Guy we all know Dan has got payment issues, everyone of us, who are true domainers must have experienced it once or twice.

Go to namepros, and see the complain, but then, the problem actually isn't from Dan, most American card companies decline payments outside the Usa, sometimes for one reason or the other.

That's why Dan advices use of some cards.

But still once or twice, some end users still face the payment problems.

You just have to Pray about it, that your enduser shouldn't face such.

Therefore it's not majorly, something you can. Riot about.

Auto transfer of domains and immediate payout,even in weekends just like Epik does. If the domain is registered with Epik especially.

I hate it when I am having registrar issues in transfer of domains,and delay in payout that's why I don't majorly list with Afternic.

A client offered to pay for one of my domains for $150, but that she trust only GoDaddy, and I should list it in there marketplace.
I just weak for the transaction and let her go.

I bought landscapeinstallation//king some few minutes ago. I tried listing it on Dan and afternic and it's getting rejected. It's saying someone has listed it already. I checked and saw that someone had listed the name already. However, I bought it for $8+ on porkbun and have parked it on sedo.

Contact both marketplace to delist the domain if they have been already listed with them.

Please I am really in need of a super good sound system at home.
I have the option of choosing between LG Bodyguard (picture attached) and any other good one out there.

Always remember that the state/city involve sometimes affect domaining.

I can see that, after Ikhalyfah gave a hint on law/legal Domains, as paying him more.

I know many would want to try their hands on it, but be wise, while Doing that.

I have sold numerous law domains and even sold more upto 3 domains to one particular law firm in the USA.

Apart from the fact, of being, close to the legal profession, there is something about selling legal domains in the USA.

Most times, they would prefer lawyer word and sometimes, a particular niche will be better off with attorney word attached.

A lawyer in a particular state can cover almost all the cities in that state, and sometimes a lawyer In a particular state can't cover all the cities in that state. This depends on the population of the cities and the state in question.

Legal Domains can pay you if invest well like real estate Domains.

But at the same time you can have many sitting in your portfolio without any reply from law firms.

Also a particular niche in a legal domain can be a hot cake in California, but can be dead in Texas. Eg divorce, medical, etc.

Just like photography Domains paid me very well too, I still have many, not sold. Because I didn't follow due deligence.

When I started, i refused to read the whole thread, didn't attend any class. I only read the first 50-80 pages and I thought I knew it all. I only know what a domain is, how to register and list. I registered 3 crappy non Geo domain names that speaks volume on my knowledge about domain. I kept on seeing sales report I thought it was magic or you guys have a secret that I didn't know and no one would tell me. I got frustrated within just a month and I left Domain business.

I happen to be where a class was carried out about domain business, I was intrigued by the amount of knowledge he had. I was waiting to hear that he is 5 years+ into Domain business but only to find out that he is just some months old and he learnt all through his independent research, this thread, namepros and he develop strategy that work for him.

That was when reality downed on me. If I would want to excel in the business I have to just read and accumulate ideas, knowledge just like he did. I became glued to my phone reading this from page 1 of this thread and anything that would be of help to me on namepros. I read for 1 month + with my jotter beside me. I reached a moment where I knew that there is a big difference between my then and now.

That was when I began to register names. Though financial constraints and some factors disallowed me to register or even outbound.

But still I managed to register 24 names between November-january.

Got time in march and I began to outbound them.

I had 4 sales from the portfolio of 24 names in march.
Oklahoma/truck/repair $250
California/insurance/lawyer $100
New York/medical/supplies $200
Corona/doctor $250

Got another opportunity June
Decided to re-outbound my remaining names which got me this 3 sales.
Arizona/tile/store $200
Brooklyn/interior/decorator $300
Oklahoma/nursing/home $200

However I've added 24 names to my portfolio this month but didn't made a single sale from them.

My current portfolio is 46 Geo domains, 24 which are still just 1 month old. 4 brandable and 6 EMD.

I'll continue to read, learn and avoid my previous mistakes and also learn from others experience.

For those of us, who are still dealing with geos, let me drop this here to help one or two.

When sourcing for mails, don't only restrict your self to the ist-3rd email address shown to us by this email scrapping websites.

Try as much as you can to send to as much as possible. Sometimes I send an outbound mail to 30 employees of just two company's. Especially when you don't know the owner of the company. I advice you still outbound to other employees even if you know the owner.

I had a case scenario where, I sent an outbound for a domain for $599. Two companies replied with interest.
But one offered $150 to Pay immediately.
The second company agreed to pay the $599, but sent me another mail in less than 5minutes that they would not be needing the domain again, as the partner pulled him off.

I mailed the guy that offered $150 to pay since I wanted to do away with the domain, he was just posting,and I left him.

I mailed the guy for $599 and asked him if he likes the name he replied yes, and I asked him what can he offer me without his partner and he politely told me $200. That that's the much he can spend personally.

I said can you pay now, he said sure. I adjusted the price and he paid immediately.

This is just one of the scenarios. Sometimes our buyers are not the main decision makers, and they can be any employee of the company.

But believe me domaining is like a career part.
Therefore, making your passion your profession counts, and helps. If you are not the type that loves Outbounding, learn more on Emd and brandables.

But to those, that like Outbounding, you see them not complaining and they own mostly Geo names.

This guy told me to my face that Ikwerres are migrants from Ngwa and and ichies are migrated from imo via the imo river wooow I learnt something today.

But the question is why do Nigeriand try so hard to divide igboland why? Is it because of oil

No it doesn't from my own analysis.

Same way a domain held by another domainer or Hugedomains is not bad, if it passes all your acquisition test.

Once domain isn't banned, and was just used to regenerate traffic.

Those guys problem no be small. Qulink1 showed me love with a domain last week or so but we can't transfer it. we tried for many hours until he collected my username and password. If not for their promo and all that, no one will ever buy from them. And if you buy a domain from them, immediately spam message will be entering your Gmail and WhatsApp. I don't know what will cost them to upgrade!!!

That's because they don't sell with privacy protection.

You have to buy privacy protection separately.

I have been actively working on getting another car for some time. I have searched Nairaland and it’s mostly toks Honda that is sold here... To cut it short, I found an A-list Honda Pilot today on Jiji, and it really captured me. The manufacture date is 2004.

But there is the usual talk about Honda cars, including common issues and their resale value. In the circumstances, Transmission failure....I need all the advice I can get to make my decision, including on management tips if I go for it. What are the things I should look out for. My alternative is a Toyota Highlander 2003, but it is way above my budget trying to get a Nigerian used. Moreover I just left a Camry and will like to feel how a different brand tastes like.

Advice about this alternative would also be well appreciated.

I'm guessing this is a new RULE of outbounding.

The name you are outbounding with doesn't affect so far as the domain you are trying to sell is good,and needed by an end user.

But true, use your real name if possible, so it will show as same name in the invoice, if need be.

I outbound with my Facebook at times and it's my Nigerian Facebook,and I still get responses.

Domaining is sometimes not based on what some people sell.

I wish you good luck, but sometimes don't be pushed to register what just sold in another city, because it might sell or might not.

Please has anyone here done outbounding for a law, lawyer, attorney, or related domain name before? I wish to know what the experience was like.

I was trying to get leads for a legal domain name and I chanced upon an "Anti-spam" warning by one of the legal firms, stating it is strict about unsolicited emails. Fear catch me small. The funny thing is that I could have missed such a notice at another time.

What could go wrong?

I have done lawyer Domains and have sold some too, all through outbound.
