you right, Pls for the case of couple there is only 1 ds160 that can be changed which is the main applicant cause i have tried couple of times there is no way to change the second applicant ds160 which is for the spouse what solution can be done to that. or can it be done at the embassy on the date of appointment please i need response Gracycool: Yes, you can fill out another DS-160 form with the correct information before your interview. Besides, you will still be required to fill out another DS-160 form prior to your interview as the old one will no longer be valid after six months from the submission date. This includes taking a new passport photo for the form. Afterwards, log into the US visa interview scheduling website, click on your profile and change the DS-160 form application ID or number to the one in the newly filled form (This is extremely important because your DS-160 application number must tally with what you have on your profile for your interview). So, I suggest you fill another form as soon as possible as your interview is less than six months away. If in doubt however, you can always call the embassy to clarify. |

for a couple.. which the husband already updated his own ds 60 form, can the wife too do her own too on the appointment DAY. because on the appointment portal you can only change the main applicant not the spouse kindly response Debbieeeeeee: Ds-160 form is free of charge and not for sale, the only thing you pay for is your appointment booking. If you fill out another form make sure you ring the embassy to ask if it can be linked to your appointment because both must tally on the day of the interview. I'll suggest you contact the embassy ask if this can be possible. It'll be better if you fill your form truthfully, that way you don't forget it's content. |

lol i enjoy that part were you son they disturb u lol the guy self they happy ni oo abeg leave am make he flex Oluwanishore: LANDING GIST My ticket was booked for 29th August Got to the airport with my family at about 7:09am. The security at the entrance allowed only three people to enter with us. My husband sha went back outside later to bring my mum and mum-in- law in. Our bags were scanned at the entrance and we were directed to some people by the side of the scanner. Those ones were like ehnn we have liquid in our bags and plenty story started..( money things). We proceeded to Agricultural bla bla stand( those ones collected 5k) I don't know who would travel without food in their bags. From there we joined the queue and we're waiting for Ethiopian airlines to open their stand for checking. That took almost 45 mins. All our bags were below 23kg ( my husband closely monitored the packing). He didn't want to pay extra for excess luggage so we weighed less than 23kg from home believing the scale at the airport would not give correct weight( naija things)..well we were surprised cos our luggages no reach 23kg..e pain me sha cos I left some personal items back home. After clearing our bags and showing necessary docs, we took pics with our parents and left for departure ( it was an emotional moment). After that na immigration checking our traveling docs and asking questions. You go come back? Who dey go for study? Who carry who dey go? We sha boarded around 12:30 pm and took off around 1:30pm. Flight to Addis Ababa was smooth, my son slept most of the time and food was okay. We got to Addis Ababa in the night( not sure about the time) and joined another Ethiopian airline flight going to Toronto. We had a 1hr refueling layover in Dublin but didn't disembark. Then we took off for Toronto. The journey from Addis to Toronto seem like forever. It was longgg and tiring. When we got to Toronto, students with family were directed to a separate room where we did self declaration and also registered the identify of those accompanying us. We then proceeded to the desk of the immigration officer. Mine was a woman and she asked for our passport, introduction letter and a receipt of tuition payment. I didn't make any payment because my school didn't require a deposit and I told her just that. She literally looked me in the face and said' I find it difficult granting you access if you can't show any commitments to your school'. I quickly explained the challenges of paying with Form A to her o and told her I had cash with me to do the payment. She asked me how much I had and how much my tuition for a year is. I gave answers to both questions and she said 'fair enough' then she stood up and printed our permits. From there we went to get our bags because Ethiopian airlines dropped them all at Toronto airport. We had to start searching for our bags and trolley to carry them. We checked them( bags)in again for our flight to St John's. At this point, I was just tired and couldn't wait for the trip to be over. We landed in St John's airport around 4pm on 30th August. The stress and journey was all worth it. I also noticed that everything here is a process and in stages. If you have a guide here, be thankful to God. For those who would be traveling with toddler(s)..may God give you plenty doses of patience. My son showed me pepper. At some point he wanted to carry equal bags as myself and my husband , other times he would just refuse to move his tiny legs, and we had like 5 bags with us( 3 carry ons and two extra) we would beg him in English and threaten him in Yoruba. The boy no send us o. This same human would be calm in the plane o and keep other people engaged and entertained. I Pray the Land of Canada favour us all. To all PPR hopefuls, the Lord will answer all your heartfelt prayers and you shall testify. |

