no interview at all Stephanie22: I submitted my documents on the 26th of August and saw my approval on the 6th of September.
1)I submitted the printed form online that contains your visa application number started with 4 and ending with 2. It is eight digit number. 2)I submitted a questionnaire you can get a copy from the visa office. When i printed it online there was something not complete that those working in the visa office pointed out to me. So you can as well get it from VFS, from those photocopying inside the office. 3)My passport 4)My admission letter into the school 5)My school fees payed in full 6)Education bond of 7000 Euros Electronic transfer for the school fees and Education bond to know the Beneficiary and the sponsor (the person who paid it) 7) Health insurance My educational background starting from my WAEC, Degree, Transcript, NYSC. I covered the gap between the period i finished my NYSC till date. (the company you are using to cover up i think should have a website). 9) Everything about my sponsor a) His Sponsorship letter, b)Employment letter, c)Wife's employment letter( because he has kids just to make them know the kids would be fine) d) Details bank statements (2 including his savings account) e) His Permanent residency permit. because he is based overseas in the United states. d)My statement of account(working in my fathers establishment) e)Details that i am going to take over the company when i come back signed by the MD My Dad f) Internship letter, Internship certificate, work employment letter g)Documents for the house my father bequeathed to me. His Will, deed of gift, deed of acceptance. h) Rejection letters from any country
Then 2 colour photocopies of each
I wish you the best.
In-case i remember anything else, i would add. |

please can you share document submitted and time lime to help others thanks Stephanie22: My visa has been approved. I give glory to God almighty who has done this for me. May his name be praised from generations to generations. My story is a long one, but i wouldn't go that far. This is not the first time i have applied for a visa outside but was denied. I also thank our blessed mother Mary for her powerful intercession and the Angels of the living God for their assistance.
My family for their support, My brothers, My parents. Not forgetting friends who supported me, friends whom i made in this journey. I thank ICaSNg so so much. I can ask questions for Africa , disturbed her but she was always willing to answer me. I specially thank Gladiators 01 , he was my Angel when i needed help the most, it was so difficult to book for an appointment, he booked with his money not minding the fact we had not met. God bless him plenty. Special thanks to DammyDrust ,Slimdolyin, Dweeb5 , Expressbooking and Daniel. To those i didn't mention thank you. God bless everyone who has given help to people in this forum in one way or the other.
For those still waiting for their visa to be approved, grace will speak for you.
Thank you and see you all in Ireland. |

thanks for the advice it really help can i Pm you Sir Portblueholland: I would like to share my experience about SA. First of all for those trying to live there on a visit VISA I will advice you DON'T do it!!! You will be stuck and stranded because it is almost IMPOSSIBLE for you to change your status when you are in the country, they will refer you to go back to your country of origin to get a residence permit. I have been to SA four times 3 times on visit visa and finally the last time on student visa. I didn't really want to study anyway my aim is to go to Europe since my wife is European and the fact that I have been denied several times by European embassies in Nigeria (Germany Sweden 2x and Greece).
The first time I went there my mind was blown away immediately! This country is one of the BEST place to ever live. I have been living in Europe for the past 4 years and SA especially Western Cape is better than many European countries especially Eastern European countries. You can get decent accommodation in a nice neighbourhood for around $500-$600 per month. I used to live around the city center and its a bus ride from my school CPUT. The roads are clean and neat (European standard) and there is a-lot of activities to do there. You can also actually work and earn a good salary provided you have the required experience and degree because most South African companies prefer to hire foreigners than South African citizens. South African citizens usually depend on the government for assistance and they do get paid monthly even when they are not working.
I met the man who connected me to my school here on Nairaland. He had links to the school as he had previously studied there and he helped me pay for my insurance and also secured my accommodation. My application was approved at the Abuja embassy after only 7 days. I included the basic requirements like bank statement insurance etc and the application was very straight forward. I was issued a 2 years visa and I only spent five months in SA before migrating to Europe. If you want to migrate elsewhere (America Canada Australia etc) and you are having issues getting a visa or permit in Nigeria, then SA is your best route. They don't travel much and the embassies over there do not get work overload or cases of visa fraud.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in SA and we visited twice since we moved here. Amazing country and amazing people. I am actually planning to either migrate back there or Dubai next year once I am through with my citizenship application. . Peace! |

what school is easy to get admitted in and easy visa process for Holland Portblueholland: No! Not in Holland. I've lived here for several years and there's a big difference between the Netherlands and Paris. Paris is slowly becoming thirdworld with dirty streets and beggars everywhere and their train stations are very unkept, you can easily get mugged too. Its relatively very different in Holland. We have very strict rules and you'll hardly see dirt on the road plus there is NO pickpokets because of police presense everywhere. |

thanks tataiwo09: You don't need appointments. So far they have outsourced it for VFS and VFS wants to make profit by all means. They don't mind number of applicants.
Aside, you can't compare traffic of SA with some European countries which they use appointments to attend to people. |

oh really that Cool Nelse: Definately, you can be self sponsored. I am self sponsoring for my own application. I will be going for a one year study, so I paid full one year tuition and presented my personal account with the required one year expenses. But in a situation where u are going for a 2 to 3 year course, u have to show believable means of paying subsequent fees while u are in Ireland after u must have paid or presented first years total fees. |

can someone sponsor self?? Nelse: For sponsors circumstances, is all about the financial background and responsibilities of your sponsor. What is he or she doing and how much is making, what are his/her responsibilities like having a family, how many children he has. All these details give info on whether your sponsor is capable or not. |
