This is a very fast paced movie with predictable plot. The ending was a kind of a little bit of surprising though. Good action scenes and impressive display of combat skills. Still fall short of the 16 Blocks which seems to be the inspiration for this movie.

Earlier I rated this movie high, but it seems it got alot of bashing from the critics.

I've seen many cops documentaries over the years, and all I got to say is this is one of the most realistic portrayals of police life ever made into a movie. Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña provides us with two highly believable characters,the bromantic moments between these two lads,keeps the entire flick so charming & engaging. The story was very good, it basically holds your attention all along, and drags you without giving you a moment to look away from the screen. This is, without a doubt, the very best & most realistic portrayal of cop life in a flick I've seen so far.

9/10 for me.
My eyes water up in the end, shiit job to be a cop sometimes.

Beside all this, there's no mentioned whatsoever in the movie that Eli is blind. So whatever the subtle hints you chose to see or not see, is just your opinion.

Well Eli was Blind as far as the story goes, just say they did a really bad job showing it.
When I first watched the movie I never for once suspected he was blind not until some years later (it was that bad),
But then come to think of it, He is constantly on Shades, The Bible is in Braille form,

I think it adds up.

John Wick 3 got the same treatment of Avengers End Game got.

John Wick 1 and 2 are for better than 3 IMO, same way Infinity Wars was better than End Game, but the crowd think otherwise.

As for John Wick 3 alot was amiss, I hear gun shots and am still charging head on with (KNIFE) towards one the best assassins in the business (THAT HAS A GUN), even bringing a knife to a gunfight is considered being stupid, so in theory most firms that hire assassins that are fools.

Jujitsu is never considered an ideal martial art when you want to fight multiple people on the streets, but it was used here to fight multiple people with GUNS!!.

These guys really strayed from the first John Wick movie.

Like you go back in time to change the past which will result in changing the future, then that future you came from won't exist again. And also if the future is changed you won't in the first place have any reason to go back to the past initially.
