Threads like this tells me some Nigerians are mentally lazy and prefer to be led like sheeps. In this internet age if anyone still deceives you, then you deserve to be misled. In fact you enjoy been misled. Fact checkers site like snopes. Com exist where you can fact check any information but some people still prefer not to think. The news is FAKE and the website this news was got from is a satire based one. Meaning it spreads fake news. Even alqaeda released a press information acknowledging the death of its big sheik who was shot like the coward he was hiding behind women and his house stashed with pictures of Condi Rice. Maybe he masturbates off her pictures. |
What happened to your prizes? You are one to call out people for violating rules when YOU yourself are not any different. Charix, keep up the good work. thank you! |
Foolish thread. If Buhari was baying for blood, why did Dasuki allow himself dip into the funds meant for soldiers. There is no annoying theft like that of a man that has no need for it. Dasuki is already quite wealthy, why (if) all the allegations are true, did he steal? |
selfemployed:Oh please. Go on and live your life. Neither you or anybody knows when the world will end. As long as babies are born, the world is not ending. Some of you told us 2015 will surely bring the end of world. New year, you folks have started again. Always looking for signs, always reading meaning to events that happened and will continue to happen. I'm sure if you were alive during Hitler time, you will have believed the world is about to end. He spoke and did worse than Trump. He died and generations are still living after. That's how you and I will die someday and the world will outlive us America is very resilient and the powers of the President can be greatly curtailed. Even Obama cannot get all his wishes executed. No President can in America. That's the beauty of their democracy. This is a country that has forced the resignation of a President. I'm.talking about Nixon for a crime many will consider normal in Nigeria. |
SirLewis:Thank you for this. This religious fanatics are always shifting the goal posts. And to you OP, one question What if Donald Trump does not win the elections, does he stop been the anti Christ? |
talktimi:I tire for the matter. wasting productive time tweeting fake issues. IBB and obj dont have twitter accounts. |
Obj does not have a twitter account. ![]() This has been said a thousand times already. |
Isnt change.com an american online service. Our laws are clear. The president can only be impeached via the national Assembly. |
OP Nice job but you do realize the baby face looks like she does not believe all that. Just saying. ![]() |
If after all this. Efcc is not able to secure a conviction, then some heads should roll. The commission prosecution team led by Rotimi (SAN) should give way for a new set of lawyers. Either they are incompetent or also corrupt. They feed us plenty media information, drag suspects in fast moving buses and raise the hopes of Nigeria then when it comes to the crunch, what do we get? late Audu walked free, Orji Uzor Kalu not convicted FFK and Saminu Turaki have walked free, even James Ibori was not guilty in Nigeria. The common denominator in all this is efcc failed to build its case diligently. It's not the job of the judge to help efcc in its case. Two recommendations; 1. Maybe we should revisit our judicial process to allow juries sit on corruption cases and by a simple majority convict criminals. like its done in the USA. If juries sat then the possibility of bribing a judge is limited. 2.allow an election for the office of the head of efcc. I have been hearing stories of how Magu is a no nonsense man, I have not seen evidence of that yet. Same way people praised Lamorde then as no nonsense man. We all know how that ended. |
![]() Some of us warned you about this woman. You refused to listen and quoted her when she blasted linda. You see now |
This bicameral legislature needs to be scrapped. |
Given his antecedents throwing the mic on the floor and ranting like a love lorn teenager. I believe he did this. Since he has so much money, the organizers should tabulate the expenses and make him pay. |
![]() Waiting for Musiwa own predictions |
Please demand that letter in concrete writing. Joe ode Odumakin has done so much for the poor and those on the fringes of society. God bless her and her family. |
OP India is two ends of the spectrum.. There are brilliant doctors and good hospitals as well as quacks and hospitals you wouldn't want your dog to be treated in. Doing one's research diligently before traveling is the best. Search online, get solid referrals very well. Don't also forget some illnesses are beyond treatment such that even if you take the person to America, nothing can be done. |
Onyejiuwaokoh:Plenty likes for your post. The simple things are what matters. As others have said, this are analytical positions got from reading and studying newspaper, political trends and societal activities. This prophets in quote now call it revelations. |
TheFreeOne:Indeed, you could be right. I'm.just fed up of him mouthing off on twitter. |
How do you know they are ugly ![]() Ever heard the saying, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder |
Me thinks its high time, the government makes contact with Ahmed Salkida. He has been saying he has reliable information about this girls for over a year. Also says he is not doing it for the money, genuinely wants to see the girls reconciled with their families. What harm can it do, asking his help. |
Before i start. Is he bleaching? ![]() Has he explained why his 'vision' that Jonathan will win didn't happen? Until he apologizes then it's clear this new set of 'predictions' were done with tinted glasses. He should visit an optometrist ASAP to enhance his vision. |
President Buhari needs to explain to Nigerians what Mr. Lai Mohammed would be doing with N39.1billion allocated to his Information Ministry that would be more important that what Ministry of Transportation N13.7 billion, Ministry of Water Resources N7.2 billion and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment N10.5 billion would be doing? The above is very timely. If we fix transportation, if we fix accessibility to water which in turn helps other sectors and if we create an enabling environment for trade, industries revival, then President Buhari does not need so much allotted to Ministry of information which to my mind is mainly saddled with dissemination of Policies and to paint the government in good light. In essence the official advertising agency for government. The best advert is word of mouth. If we fix the others, then Lai Mohammed has his work done for him. Let's not fail to subject this Budget to rigorous scrutiny. A first step is to slash some of the expenditure to certain sectors and boost others. The author is a patriot and the newspaper is Sahara reporters so please lets address the substance of the matter and not split hairs over party affiliations. |
Yet again providing evidence Nigeria has no business practicing bi cameral legislature. Never have I seen a group of people so divorced from reality on the ground as members of both National assembly. |
Pathetic excuses. Did Pinnick also abolish his own salaries? The administrators eat the bulk of the money n travel in business class while its the players and coaches that draw the spectators and the money in. What happened to the funds gotten from the FIFA goal project Every year, FIFA gives its members lump sums for developmental projects and programs including direct cash funding for youth team. When people talk about corruption, they focus solely on some areas while under reporting others.

