WTF? You posted a vehicle for goin to 2 months with no VIN? Even if the car is not in front of you, it will be in care of someone. There is a magical device called "telephone". You can call the person and they will give it to you. Unless of course the car is not in your care or it doesnt belong to you in the first place. Why you have to travel to get the VIN is beyond my undestanding 

Like i said, UNLESS THE CAR IS NOT YOURS! Car posted for almost two months NO VIN! And you are surprised that the car hasnt sold 

If you cant do what it takes to get the car sold, why even bother at all?

Anyone can walk up to a car lot and take pics. What happened to interior and engine pics? Are you sure you wanna sell these vehicles?

Where are you located? The closest port will be New York/ New Jersey. However, dont forget that you will have to transport the truck from NH to New Jersey.

You will be surprised. Even here in the US the 2004 Honda Civic HX is actually sold as A/C optional! Tho most ppl bought with A/C but u pay extra! The model doesnt even have electric window. ALL ARE MANUAL.

This is just on the HX model civic tho. All others have all good stuff.

And some European vehicles dont have AC cos its not really needed (weather). These cars often made it down to Naija.

I think you are mixing things up yourself. The 2007-2009 Camry have the same shape. The 2010 Camry however is different. The back light is designed different too.

I doubt very much if the container will be able to handle all 4 cars at the same time. The problem is the Sienna. It will handle only 3 sienna or 1 sienna and 3 other cars. I dont think its possible to load 2 sienna with 2 other cars. Also, it depends on what you refer to as "small cars". What types of cars do you have in mind?

You dont need to come to the US, i am a registered dealer here in California. I can arrange things for you. I just need to know what specs you are looking for in those vehicles and i will give you the quote.

Something is a little off here. Why does this car have the same exact mileage in Nigeria as it does while it was at the Department of Motor vehicles (DMV) last year? It looks that the accident was fixed in the US, hence the inspection at the DMV (Almost 3 months gap between accident and inspection)

Unless someone has been carrying this car on their head all along or the vehicle has been towed all the time.  If you take it to the DMV for inspection (which is where the last mileage was recorded) how did you leave the place? Towed?

How was it taken to the shipper? When it got to Naija nko? Was it towed all along.

Or this is not the current mileage? I doubt it that the pic was taken at the DMV right after the mileage was recorded during inspection. Granted this was done over a year ago.

I think this is because these trucks are not your every day vehicles. They are utility vehicles.

May be in naija. Trucks these days are so comfortable you will forget its a truck. The Tundra, Tacomas etc. Leather, DVD, u name it. And you can haul a lot at the back too. Kinda like the best of both worlds

try to separate your pics. The mileage pics is for the 03 and rest of pics is for the 07. However, its somewhat confusing the way you had it posted. Looks like its the mileage for the 07.

I have keenly followed this section for a while now. I however, have noticed that Pick-up trucks in general are very low in demand. (If at all)

I am talking about the TACOMA's, FRONTIER's etc.

I could say that you will be lucky to have a request for 1 pickup for every 200 or so Camry's and Honda's here.

Is it a matter of taste or am i just missing something? What happened? I am talking of trucks like below.

It is not only mortgage. Getting any loan from banks in Nigeria is a problem. Only the rich and famous are able to get loans.

Also, if you look at the rate of loans in Nigerian banks, it can cause somebody headache. If you are used to getting loans for personal or business use in UK, USA and other developed countries, you will be surprise with the system in Nigeria.

The major reason why there is development in UK and USA is the availability of credit facilities at affordable interest rate. In the UK, there are currently interest rate of 6% - 8% for personal loan without any collateral (unsecured loan).

Good and sustained development cannot happen if ordinary people cannot get access to loans. No wonder Nigeria is for the rich and famous and crime is on the increase - killing, stealing, armed robbery, kidnap, etc.

Im not really too familiar with how it works in Naija, however the fact that you are buying a bonnet doesnt mean you wont be charged panel beating cost. The new part has to be installed, aligned, worked out to match the other body BEFORE painting.

You cant just bolt a new bumper/bonnet without doing anything further. Just my thought.

I am going to have to officially name you - (MR VIN)  Is it possible that you are making some money from "Carfax", cos every suggestion you ever make on Nairaland is about "VIN"? You just admitted that your Lexus did 250K miles with no problem and in the same breath you are suggesting that folarina's Lexus might have hard some odometer rollback issues even without an iota of evidence!. You seem to love fearmongering just as much as you love "VIN".  Even if he runs the VIN, will that help him to get his SUV running smooth again??  And for the records, the Lexus/Toyota 3.0L 1MZ-FE VVT-i V6 engine doesn't use spark plug wires, it uses ignition coil packs!

As a matter of fact, I OWN CARFAX!. It doesnt really cost him anything to get his carfax record on this forum. What i am trying to get at is that, SOME PROBLEMS ON A CAR ARE MORE/LESS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO INCREASE IN MILEAGE OF A CAR. Thats why a 120k miles service will address a little bit more issues than a 30k mile service. A 25k mile car is not EXPECTED to have a broken timing belt as opposed to a 90k mile car. ETC ETC

So knowing a tru mileage of a car will help in broadning our thought process a little and we can draw from "expected" issues based on the mileage of the car. A spark plug wire/coil pack   for a 115k miles car should be working properly (by and large). However, that can't be confidently said for a car with lets say 180k miles on the clock.

SO LET IT BE KNOWN THAT ANYTIME U RUN A CARFAX, I MAKE $$$$$. COS I OWN THE COMPANY!!!!

Looks like a good car. However, my gripe is that the car has been IN (3)THREE [b][/b]accidents in its lifetime. Though its a relatively new car. The last accident is my main concern cos its described as severe! Accidents in 2003, 2004 and 2008!

Make sure airbag is there and not deployed tho. and tha its not wobbly when driving. Otherwise you have a great car. It wont be a bad idea to get a very competent mechanic to do a thorough check on the car.

You need to tell us the size and amount of blocks you can supply per day. Do i pick up or you supply with your van?

I dont think the transmission can affect the engine but i will still get them to have a look at the same .

Just my two cents. If i were you, i will run the VIN on the car to REALLY MAKE SURE that the mileage is actual. Unless you are confident of the origin of the car and verify its tru mileage. The reason is that we have seen cars on this forum with  odometer roll back as much as 70k miles!. The danger of rolling back an odometer is that the owner will not know the appropriate time for a needed service.

If you dont mind knowing the possible unpleasant info on the car, i will suggest that u run a VIN to know that you are actually dealing with a car of 115k miles. I am surprised that this problem could be happening this "early" [/b]in the life of the car.

I used to have a LS400 with over 255k miles!. No problem at all. I actually got the car near 250k miles and never a cylinder miss at any time.

[b]What is probably happening in my opinion is that the spark plug wire might be faulty!

When i came across my car from a dealer friend, the car was running very bad and very rough. "I initially thought bad engine/cylinder. A very good service later (changed plugs and spark plug wires) it runs like a brand new engine.

Go to Ladipo mkt, pay some auto dealer with a good used wire set to "test" out and see if it makes a difference. I can almost guarantee you that that will be your problem. While you are at it, get new GENUINE  plugs from Elizade or whoever and replace them. Engine is same as Avalon/V6 Camry/Sienna. SPARK PLUG WIRE IS WHAT I PUT MY BET ON TO BE UR PROBLEM!