congratulation boss what are the documents submitted Dannypaul2022: My visa has been granted today. I submitted visa application on June 23rd Torrens University Self Sponsored Visa was granted today Sep. 2nd No calls or emails from AHC I had 2 USA Visa refusals and I declared that in my application. I submitted no fake documents whatsoever neither did I lie about anything..
I only observed that they emailed one of the issuers of the Letter of Recommendation I submitted to confirm the authenticity of the letter. I knew this because the person that issued the letter called me before replying AHC. Not more than one hour after they received confirmation email from him.. My visa was granted.

bless Congratulations DUPSYSPARKLE: Hello Everyone as my way of giving back to the thread
I gave birth last month and I’m back in Nigeria. Got in with a Uk visa. I was also able to get an agent from Nigeria who helped me with the process. Her fees were less than what others were charging by half.Giving birth in Mexico is cheap however a lot of these agents charge between $4000 for getting you a hospital and assisting with babies passport and PR and minimum of $2500 for documents alone. These are all exclusive of hospital bills, accommodation, Govt fees for PR etc.
At point of entry wear something big and have your return ticket.
Also there are constraints about getting documents if your spouse is not with you, this is what I experienced, however the agent helped me navigate it and I was able to get my Pr and babies passport however I will advice your spouse be there even if it just to do the documentation process.
Mexico is a good place to give birth and they are very friendly set of people even with the language barrier.
It’s also better to start the process of getting your PR immediately you arrive Mexico cause it’s almost a 1month and a half wait time for appointments. |