Unbelievable. People will even suggest we give Buhari absolute power. It shows some of you are poor students of history. Africa need strong institutions and not strong men- Obama once said. Once You give Buhari absolute powers and he begins to trample on other rights who will save us. Thankfully he is wiser than most of you and he understand his limitations. Thankfully again, the majority of Nigerians are well educated and will resist the sentiments been shared here. Within the Constitution and working under the guidance of the law, President Buhari can fight corruption effectively. The last thing we need is a Mobuto or Pol pot or Mugabe or Kim un. Go to those countries or study on their history and be wise. Strengthen efcc by providing them training. Let their be a reward system to the prosecutor's office of efcc. What do I mean? Let Nigerians vote or have an input on who to prosecute criminals. We have had Rotimi prosecuting criminals for efcc since 2012 with little success yet he keeps drawing salaries. Set up a special court with fearless judges using an act of Parliament. Empower the police with adequate training and forensics to be able to investigate and prosecute cases successfully. Few simple yet effective means to fight corruption and not empower Buharis and his family to lord it over a nation of over 120 million. And if tomorrow, his own sons and family begins to steal who checks them? You don't solve a problem by creating another one. I'll end it by quoting Napolean Bonaparte - "no one is indispensable go to the graveyard and see". If tomorrow Buhari after giving him dictatorial power was to die. What happens. Do we suspend elections and look for another dictator. But if we strengthen institutions, it does not matter who is the leader at present, things run smoothly. That's what done in developed climes. |
Based on available facts and studying the sociopolitical trends which by the way is what most pastors do and then call it ' prophecies'. I believe in 2016 1. More revelations about the financial recklessness of the past administration will come to light. 2. Kogi election will go all the way to the Supreme court. 3. The power situation will still be unresolved as soon as the dry season hits 4.Some of those standing trials will be convicted, but the sentence will be a slap in the wrist compared to the ones handed to petty thieves. Nigerians will scream! 5. More technological developments especially in areas of supercomputer (faster processing, quantum computing development, artificial intelligence etc) 6. Either one of Arsenal or Man city will win epl. Leicester city will finish top 6. Chelsea won't make top 4, won't win the fa cup and Abramovich will appoint Pep Guardiola. 7. Lvg to be sacked. Jose to come in. 8. Nigeria to perform poorly at Olympic. Siasia sacked. Brazil will experience a hitch freee Olympics, security wise but the games will suffer from poor organization. 9. More awards for Jonathan for the peaceful transition. 10. Corruption won't stop, naira to keep falling, Buharis ministers one or two to face corruption accusation. Nothing will be proved and they will carry on as usual. Oil refineries to finally commence in some parts. Musiwa to keep spamming this boards with Western Nigeria demands. |
There is a fireworks display at the burj khalifa near this address. Hopefully this is not terror related. The gulf states have been peaceful. |
If police took his mug shot Then they can circulate his picture to all the iron benders and welders within the vicinity. IF the police have his mug shot. Can one even run fast with handcuffs? |
Keep being you. It will pay off someday. In the corporate world, heck even our civil service as rotten as it is. Sound English is still the official tool for communication. As for the reasons why, look no further than the dearth of good public schools especially the primary level. Subeb and ubeb are tools of corruption rather than the purpose for primary school intervention. So these pupils who went to poor public schools cannot get to post secondary schools and suddenly become comfortable with good English. It's a decay started by the IBB regime and only when we get serious collectively can change come. Few proposals 1. Make a mandatory percentage for education budget in all states and federal levels 2. Close down our universities for 1 year and holistically build up structures as was done in Ghana. 3. Make teachers package attractive. Let it rival that of politicians who do half of the work and swallow all the money. 4. Stop this asinine policy of sending youth corpers to teach. You cannot give what you don't have. Copper wen speak broken English can only teach with broken English. Rather make college of education attractive again as well teachers training colleges. As usual with Nigeria, the issue is not so much what policy direction but the political will to make the hard choices. Who knows maybe you or someone reading maybe the governor of your state. Then you can make a CHANGE. For now prayer, fast or siddon to look. |
Those soldiers should be please released! Oby Ezekwesili rubs alot of people the wrong way maybe due to her looks, her agitated nature at times. But whatever and whoever fights for those soldiers to be released deserve commendation. They should not be allowed to serve a day in detention. Their superiors who sat and feasted on the budget should be doing time.

missKiffy:Possibly the harmattan aiding it faster. |
Great write up Opening poster (OP) I only but hope 2016 is better for Nigeria and its people through hard work, personal piety and sincerity from top to bottom. Amen. |

Even after the silly claims that he was forcing Americans to insert a chip into their bodies to gain access to medical treatment.
