I have to rearrange my cinematic priorities.

My best fight scene is no longer Lepizig Airport


That Endgame finale is mad!

All the Avengers get 7.5/10 for their efforts (special mention to Ant Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch and Spiderman)


Captain Marvel effort was underappreciated if not for her, almost all the Avengers will be toast from the aerial bombardment, she gets 8/10

Thor for his doggedness even though he is out of shape, he gets 8.5/10

Thanos baddest guy ever liveth gets 9/10


Captain America, this guy is the epitome of endurance, even when Iron Man and Thor were down and he had no idea if reinforcement was on the way, he was still preparing to singlehandedly take on a whole battalion, he gets 9.5/10

Iron Man, I have nothing much to say, Bros take your 10/10 and be on your way.


And the director of this movie gets 12/10.
Mr koice is about Soundtrack while I am more about the directing pattern of a movie and Avengers really delivered.

Guy chill, it's quite possible for Bruce Lee to get beat, him getting his ass whopped shouldn't deter you from going to see an interesting work of fiction.

Please can someone help me with this. I have been having problems with movies/series (videos) unable to play in my VLC player well it only skips on image quality but the sounds just keep going on my laptop and it always happens anytime i download a movie or series from Netnaija.
And i tried playing it on windows player but still doesn't show anything but only sounds.
Can any one help please?

It's an alternate history, he is entitled to take liberties. Remember Inglorious basterds? Hitler got blown to smithereens. Tho I understand it's criminal to butcher a legend like Bruce, but I suggest you see the movie first; this is not a director that mindlessly incorporates things into his pictures, everything has a reason to be there, and if viewed through the right context, makes good sense.

This is a beauty but nothing comes close to Black Hawk down for me.

A friend of mine ( she's a nurse who pays her bills and her man Owns join together, if she goes out for shopping she also get things for her man. If I ask her why she is doing all this, she will just say " girlfriend you got to be able to give not always take..not always expecting."

a clear copy of endgame is out. will download teh mkv-cage 1080p 6 channel version tonight. which means i have to close out on my struggle to get my dolby atmos working flawlessly with my pc/soundbar /tv setup. everything is connected, but once i switch from stereo to atmos on my audio, i start getting audio dips every 20 seconds. i cannot figure it out

Edit. Sorted. I am getting old. After three hours of agidi, I figured I should forget hdmi pass through and run hdmi in only. Once I did that everything came up - stereo, 5.1, 7.1, dolby atmos. Now the sound bar will be used properly.

Or maybe I have too much on my mind. Same way I wasted energy and money trying to connect router in the living room only to find I could easily set the router up wirelessly as a repeater.

That was nice and smart. It would be ridiculous to catch a plane mid air. The momentum of the plane, the lack of a standing ground and the effect of gravity on both plane & superhero, would work against the catching of a plane

in that pryme list of movies.... I won't recommend Act of valor to anybody...it was a trash movie to me..... Imo

I might be wrong, but I feel most successful directors in Hollywood can be classified into 3;

The ones that make highly rated, artistic, poetic, Oscar bait films that are continually lauded by critics:
Dennis Villeneuve, Barry Jenkins, Steve Mcqueen, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese etc

The other ones make highly budgeted pop-corn flicks and crowd-pleasers; huge advertising budgets that are sure box office winners for the studios/distributors: (Reviews don't matter)
Jon Favreau, Justin Lin, Mel Gibson, James Wan, Michael Bay etc

The third group make films that lit up the box office, impress critics and take up silverware on Oscar night
Though the catch is that they're very few.

Saw 5 minutes of inception while having dinner and concluded that Nolan is a rare breed that belongs to the third category. Same "Inception" was nominated for 8 Oscar awards and went on to win 4-after having made over 800 million on a 160 mill budget.

Skip over the bat films right down to "Interstellar":700 mill on 160 mill budget, nominated for 5 Oscars and won one.

Then comes "Dunkirk" in 2017; 577 mill on a 150 mill. Same was nominated for 8 Oscars and won 3.

At this point in Nolan's career, dude can command a 350 mill dollars budget for a film: no questions asked.

Which begs the question: What's he doing that other aren't? What makes him so special? Is it possible to impress both sides of the spectrum (Audiences and critics alike)?

What other directors belong in the same category as Nolan?

I'd say Steven Spielberg; check out Jurassic Park, E.T, Jaws, Saving Private Ryan and then we can talk.

The Lego Batman 9/10

A beautiful and spectacular mayhem, around the clock funny with the best Batman I've ever seen on screen. Engrossing story, quality animation and the best super hero in the world because, yeah, obviously Ironman sucks and Superman is so full of himself.

It's almost like a love story between the Batman and the Joker or "The Jokes" as he likes to refer to himself.
