So the idea is to know your end users. It's not just about getting a good Geo name. But does the niche earn the end user enough to be able to afford it? Yes? at what price?

I received an inbound offer for one of my domains that ends with the word "sales" but the singular "sale" is available an unregistered.

Now the offer came from a GoDaddy broker with $250 as opening offer.

I told them that i would do anything $599

Because i listed the domain for $400.

Is it advisable that i register the singular, from your view since its available.

Do you think they might decide to go for the singular, which is just a reg fee.

And end users have thus:

Most times they would want to stick to their countries Tld (co.uk) since that is what is mainly used in the Uk.

But that doesn't rule out the fact that they can still want to own the (.com)

I never said they should stop asking questions. Rather I said they should stop asking frivolous questions, that even a common man knows the answer. In order not to derail the thread.
Secondly i never said Awesomeduru was doing something bad, and besides i commended him.

Ask serious questions we all learn from it, not when an enduser ask something like "How do we proceed" or "I offer $500" you now start looking for someone to draft a text on what to reply to such enduser.

Even in school, there are some kind of questions, you ask your lecturers, they will ask you to sit down.

We should learn how to do some basic things.

Look guys, the rate at which people are asking for how to reply prospects is becoming offending, especially replies that every domainer should know.

example, before you buy a name, you should know how it will benefit your prospect, stop acting dumb and challenge yourselves.

By asking these silly questions it means you not learning anything from the vast information on this thread.

But what stops one from replying your own enduser in your own way is what i do not know.

A reply can just be a simple but convincing statement and must not be lengthy.

I seriously commend us to start learning how to handle our endusers and only bring serious questions here.

I also received a double payment of $300 for a name I sold on Dan. I contacted simon and I sent it back to him.

As a reward, he promised to only charge 8% on the next 8 sales I made. Though he has forgotten about that but they are really nice guys and this will make them trust Nigerians more. The goal is the long term where Nigerians will be accepted on all platforms.

So i thought i should share my experience with DAN. Sold a domain 2wks ago for $270 and my payout option was automatically changed to wire transfer. I reached out to DAN by tagging simon that i didn't request for a wire transfer payout option but rather throughout BTC. 24hrs later they switched back the payout to crypto which was my initial payout option with them and the payment was sent to my luno address. On Thursday night i got a credit alert from my bank for the same payment i already received through my BTC tho it was minimal due to the exchange rate compared to the BTC rate i already received. It was so tempting but i decided to reach out to DAN notifying them that i received a double payment for the domain name.
James from DAN replied my message by thanking me for being honest and sincere and we both tried to look for way to send the payment back to them. James later send me a message to keep the second payout as a reward for my honesty.

I am having same issue now with Epik.

Sold a domain on july 30th, Rob seng $264 btc to me, but adjusted the processing fee manually, which made the btc not come in, and verification was slow, i requested for a review and He sent another btc of same amount, which i received immediately and it passed all verifications.

This morning i saw a notice of btc payment and i checked it and found out it was that ist one,sent on 30th july which he set the processing fee manually. I immediately contacted Rob to inform him of what has happened and asked him, to sent his wallet id for me to send him the btc back, he sent the id but unfortunately i tried sending it, and discovered i cant send btc through my wallet, i enabled the btc sending option, and luno said it will start working after 24hrs. I immediately contacted Rob again this morning, and sent him the mail from Luno, and i asked if i should withdraw the payment and make deposit to my masterbucks account so they can take it from there. And Rob said i should keep the payment that by next sales we would balance the account.

I really thanked him for the trust.

Note all this happened this morning by 3am.

Recently, i checked one of my old sales letter which I used in closing deal, A lot of errors there. I was wondering how the end-users perceived it and still do the deal with me.

That is what am trying to let people know.
The value of a domain ends in the eyes of the enduser.

Sometimes when am replying mails, i just give a line of words or a simple statement. And most of the times the domains are bought.

The sales you see, I keep telling people that its not just all about having the right sales letter or communication keys, though they are essential, but Divine help can never be ruled out. Therefore whatever you believe in, make it work for you.


So why looking for outbounders, have this in mind.

Let me drop this short one, sometimes its good to always renew your domains. If you have the fund.

Personally am of the school of though of not renewing domains after one year, except i have a personal affection on the said name.

2months ago i gave a friend of mine a domain name to outbound for me, and she did and he got some replies of interest, but the domain was almost due for expiration.

I told him if non of the endusers pay, before expiration am not renewing, he pleaded i do i said no, and that he can have the name if he wants but he would renew it.

We both forgot about name, and it expired, one of the previous endusers he messaged, mailed him that he is ready to pay $250 for it. But by then, the domain was no longer in my portfolio. And was not available for registration. I monitored this domain till i saw it on expired domains as now available for registration.

I called my friend since i keep to my words, and he registered it through epik, ans listed on Dan last month.
He then messaged the enduser that was ready to pay, and she said ahe could only trust GoDaddy.I was only advising him on the replies to give to the enduser, and he were able to convince the enduser to use Dan. And she finally payed and domain transferred.
I cleared the funds for him through btc and everyone is happy. he dashed me something shall for all the stress, and advice and clearing the funds for him under 24hrs.

But that's why i always advice the use of reputable Usa registrars like nameesilo, epik, dynadot.

Makepromo no go ruin sales for you, or when you need quick payout, transfer out of domain come be problem.

I check all those, but if am not satisfied with their reports, it doesn't stop me from registering the name if am interested in it.

If you check way back machine for a GEO domain you want to register,and it shows results like:

Page not archived(meaning no way back result)
2)A for sale page.
3)403 forbidden.
4)Parked at huge domains or buy domains.

Will you still go ahead to register the name?

PS.every other factors you've checked is satisfactory.

Holdtime, Less than a week.

Did first round of outbound, one person indicated interest for $100 only on saturday but went silent, after adjusting the price to $100, because it was just a dayold then. I reverted my price to my asking price of $350. Since she failed to pay after the weekend.

Yesterday decided to message her again if she would reply, and she did, asked if she was still interested she said yes, but that the price is $350.

I said if i change it to $100 will you buy immediately? She said yes.

I adjusted the price and sent her a mail to that, and she paid immediately.
