Apparently, his doctors needed more time to take more tests and give him a clean bill of health. To not cause murmur and uproar for just staying back, the presidency was quick to tag it a vacation.

Why would they tell us the president is on vacation only after he has gotten to his vacation spot? With the myriad of problems in Nigeria, does it not make sense to tell us weeks beforehand. Even, in the US where presidents are used to having annual vacations, the populace know before hand.
