If you use the filter as I posited above, you can always find a couple of hotels or apartments that are free of charge even on Airbnb.

Before settling for one hotel in Istanbul a couple of days ago, I reserved 4 different hotels with Pay later option. I only cancelled more than 2 weeks after our choices have been made

There are over 100 filters on Booking.com and Hotel.com

Just select Hotel with free cancellation.

Mostly a night's money has to be withheld, whether you pick the no prepayment option or not, noticed this with the UK and France hotels already in the past few weeks.

It's no longer a news that GCMS note now takes 90days to be delivered. This is as a result of the huge request/demand been placed for it by prospective applicants.

Applicants that can't wait for their notes to arrive in three (3) months time, can work with the generic reasons that were highlighted on the refusal letter and demonstrate how their current situation has substantively changed.

It will end in praises.

Hello beautiful people, I have come back as our tradition here to share your timelines and supporting documents to help others. I collected our passports with visas yesterday and below is the timeline.
October 14th Biometrics and Submission via paper route
November 13th BVL email dropped
November 22nd passport pick up mail
The whole process took 40 days in my own case.

Documents submitted
Previous travel history to London, U.S, Ghana and Dubai
Business registration documents
Tax card
Business card
Marriage certificate
Kids birth certificates
Kids school receipts and results
Documents of our house and other properties
Particulars of our vehicles
Flight itinerary to Canada
Hotel reservation
Tourist packages of places to visit (paid)
Bank statements for 6 months
Previous flight itinerary to the countries visited
Previous hotel invoices for countries visited
I couldn't submit pictures because they don't allow this in paper applications
Introduction and leave letters.

Your chances are very high. I submited 7th, was alerted 18th, picked up a month visa yesterday 21st. No previous travel record- virgin passport. Thank you Jesus.

I was wondering when you said can you go to Europe before going to Turkey?
Turkey is in Europe like England, Germany Netherlands etc

You can visit any other country in the world and can even decide not to sleep in Turkey throughout your travel period. But, you must have a valid Schengen or US , Canada or UK visa in order for you to apply.

I applied with my family last week Thursday and we were issued E visa within 20 mins respectively. $40 per person. 3 of us applied

Europe is not a place or a country. It's a continent like Africa. Just as in African continent you have countries like Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa etc in Europe you have France, Germany, Malta, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia. So, Turkey is a country in Europe

1. Just as Emirates Airline does when you're applying for 48 hours and 96 hours visa, compelling you to present evidence of ticket purchase, Turkish Airline does same thing. Confirmed Turkish Airline ticket is required.

2. E visa means electronic visa. visa sent by (Email) Electronic Mail, to be presented at the POE, where your passport is then stamped for entry

I think their meaning of frequent flyer is visit to shenghen country twice in the last 3 years, visits to US Canada and I think UK(not sure of UK tho)

I submitted mine on Tuesday and just yesterday they said my passport is ready for collection. Tho I walked in as a frequent traveler but I am worried that it is taking just 4days. And I am afraid make them no deny me. Pls I will appreciate if you answer my questions to allay my fears. Thanks

Depends on your refusal dont just waste 5pounds for nothing if the reason is not genuine example this is ppl are wise .....when u transfer big amount of money inside account without explanation and u are sending complaints

Okay, I got the visa-multiple. It took about 4/5 working days. Submitted on Tuesday 5th November. Received a message that passport is ready for collection yesterday Tuesday,12th November.

Hello guys. In October, was refused a visit visa. But I was not satisfied by the decision as I felt I had a strong application and that the officer did not coheck all 50 documents I provided. I planned to reapply this month.

Although I had no rights of appeal, i did send them a complaint detailing how I believe my application was not properly checked.
At first, they replied to me that they were not the correct channel for complaints.
I didn't have their time since and about 15 days later, which is today, I mailed them again demanding for an explanation / review of the presiding officer's judgement on my visa.

7 hours later, they mailed me that ''my visa decision has been overturned and that I should submit my passport for the new decision ''Please note that your visa decision has been overturned.

Please submit your passport to the Visa Application Centre with a copy of this e-mail.

Once we have confirmation that the passports have been received, we will send out a new decision to be endorsed on your passport.''

Has anyone ever experienced an overturn of refusal decision? Does that mean my visa will now be granted?

I am going to submit my passport tomorrow to them.
