Christianity EtcVIDEO: Apostle Johnson Suleman Replies El Rufai, "Ask Me The Day Of Your Burial" by PROPHETmichael(op):
"Pray for the plan of the enemies (those in authority), to turn Nigeria to a country of one religion; it will not work. I said something sometime back about one governor that is trying to Islamised Kaduna,he said he want to put a bill to try and control preaching and the reason he wants to do that is because of the islamic uprising i.e. the issues of insurgency in the islamic world.
If you want to correct your people, correct your people; we don't have problem with christians and if you want to balance your people, balance your people; we don't have problem with christians and the man said i should give him the day of his death. You are dead already, ask for the day of your burial. I don't give date for death but i can give date for burial.........."

PoliticsRe: Kachikwu Explains Reasons For Fuel Scarcity (video) by PROPHETmichael: 12:42pm On Apr 07, 2016
Kachikwu thinks he is a social science lecturer in a university of fools and horses. What kind of rubbish is he going about saying? He should
shut up for once and stop contradicting himself with every attempt to make himself look wise. What we want is petroleum minister not
petroleum lecturer.

This man is not telling us the truth and it is very sad to listen to him, a seemingly intelligent man, taking no prisoners in deceiving the nation. I don't give a monkey where he comes from but in any sane society he and Buhari should have resigned their positions in the oil ministry.
Last week he came out and said the scarcity will continue till may. When pushed, he changed to two weeks and subsequently to yesterday(in abuja and Lagos). So does he actually know what he is talking about?
Then today he is talking about forex, for God's sake when crude was $9 per barrel and we had $3b in our reserve there was no forex crisis. Why are these guys manufacturing problems for the masses in the name of politics?
He reduced the price of fuel in January and now he wants to revise that because, even before the reduction he knew he was deceiving people. How can you set a price for a commodity people buy from open market without subsidy and you think it will work? It is absolute nonsense. You tell Nigerians that pump price of petrol will be N70 and a marketer buys petrol from Russia at N90, how can he sell it at N70? Is he a magician?
In my own humble opinion, since:-
(1) We have no senate anymore
(2) No judiciary anymore
(3) No coherent opposition anymore

I think it is time to protest for the resignation of the following people:-
1. The minister of petroleum-Buhari
2. The minister of state for petroleum- Kachikwu
And,
3. The GMD of NNPC.

Christianity EtcRe: What If The Early Church Had Prayed That Saul Should Die? by PROPHETmichael: 8:19pm On Mar 27, 2016
asalimpo:
if todays's christians were the one's being persecuted by Saul of tarsus, what would be their prayer?
"All those persecuting fall down and die - by fire by force"

If such a prayer were answered, I dont think even the church would know how great its loss would be.
They'd be rejoicing that their enemy is gone, but in God's eyes a big tear drop would be forming..

Sometimes not all enemies need to die for us to make progress.
And our making progress isnt the best objective of all , bu the advancement of God's kingdom.

God's kingdom, not our kingdom (our peace, prosperity, well being) , should be the highest priority.

Thank God, saul lived to repent and become what he eventually became - a firebrand for God. An eclipse,
that made all other apostles before him look like kindergaten kids in the things of God!!
OP
Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me” And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.
Elijah had thought he's the only one left and pride was beginning to set into his life but God had to remind him that he has 7000 of his kind that hasn't bowed down to Baal; in other words 7000 replacements for Elijah, how much more a mere mortal like Saul who stood on the way of the gospel? God does not take it kindly with anyone who try to stand on the way against the advancement of the gospel to the extent he vowed I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH AND THE GATE OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL. First, he will give you a chance to repent but if you refuse and continue to do anyhow, you see anyhow.

SportsRe: Is Betting/gambling Really That Bad? by PROPHETmichael:
EroticAngelina:
Seriously, what's so bad or immoral about betting?
I don't think Betting and gambling are the same thing. to me, 'betting' sounds way cooler than 'gambling'

I don't know where people get the notion that gambling leads people to hell huh I don't see anything wrong in it. Its just like every other thing in life where you loose some, and you win some.
I just made 5k from betting in the barca and arsenal match, and my mum was like "Christians don't bet" and she ended up eating from the money undecided

so I really want to know why its bad.
There is what is called spirit led gambling as demonstrated by you in the match between Barca and Arsenal. In 2014, Arsenal was about to play

Bayern Munich in Germany after losing first leg at Emirates, i was browsing the net and i saw the odds that says Arsenal to beat Bayern 2-0

50/1....i said wow...i prayed and i said Lord if indeed Arsenal will win this match 2 nil let this odds change. I went out after about an hour i

returned and lo and behold the odd was reduced from 50/1 to 40/1....To cut the long story short:-

1)I borrowed £100 from a friend
2) I bet
3) Arsenal won 2-0 away
4)£4100 was paid into my account.

