I am sorry if you misunderstand me, I am very very sorry again if you couldnt get the point I made in my last post. For some of you that understand the post I say thank you for your kind in-depth thought that brought out your intellectual firmness and open minded reasoning. For those that didnt understand my post I said I am still very very sorry for saying the simplest truth. This one ptdf is talking about cutting cost and all. Schooling in Australia is very very expensive. Anyhow sha, if they will sponsor this year, seems i will be seeing you there.

While some people are even praying for Nigeria. Some guys are eying Australia.

If u are being called it simply means they want more clarification and your score boundary warrant scholarship so u do not miss out hence d following reasons:

a. You scored high and being considered as a scholar and want to clarify the documents u submitted which are obscure

or

b. They want to ask if u might want PTDF overseas partnered institution such as in Brasil etc

or

c. Seek your opinion if you will accept local schools especially if u chose foreign schools in your application.

If u didn't receive any call don't panic but two things are involved :

a. You are among those who scored tremendously well in your state with no trace of of inconspicuousness and therefore will b given their choice.

b. You scored very low hence wont b considered for scholarship.

Have they completed the calling?

Did they ask him whether he would like to go to Brazil or France?

Please is there any updated information from ptdf on the results of MSc exams? Is the list coming out same time with phd list?
some us who would be fortunate to get the scholarship will need to apply for Academic Training Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate, which takes about 20 days to process. Afterwards, we would need to apply for Confirmation of Acceptance (CAS), which may take two weeks. It's after these that we can think of processing Visa. However, some of us have start dates in first Week of September.
Please do as much as you can to help. We appreciate your support.

My brother, be very cautious. Did you apply for any job on linkedin? What coy is that that they can't mention the name? What is the open portfolio that is unnamed? What sort of email did they use - was it hosted by gmail, yahoo, etc?

In this age of kidnapping, etc, I would be very wary of this type of invite.

It won't be a problem. I can move my resumption date to Spring starting in January. I'm not in a hurry to travel. I'm in communication with my school and they empathize with me. The fact is, getting funding is no longer easy the world over. I just need this scholarship to be assured I won't be stranded in a foreign land, and it's better late than never. All is well.

I Would ensure that none of those who cracked that rugged test and scored up to 70% goes home empty handed. After picking the 4-5 best scorers, I would draft the remaining 70 % scorers to Nigerian Universities.

DSSHQ:
PTDF never releases the result of their OSS scholarship exam so quickly.They take time to analyse the results and select the candidates. Besides, the list is usually released along side the list of successful PhD candidates.

My University calls me every now and then. I don't know what to tell them anymore!

Please I would like to posit that for an exam as strenuous as the ptdf exams we took last week, it's only kind to let people know their scores in no time. Computer based tests, I know, makes it possible to compile results even the same day.

JAMB exams are not as strenuous as the ptdf exams, yet they do well to announce results in THREE DAYS. that puts the mind of candidates at rest, MANY MONTHS BEFORE THE ACTUAL ADMISSION SCREENING. I think it would be kind and considerate to release the exams scores and let us all see HOW WE ALL DID. that would also show transparency.

Someone dropped a link, one indiabix.com, a few weeks to the aptitude test. I can assure you beyond any reasonable doubt that for the "Environmental Engineering & Sustainability" field specific section which I chose during the test, all of the questions were taken from the 7 sections on https://www.indiabix.com/chemical-engineering/environmental-engineering/. I mean ALL 50 QUESTIONS, not even a single question was foreign to those on that website. I practised those questions as I had no other material for this course, hence my ability to recall all of these 50 questions even though I might have missed like 5 or so during the test. As for the English part, I totally cannot comment because it's the worst English exams I have written all my life. Bringing out such sort of questions was so unnecessary in my opinion. I mean how are such words going to actually test the English ability of a technical professional. The grammar part towards the end was the only thing I was sure I answered correctly. As for the first 50 or so questions, I leave everything in the Hands of the Lord. All the best to every deserving individual who worked hard for that day.

Ptdf exams is the most unfair exams I've ever been involved in. No level playing ground at all. Imagine this, I also studied indiabix on Process Control and instrumentation, both under electrical and chemical engineering. Not a single question was copied from Indiabix or anywhere. And I saw no question on basic Control. Instead what I saw there were Advanced Electrical Instrumentation. This is unfair.

Fifty of the English questions are in the material. Hmm I've marked myself already

At this point I need to comment on this leakage stuff. In Port Harcourt where I took the test, the story about leakage is just exaggerated stories. 98%of candidates where on the line scrambling to enter the exams center. The first sets of candidates revealed nothing about the exams. However about 30 minutes before the last candidates entered the center, one guy came out with a paper with 5-10 English words and gave it to xsome guys. He didn't even reveal much about the true nature of the exams. I disagree with the notion that a person who didn't prepare for the test can just get it because of this. Let me tell you guys something, u see all those big words? I had studied them during my preparation, but it's not all I could remember or apply to those logical questions. So all these fuss is unnecessary.

U know Nigerian guys are fond of being aspersious when you try to demonstrate your sagacity and eruditeness by communicating in urbane English. Yesterday they saw the need to be Sentatious in their English communication instead of being derisive of those who don't want to obfuscate their sagacity