congratulation to you enjoy and excel Toceen2022: Hi guys, sorry this is actually coming late. The unimaginable stress at MMIA and trying hard to find my feet here makes it difficult for me to come online and drop my landing gist on time.
LANDING GIST LAGOS - FRANKFURT - VANCOUVER - VICTORIA Airline - Lufthansa / Air Canada Date - August 18th/19th 2022. Time - 11pm.
I never expected the rigorous stress I went through at MMIA. Got to the airport early at 6:45pm for 11pm flight, and went straight to weigh my luggage. I knew beforehand that I have 31 and 33, and 7 for carry-on bag, which I believe I will upgrade to 32, as per Lufthansa said it's possible. But their scale showed 32, 35 & 8kg. That is equally fine, I had no problem upgrading. But the lady who attended to me was just too crazy and started saying rubbish... That my only option is to look for extra bag and make it 3 bags, not exceeding 23kg each and I'll pay for one extra luggage. I never knew another wahala is underway. I bought a bag reshuffle and I got 23, 25, and 18. Luckily another staff told me to make it 32kg (pay for upgrade), 23kg (normal weight) and 12kg (I never knew passangers are entitled to 2 free carry on bags 8kg and 15kg (this can also be checked in). So I later paid to upgrade for the 32kg.
Now, this is where the stress began. Going through documents verification, my QR/Barcode on vaccination card only showed the 2nd Jab and date, the 1st was blank, because of that I was told I won't be allowed to board. (I've been fully vaccinated since Sept last year, and I do checked online myself even few weeks ago I checked, everything was showing perfectly well). I was told to call the number on the card if they can quickly rectify it, or go to the health service kiosk in the airport if anything can be done. That was how the trouble started o. Nobody could helped out, I was there calling the primary health care number on my card, moving from one place to another for over 2-3 hours. Nothing was done. Stressed and exhausted, I gave up, went back to the Lufthansa stand believing I'll have to book for another day, I asked for refund even if it's 70% (at least it's not that I didn't show up at the airport, so I should be entitled for a refund). It was at this point my brother in Ontario sent a screenshot on NPHCD site showing I'm fully vaccinated. I quickly scanned my barcode, still same issue, but on their site, using the personal identification number, it's showing the my full vaccination details. At this point, I reassured myself that Nigeria is truly a failed country. How could NPHCD site show different information on a single identification number. With the stress I went through, I cursed the country. Up till this moment if I scanned the barcode, it only show 1 jab, but if check on the site with the identification number, it shows the 2 jab. I was literally the last person on board. But luckily my window seat was still reserved for me.
I couldn't sleep much from Lagos to Frankfurt because of serious headache. In fact, I didn't enjoy the flight at all because of the stress. But after taking water and snack, I felt better and relaxed. We got to Germany - Frankfurt in the morning, around 6:30 am and from that point till my final destination, no single stress for me. The airport is massive, in fact, na train I take to my next Gate Porte (B-22). Went through security check and seated at the Gate Porte with other passengers going to Vancouver. Connected to the free Wi-Fi and made series of video calls. Our flight was delayed for about 2 hours.
Frankfurt to Vancouver was 10+ hours, so I slept, listened to music, watched a movie (Fatherhood) and before I know it, we are ready to land in Vancouver. I went to the self declaration machine, scanned my passport, all information appeared and printed out a receipt. I actually knew my bags would be sent to my final destination but a security officer said it would be in Vancouver. I waited for almost an hour and went to Lufthansa kiosk, the lady checked my details and said it's already sent to Victoria Airport. I went to immigration, spent about 15 minutes and my study permit was out (they only asked for my passport and LOI).
I missed my flight from Vancouver - Victoria. So, I went to the Air Canada kiosk and the lady issued a new boarding pass immediately without kobo. The flight was a short one, around 25 min, so before we knew it we are already in Victoria. When to pick my bags and everything was intact. CBSA didn't check anything, so everything I carried got to my final destination. Went out of the airport, took a yellow taxi to my airbnb accommodation. I was charged $65. If you know anyone that can pick you up at the airport, it'll be nice and save you some money.
Presently, I've got my SIN, Sim card, School ID and Bus Pass (till April 2023), opened bank account, got a permanent accommodation, booked appointment for BCID (British Columbia Identity Card) and preparing for my knowledge test so as to get my driver's licence asap.
Sincerely, if not for the wahala I went through at MMIA, it would have been a 100% stress-free journey. I couldn't even say goodbye to my people, couldn't snap a single shot with my wife and daughter. That thing still dey vex me till this moment.
Things are truly working here, pedestrian owns the road, not drivers. They must wait for you to walk through. Beautiful locations. Deers, squirrels and animals moving around and crossing the road, they no fear say someone go hunt them down You go see car open mouth, Tesla na like Toyota, you go see one nearly every corner. Many electric cars and products I've never seen or hear before. Infact, it's really good to experience living in a working system.
I wish everyone hoping and waiting a successful outcome. And to those that'll be flying soon, safe travel. Anyone coming to Victoria can reach out and I'll see how I can be of help/assistance. Thank you |

I said, I didn't see that on their web-site. They now said I should pay 14k so that they can fast track the process or I should go and reapply for another capturing date online. I just told they I need to make a "CALL" outside... One of them just told me to go and see the "PCO". The PCO was a nice woman, she just gave them order to attend to me. That was how I did my capturing oOo. Team DIY is working. I was encouraged by people contributions and experience on this platform. God Bless Team DIY. |

lol it is well na so dem dey do Papuzzy: My experience at the immigration office this morning in Abeokuta I got to the office around 12:30pm I met the officers( all female officers) and I told them I’m here to submit my documents because my appointment date for capturing is 30th of august and they said okay I should meet one of the female officers to attend to me ...To cut the story short they told me all the documents I need to present then I brought them out..They said I will need to buy a file, a small envelope and I will have to write an application letter which I did from one of the business centers ( they already have the formats, Just give them your passport) so getting back to the office after printing my application letter , the officer that was attending to me now said I can’t get the 30th of august that was stated on my appointment letter that I will get the middle of September..I was like wow don’t you follow the printout, she said she has the final say that it’s what she write on the file that they will treat ...I was like this is serious ooo... I told her how I was in a rush to get my passport done and she said what do I want her to do for me...Then I told her I want my own appointment date gangan ...That was when she said I should speak the language that she will understand...I already knew where she was helding to but I was still pretending...That was when she openly told me that I have to pay 5k so I can get my date...And she showed me files with 5k each in it ...That was when I had to cooperate too cos if I want to go strong head she will do what she wants to do... Nigeria shall be great someday |
