Delta007:Let the VIN do the talking on the mileage. All car depends on who owns it. What if its owned by a govt worker and works locally? Drive to work and back. No travelling per se. So many older people drive camry. They dont travel as much. I bought a classic 1977 Celica GTS Coupe about three years ago with only 29k original miles. Sold it a year later for $7800. Was bought brand new in 1977 by a 60yr old lady. She had the car the entire time until the passed in 2006. I was the second owner. The car was immaculate! The buyer was really happy. There are so many 2002/2003 camry's out there with less than 50k miles still. But if you bring them ppl go start grumbling. Cost too much!! ![]() Stories go begin about how much e dey sell for berger etc. They will start to offer yeye money ![]() Lets see the VIN report and the car pics. |
yemstrad:The pics will be the most determining factor in making judgement along with the VIN. There are lots of raggedy cars with clean VINs out there. ![]() |
sweetnekys:It will run about $2600 just to ship and clear a 2002 Babyboy (That roughly about $1300 to ship and another $1300 to clear). With the falling rate now and the purpose of this argument, i am going to assume a rate of N170 to $1. That will put you about N442,000. Remaining an equivalent of $1760 to buy car and make profit ![]() Did you say a full option 2002? Even a Nigerian used (if its a good one with no issues) will not sell for that. Even if someone steal from the US, i dont think its worth the effort for only $1760. I will like to believe you but i dont. Unless something is wrong with the car itself. YOU ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! |
kuntash:Obviously its a mistake in description. It clearly shows V6 at the back. Hence it cant be a 16-valve. its a 24v 3.5L engine ![]() |
dejgan: dejgan:pics? |
If you have money to burn, keep driving /looking for a BMW. Otherwise, look for a TOYOTA CRESSIDA. Save money and build a house, then drive a cressida. Stop flushing money down the drain. ![]() |
Midas02: sultaan: ![]() |
sweetnekys:This is only 65k miles vehicle! |
smallmoney:I will like to assume that the imput on the CARFAX was wrong. It doesnt make any sense at all. |
As far as i can tell, looks like your interior matched a 1999-2003 Acura TL here in the US. Definately not Accord in the US. I believe your car is Called Honda Adidas in Naija. We dont have that here in the US. The Acura ism the closes cousin. Find a dash from Belgium/Germany or get Acura from US. Why dont u just save money and buy car from the US here? Save a lot of headache ![]() Here is the picture of US Acura Good luck.

@ SuperChg, Thanks. Unless the owner has a different VIN for the car, i guess its what it is. Just as it was posted. A friend of mine was looking to get something like that. I told him about that car. I can send it but friend want the car immediately. Price seems good too, unless of course its not a clean title. Lets see what the owner say about the VIN. I hope its a wrong VIN posted. We'll wait Thanks a lot. |
Igwe.:i no dey ground o. Cant helep you. ![]() |
@ poster, Lets see the pics of the car/dashboard. There some variations in the US/European Hondas. Just to be fully sure that we are on the same page. Good luck |

Oyenit, Pls help run the VIN for this car. Its a honda posted on this forum. VIN check not done yet. Vin is: 1HGCP26868AO35134 This is the link to the car. Looks very sweet. I have a friend that may be interested rightaway. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-273139.0.html |
i will say dry cell. u dont have to top up all the time. ![]() |
My question to the house will be if its possible to "derate" a CAT gen from the US in nigeria to put out 50hz as opposed to the 60hz its design for here in the US. @ poster, what software? may be i can ask around. i dont work on them but can knock on some doors just in case. Also, if you dont mind, i will like to have some info on fast moving CAT parts(tokunbo used) in Nigeria. If possible with their street prices. I am talking of the parts that if i take it home, it will not last 1 week before i sell it all. You can post the answer here or just send me email: promise72@yahoo.com Thanks |
archemedes:Starting with, yes i am a dealer. However, your question is somewhat loaded. There's a lot of price difference between 2002 tru 2005 camrys. Better still what u need to do is state your desire specs (leather, color, mileage, LE/XLE etc) that will help us in narrowing the focus a bit. Also, ur budget is important, I can tell u whether ur expectation is realistic or not ($$$ is coming down a little ) expected to drop some more.If i will buy it for you, this is how it will go. I will have to probably travel to Florida (since its 2 cars, its worth it) or New Jersey to get the cars. This will help u in shipping RO-RO. Theres no RORO from California. RORO shipment is a little cheaper and will get to you faster. Shipping from San Francisco is a little bit more hassle for you and expensive. Also, does the car has to be necessary clean title or looking for salvage? I will charge for going down to Florida for you but your requirement/need will be the way we determin how we approach this issue. Whichever way we go, i can guarantee that the car will at least meet your expectation. I know it will exceed but i dont wanna be accused of bragging so i will at least meet ur expectation. So send me an email at promise72@yahoo.com You can give me some details. i will explain better. I am ready when you are. |
Unfortunately, i dont live in Texas. I live in California. Your friend's time restriction will be a little bit problematic. Your requirement will require a bit of time devotion. Needless to say, it will probably require a dealer's license to access some clean car auction. otherwise, he will have to buy off the street or from personal owner (to save on taxes). Your Shipping option is two. You can ship via container or ship via RO-RO. To ship via RO-RO, car will be moved to Florida (Jacksonville) from Texas (will cost extra) to ship. No RORO option from Texas for small cars. Hope this helps. |

kioboy:Which is very tru. What you need to realise is that many more dealers live in Europe who might be helpful also. Most Nigeria nicknames dont transfer to here/europe. You should make yourself clear. You dont know who can be of help. Good luck |
where do u live? You need to specify what type of auction you are looking for (clean title, accident etc) Some auctions require membership or dealers license i must let you know. Good luck |
kioboy:Not everyone know what is a "Hummer type" hiace looks like. May be you need to post a picture. Between you and me, its hard to imagine how 1.5m will get you a decent 2005 car talkless of a bus. I just want to give you a heads up. You need to be realistic. I hope you get what you looking for |
This is not a 1995. it has to be a 1994 or older. However, its a very clean one and i dont think that 650k is a bad price. Someone should jump on this quick quick. It will be gone in no time. Someone is pricing 400k Na wah for Nairaland o!More engine pics and mileage will be ideal. Good luck. |
Looking Good ![]() |
feelzee:for a 2003? You need to wake up! At this exchange rate? |
190:u must buy this tyme o. No window shopping!!! ![]() |
toyotas are very durable and have a very low cost of operation. camry again, i repeat. There can be 10million Camry's in naija, all u care about is one: Yours! ![]() |
Midas02:That dont mean nothing to me. I cant do RO-RO from Cali to Naija. Thats my gripe Good trip. Was researching the Laurel a few weeks ago. I am looking (not immediately tho) for the 2.0 six cyl engine. Baffled me. But will like to drive the car like i stole it. ![]() Here's the pic of the one i found on the net.

Hi Midas, How was ur trip to Japan ![]() Its impossible not to know Japanese Street anywhere in the world. I hope to get there someday myself. Good pics. The Crown is the business ![]() |
whats the mileage? pics? fresh TOKS will be about 900k-1m if clean. So if its really in good shape, it might be worth it. kinda hard to say without seeing pics or the mileage. Good luck |
