Small scale businesses are falling. On the economy, I'll rate Buhari an 'E'. The world has evolved from the military regime. Ultimately a government will be judged and returned by the electorate in a free and fair elections on how well the economy is faring. The war against corruption is good and noble but it can go side by side with sound financial decisions. Very soon, people will be worn out of hearing we are recovering monies from the last government if their economic needs are not met. A warning for the wise. |
Congratulations to everyone on this thread. You all made me have a good laugh ![]() |
honeric01:Nigeria has money. It's corruption that has derailed the nation. Secondly, you don't correct a mistake by making another one. Leadership is a burden not a means for enjoyment. Ideas are what drives nations. If a govt is not ready to be creative in providing solutions or generating funds to run a country, then it has no business vying for votes. Telling people to frog jump is plain wrong. It's the same category as lyching suspected criminals. Societies dont evolve to been advanced by using barbaric and cruel means. |
sexaddict08:The irony when even a sex addict knows sth is wrong. ![]() |
Ay does not engage his brain sometimes before posting. |
This is what Jonathan was meant to do. But he developed cold feet and allowed Obj to go Scot free. Buhari came and sets forth immediately to probe Jonathan. That's courage and that's leadership. Obasanjo who then retooled and joined those who pushed him out. Lessons to future students of power- probe who came before you if he stole money meant for the nation. If a leader does not respect himself and dips into the cookie jar, then he doesn't deserve any respect to be hauled into jail. |
Sheppard- Geronimo. It's a silly song though |
Trying hard to justify his waste of money. Anyways, his legitimate money, his liberty to do what he wants with it. I want to say, he should have used some of it to help the poor but I cannot tell a man how he wants to throw away his money. A fool and his money are soon parted- Proverbs chapter something |
honeric01:Good question. It will interest you to know even in advanced countries, the debate is what to do if poor income earners cannot pay fines. One option is community service. Or secondly, instead of fine in the first place. These offenders could be delayed by making them undego an hour of class on civic responsibility and the dangers of not using pedestrian bridges. Most of these offenders are in a rush, so once they know been kept for one hour or to lose ten minutes of their time by using the right option. They will choose the right option. Telling adults to frog jump by any military or para military is wrong, barbaric and send the wrong signals. Incidents like this is what leads to burning and stoning of thief's, bullying as well. |
stephenduru:Unacceptable. Fine them. People will adjust better when there is an economic incentive to change. Edit; question of if they cannot pay fines? Give them community service./delay their time by taking them for an hour of civic classes. Most of these people do this cos they want to quickly go somewhere. If he knows, he will be delayed by an hour, he will sacrifice the ten minutes or more to use the right option. Making people frog jump is barbaric. Simple. They are creative ways to enforce the use or non use of pedestrian bridges. We don't live in a Gestapo state. These actions of para military groups telling people to frog jump has rippling effects. It confers unnecessary powers on them. |
efemty001:Not Internet fraudster for sure. Why do you ask? |
madridguy:Nonsense ![]() You make disjointed statements here and there. And then you appeal to Nigerians emotions by talking about joblessness as the cause for this. When greed is the cause and mental laziness. Anyways, both have been arrested. Go and break them from jail |
See their faces ![]() |
As long as its not from the state government coffers. Good luck to them |
You could be right, you know ![]() And they are all wrong funny though and common in secondary school.Once you get to university, you stop comparing notes after exams |
abeniagbon:My boy. Seat down, take pure water, drink it. Then Read what I wrote and your own reply. You will realize the two has nothing in common. I don't know your point, but you have not made one. Also I won't reply to you again, I know you like the attention but I won't give you. |

Not good. |
dammytosh:Yes that's a mind boggling amount for advert by any standards. But she has already said, she categorically didn't collect 240 million. This 240 all comes from Ogundamisi. I also can just cook up any amount and accuse you of stealing it. Until dasuki or dudafa writes In his statement, giving linda such money, there is no case. Secondly she has an advert rates, she said it's millions but not 240, so anybody interested can write to apc and PDP to disclose how much they paid. Both are private organizations so are not compelled to disclose it except to law enforcement agencies. |
dammytosh:Two different scenarios. 1. Dokpesi is in court for two cases, money laundering and shortchanging Nigeria during the hosting of u17 cup. 2. Linda has denied collecting 240 million, she said it was a few millions ( she is not under any law to disclose) if you also really want to find out, ask APC campaign team because she charged them same amount as PDP or send her a email you want to place an advert and you will be quoted the rate. dokpesi admitted collecting the money for media work..why was it not paid to ait, the accusations was it was paid to dokpesi himself 3.don't be surprised if at the end, the judge throws out the case. Accusation is not conviction |
Evidence my foot ![]() ![]() These are the three contradictory statements 1. Dudafa is on the run Yet somehow released a statement implicating Linda 2. Kemi stated that she doesn't know why and what linda collected the money for. 3. And then in the same breath, she talks about how if she reveals what linda covered up, the internet will break. Kemi is a deranged woman. Believe her at your own risk. In a law court, a judge will have her thrown out for wasting everyone time. In conclusion, methinks Kemi just wants a pie of the attention, and the only way to drag other Nigerians to her blogs, Facebook and rants is to tie dasukigate to herself. It detracts from the real work in unraveling who stole Nigeria money. Kemi, you have been noticed. You are trending now. |
There is already a law that covers defamation. Read it up and hire a lawyer;if you feel you were falsely accused. No to social media bill. This is Nigeria and not Afghanistan |
How much did Nwobodo steal sef?- Jonathan at Enugu rally, 2014 |
I believe her. Ogundamisi is a noise maker It's her blog, her price. Last time I checked we practiced capitalism in Nigeria Free market principles. If linda sets a price for advert and APC under Tinubu, Fash and Ambode in Lagos state pays for it. And PDP under Jonathan paid as well. What's her crime? If they could not afford it, then don't pay but linda does not owe Nigerians Any excuse for her adverts rates except we want to close all businesses down Pres. Buhari owns a farm in Katsina. Does he give out his cows for free or sell his farm produce below the going rate. Capital NO |
natasha:God bless you for this post. She tilted towards apc if memory serves me correctly. But Nigeria of today, all you have to be is a popular personality and then say anything like Ogundamisi did and everyone believe it |
Simple, Seun. Where you offered any money? Stake your claims now. I still believe this to be the figment of imagination. It was Ogundamisi that started this on Facebook. |

Dannyset:Peace of mind is better than all this. I'm sure he will prefer his former peaceful life with small money he had than all this high tension probes |
realnas:I lost interest when he said Yusuf was a student of el zaky zaky. Yusuf was a sunni/and he carved his own extreme brand of sunism |
If you took an audit of ANY Nigeria organization you will find it culpable..even the new dg Jauro his hands are not clean. But what beats my imagination is why this people can't steal and still work at least. Imagine roofs leaking, poorly equipped laboratories and broken canteen and worse of all, no chairs. Just a fraction of the allocation to nimasa would have fixed that. Anyways Akpobolemi is already in court. Hearing the news, will just send his BP racing Corruption has really dealt a blow to us all. I pray to make a change someday. |
