judge and defend yourself, we'd see how saleable those flimsy and idiotic excuses of yours would be.

Punk.

Politics › Re: How Tompolo, Others Allegedly Bombed Oil, Gas Pipelines – MEND by Progressive01(m): 4:04pm On Jan 27, 2016
I don't know why I still have this queer feeling Tompolo isn't behind the bombings. That is not to say he shouldn't submit himself to the authorities over his pending court cases though.

The more he plays this hide and seek game, the more he's thought to be guilty of all he's accused of.

Oga, what does an Army Chief or anyone else (besides the big business moguls we have in the country) working for the government earn that would be enough to build such a property in Abuja.

You people just sit in your huts all your life, don't go out, don't mix, and then expect to know about things happening in the real world.

You should shut your trap.

Reading about Chaos within the PDP feels to me like drinking a very chilled bottle of spring water in the middle of Sahara Desert!

Ride on Gulak, we concerned Nigerians are solidly behind you!