There is also spirit led gambling as demonstrated by the apostles in the bible.

RomanceRe: He Proposed To Me But I Have Someone Else by PROPHETmichael: 1:34am On Jan 20, 2016
Hadez:
OK this is going to be a little long and weird.

I have a boyfriend who lives in Switzerland and we have been dating 3years now (before he left Nigeria for his masters) and we love each other (I think).
You know the whole stories about men hooking up with whites and all that. Though we don't talk again like before. We sometimes go a week without communicating not even on Facebook.

Now I have a guy in my department how has been asking me out for months now. This same guy will always send me gifts, takes me around, and sometimes gives me money (I never asked because my boyfriend sends me money too). Today he asked me to be his date to a friend's birthday party and I said OK because I was not going to be busy for the rest of the night.

To cut the long story short, he proposed to me in front of everybody today at the party and I was so dumbfounded that I couldn't think of what to say(I never expected that to happen because I made it clear to him I am in a serious relationship). I had to hug him to avoid embarrassment for him but I don't love him because he is a yahoo guy. But i think he loves me for real because he even introduced me to his parents when they came to check on him.

My problem now is that I can't date this guy because of what he is doing (apart from that, he is so romantic and I think I am crushing on him deep down) but my boyfriend is not showing me that affection anymore. I don't want to be a second girlfriend to any man. I want to be his first pieority.

Should I say yes to the man who loves me?

2 Write this to Ephesus (Hadez), to the Angel of the church. The One with Seven Stars in his right-fist grip, striding through the golden seven-lights’ circle, speaks:

2-3 “I see what you’ve done, your hard, hard work, your refusal to quit. I know you can’t stomach evil, that you weed out apostolic pretenders. I know your persistence, your courage in my cause, that you never wear out.

4-5 "Nevertheless I have this against you, you walked away from your first love—why? What’s going on with you, anyway? Do you have any idea how far you’ve fallen? A Lucifer fall!

Turn back! Recover your dear early love. No time to waste, for I’m well on my way to removing your light from the golden circle.

6 “You do have this to your credit: You hate the Nicolaitan business (yahoo). I hate it, too.

First of all, rebuke that demonic voice that is speaking to you because God will not go against his word for he said, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12. The voice you're hearing is an attempt by the devil to terminate your destiny and make you spend the rest of your life in jail thereby rendering you ineffective for your God given assignment which is to reach out to the nations of the world.
Nairaland GeneralRe: It's Our Time To Produce NDDC Boss-ondo Insists by PROPHETmichael: 2:17am On Jan 14, 2016
NDDC Act is very clear on this but i don't know why some people will want to cause themselves unnecessary heart attack. Go and tell Ilaje Parapo Forum (IPF) that they should go and study NDDC Act before vomiting rubbish.

Section 3 (1) of NDDC Act states that "a member of the Board, other than an ex-officio member, shall hold office for a term of 4 years at the first instance and may be re-appointed for a further term of 4 years and no more."

Also, Section 5 (2) states that "Where a vacancy occurs in the membership of the Board it shall be filled by the appointment of a successor to hold office for the remainder of the term of office of his predecessor, so however, that the successor shall represent the same interest and shall be appointed by the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces subject to the confirmation of the Senate in consultation with the House of representatives."

The last board spent 2years out of their four years; meaning, persons from the same state shall be appointed to fill in their respective vacant state position. So therefore:-

Akwa Ibom will retain the MD position
Calabar- Chairman
Rivers - Finance & Admin
Delta - Executive Director Project.

Christianity EtcRe: What You Can Learn From Zachaeus' Encounter With Jesus by PROPHETmichael: 4:06am On Jan 12, 2016
1. I learned that hunger is what gives a man creativity. He was hungry to see Jesus that he had to climb the sycamore tree.

2: He was a man who studied the scripture because he understood that it is only with joy can a man draw out water from the well of salvation (Isaiah 12:3), he came down from the sycamore tree and "received the lord joyfully".

3) I learned that indeed, God surpasses our expectations. Zachaeus only wanted to see Jesus, but Jesus told him not only will you see me, i will abide in your house. No wonder the good book says, He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think.

4) Because he was a rich celebrity, people only focus on the bad side of him not minding the fact that, half of his goods goes to the poor; but People opinion of him didn't stop him from doing good.

