Lalasticlala this piece is a good one for a sunday.

Read through and you will see that it does not in anyway attack any religion but very objective and insightful.
He is myopic in his reasoning what if he dies and realises Allah is god, the Muslims were right, and that his believing of Jesus as god was blasphemous.

Good evening.

I wonder, as you posted what you wrote above....whether you felt cool as you did.

I myself read the whole piece....even though it has been some time since I graduated from university, and yes....I wish I had known all thins stuff before hand.

Instead of felling smug and superior to the OP.....why don't you guys sit down, read the stuff he or she put up,and think about how you can apply it to your life. You may not be reading medicine like some of us.....but you may find the advice useful.Especially the bit about not giving up.....even when the GPA is 0.43 after year one.(Advice a relative of my mum took after getting dismissed from university....he came back, graduated well....and now makes big money in the oil Industry).

Stop laughing at good advice. You never know what you are missing.

The other day....someone gave me advice on bringing up children....even though I am a single male.I appreciated his advice.Better learn to appreciate good advice.
Bro chillax I read the post, was just joking, and no am not an un-serious dude check my previous posts to cross check if you like.

What can you produce? Nothing. You Nigerians simply don't have the intelligence to produce anything. So chillax.
Wrong there are things we can produce, there are a lot of people with relevant innovative abilities that have not been giving attention, now without oil they will get the needed attention they require.

very well said. all the foreign vultures will depart, we will get our country back, no more free money floating around anymore and now only the hardworking and innovative will prosper. no more champagne lifestyle just because you happened to be born into a family of looters stealing our oil. the wealth created now will be well earned. we will return to the days when a rich man was an innovative man who contributed to the society for his wealth to be achieved. i think we will be great again but this transition period will be painful at first but once we get over that pain, we will go back to the days of yore when prestige and dignity was earned and not given
well said, people around me think i don't what I'm saying when I say 'the oil boom was a period of retrogression for us', as it rewarded lazy, violent and corrupt people who swiftly ceased the top notch and powerful positions around quickly and instituted nepotism, so only their families and friends benefited from the system.
But now to earn a dollar you must give people something much more valuable and not less in return, but this is not the case now as only the innovative and enterprising people will be the elites of the country like you said, our federal and state institutions will get the attention they deserve as no more free money to waste on foreign institutions, this economic hardship befalling us and the war against corruption and fraudulent activities will see our women also become enterprising and stop being pleasure fulfillers as no more free money to trow at them.
Like you said hard times are upon us but they will also see the intelligent and innovative people attain positions and control key organizations they are meant to.
I understand fully well that all I am doing could be likened to tautology, but I have always been of the opinion that when someone writes a well meaning and well worded post to me, in this age of word and sentence abbreviations, the least I can do is write back.

but you know, this fall in gas price to like 25 dollars a barrel is a blessing in disguise. they say nigeria produces 3 million barrels a day so meaning the whole country of 180 million people only makes about 80 million dollars a day. now you have to know all these lebanese and indians are vultures who have come to feed on the carcass of the dead. when oil was 140 dollars a barrel all these foreign vultures descended on nigeria. now that oil is going out of style watch all these lebanese and chinese start slowly trickling back and returning to their own country because there is no more money in nigeria. so it is a blessing in disguise. any opinions on this post is welcome
your head dey their, I can't wait till those dudes leave and we start producing real valuable products to sell abroad, I tell you this crude oil crash is a blessing in disguise.

Really, twice the size of lagos? Check it very well, Ogun state is three times the size of lagos and the second largest state in South West after Oyo state.
And mind you, Oyo state is the largest state in the South in terms of land mass.
. dude Oyo is bigger than the whole south east, that state is frigging big, on average southwest has a lot of land and this is one of the reason why other southerners most especially south easterner come here, every one knows they especially, come here because of land space (i.e their region is overpopulated) and slightly lagging infrastructure," but yeah Oyo is frigging big"