5) He was a honest rich man, ready to restore back his part of oil subsidy and dasukigate of his days fourfold if the government can proof any wrong accusations of him.

6) And finally, i learned that Jesus, despite entering a rich man's house didn't lose focus of his primary assignment which was to save that which was lost. How many of our preachers have entered Aso Rock and politician houses and ended up losing focus on their primary assignment? Selah

Dear honest and sincere people of nairaland, I want you to explain the meaning of seeing Buhari in my dream Where he was in a Church before the congregation praying with the name of God and not Allah.
Does it mean that Buhari will in future become a Christian ?
Secondly, does it mean that Buhari is mockingChristians?
thirdly, does it mean that Buhari is achameleon/hypocrite?
Lastly, does it mean that Buhari really is not what people believe him (positive/negative)to be?
This is exactly a month I had this dream but decided to make it known to everyone today ,based on events that have taken place in Nigeria since I had the dream.
For everyone's information I am not in Africa,
I have no party,
I am not a friend of politicians and I only want good governance in Nigeria and Africa as andwhole.
So ,kindly do not give your explanation of the dream based on sentiments.
Thanks as you contribute.

Was he leading the prayer or among the congregation?
Did you see the priest? if yes, what was he doing?

One major way to know a fake prophet is if he asks you for material gifts or money. Those who ask for them are professional prophets.
The geniune prophets of God wont ask you for those things before attending to you.
You are wrong.... read 1 Kings 17:7-16

Why would prophet Elijah in the time of famine insist that a widow should give him a morsel of bread? The very last the woman had which according to the woman, it is for her and her son to eat and die ..... If that woman was a Nigerian, she would've said to the prophet "u don see maga".

7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,

9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.

15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.
.......................................................................................................................................................................................

PoliticsRe: What Do You Think About My Boss' Parable? by PROPHETmichael: 11:50am On Dec 15, 2015
Gaborone:
So, here we go...

Yesterday at the office, my boss walked up to us -his employees- and gave an impassioned talk about President Buhari's style of governance. He said, while he thought Buhari's attempt at recovering stolen funds were not out of place in itself, he was giving way too much attention to it. According to him, the President's lack of priority in this regard had become counter-productive and had started to prove detrimental to other areas that are in dire need his attention.

To drive home his point, he gave us a parable of an employer who kept N20,000 in his office somewhere, and on coming back to take it, he discovered that one of his Clerks had run off with it. After the discovery, the employer took the keys to the office, locked it up. He ran out with as much fury as he could muster, shouting to the hearing of all who would listen, "Who saw my boy?!!!", "Please, help me find him and get my money!!" All the while this employer was out looking for the stolen money, his shop remained under lock and key, no monies coming out, no monies going in. No customer, no profits in sight; he was making losses with every turn. Yet, ALL that mattered to him remained getting the thief of a boy, and recovering the stolen money.

My boss likened the employer in the above parable to President Buhari. He says our President has practically closed shop -Nigeria- and has decided to channel all his energy into getting stolen funds, forgetting that there is a bigger picture -an economy- that needs urgent attention; forgetting that the country might be going into a recession; forgetting that people are losing their jobs, forgetting that foreign investors are leaving, and more are 'plotting' to close shop and leave Nigeria; forgetting that an economy is not run by stolen funds which are recovered, but that if anything, they are to be regarded as "extras".

The above is how my boss sees things right now, and I agree with him.

I have to agree because, since coming into office, the activities of President Buhari's government has centered around just two things: 1. Foreign trips; and 2. Instigating the prosecution of looters of the past (who I must mention are not pro his government or pro-Apc). While the relevance of the above two can really not be downplayed, the fact remains that attention need to be given to the economy of Nigeria. As my boss said, no country has ever been run on recovered funds. Me thinks he needs to stay home a bit more, and pay attention to the alarms being raised by the World Bank and other bodies about Nigeria's economy. He need to share that attention he is giving the boy who stole the money.

Now, what's your own take about what my boss said?

#As an aside, he needs to stop talking so much about his predecessor -Jonathan. It's only a lazy man that blames his tools all the time.

Cc: lalasticlala
When next you see your boss, counter him with the parable of the lost sheep and the parable of the lost coin as told by Jesus and he will see that Buhari is doing exactly what Jesus would do; the only difference is that i know i know i know and i really know that Jesus will not leave his ninety nine sheep hungry while searching for one smiley

Luke 15
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

The Parable of the Lost Coin
8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins[a] and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
