Anybody has Cutix?

Windywendy - your thoughts are current price?

This na stock for CICO Marshalls. With a forward PE of over 75, it is not for the lily-livered.

I think the stock will ride back on another bullish market run sha after the lull of the last 2 weeks.

Analysis paralysis again grin grin grin grin grin grin i wan make he shed blood small. I put this one in the same class as Dunlop and ABC. Good for medium term and a risky CICO. They are all turn-around stories

With 1.6B shares outstanding and projected PAT of 500M, this looks a bit expensive with a projected PE of 38.

Another C&I Leasing?

There was a PP specially for truebond to accommodate 1.18B shares corresponding to their 62% stake in addition to the existing shares already listed

BTW, based on 1.7B shares outstanding and 500M PAT projected for this year, the forward PE will be around 40.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by pumping777(m): 7:00pm On Mar 04, 2008
Abeg, una go teach me how una arrive at this 1.6B/1.7B shares for Niwicable.

I thought they had 0.42B shares before and this will be equivalent to 38% of what is listed now since Truebond will now have 62%. Oya, e la mi lo ye (sorry for my ngbti Yoruba)
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by pumping777(m): 5:43pm On Mar 04, 2008
@Windywendy - Based on the restructuring at Niwicable as described below, I came up with 1.1B shares that will be oustanding. Is this any way near what you have?

-------
So when we finish the exercise of restructuring, the shareholding structure will be Truebond, 62 percent equity, Odua Investment, 15 percent and the remaining 23 percent will be held by15,640 Nigerians

@ Pumping777, upward, Mr. Risky, RoughCut, yodiyokun, Easimoni, Wanaj0, W. Wendy, Aktopgun (MIA) and other gurus and guguru's

Hey guys I need your help here, I am undecided on what to buy. I have tons of cash with my broker for more than 2 weeks now, but still don’t know what to buy.

I guess it’s my newly acquired knowledge that is disturbing me, previously to my new knowledge on Nairaland I just jump into stocks without reading fundamentals or do any technical analysis; I just enter into stocks based on my own personal sentiments.
I was the one that bought Afroil and Capoil (based on the fact that the names carries OIL) I was able to made more than 3000% each on the stocks.

Nowadays I have to check and double check before I make a move; I guess ignorance sometimes do have its positive side.

Here under are the stocks I am contemplating to enter;
Livestock,
Tourist and Co,
G. Cappa
These are the one I was planning to increase my takes in;
Unic,
Union Homes,
Dunlop

So gurus (my teachers) and guguru’s (my class mates) what is your opinion on this my dilemma

Livestock, - No. I think profit takers will hit around N10
Tourist and Co, - Did you hear something? They are not performing abi na low nominal price u wan go for?
G. Cappa  - Yes, if you can get.

These are the one I was planning to increase my takes in;

Unic, Yes, the price has dropped to an attractive level. If the price drops continue more openings will come in this sector.
Union Homes, - No. Can't think of a good reason for entering now. Full year results may not be out till August.
Dunlop - No idea about this one. It appears fairly priced now if they can meet up with projected earnings based on the last PO. I don't think this is the time to join the train.

Overall I think you should wait another couple of days to see the direction this market is going. Some stocks are taking a very hard hit. You want to be picking these stocks up as low a price as possible.

Also, don't over analyze or you end up buying nothing.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by pumping777(m): 4:34pm On Mar 04, 2008
upward:

and it has started dropping again. What about entering when it bottoms out, waht do you think?

Well, I think the anticipated good results for Q-3 has already been factored into the price now. Most folks may offload before the result comes out and after the results, there may be depression. It is still possible then to position for the Full Year which ends in March. The only problem is that this may not be out till October although there may be movement again from inside knowledge.

Mr. Risky:

@Pumping777 / @ Yodi

What exactly is pushing AG Leventis, is it the fact that the result will be out this March or because of the Cummins connection? That stock has exhibited so much energy lately. Am I regretting? The largest loot I will be making on NSE ever, but for now it is still on paper, though, any misstep now I will be the first to use my parachute. Don't think I am interested in 11k DIFIDENT grin grin grin grin grin grin as my people would say. Yodi can you hold brief for WindyWendy on this?

I have commented on my observation on how AG Leventis and some other stocks that tend to move this way.

Expect the push to be based on insider information of the results or any goodies to come with it. Remember that the year already ended in December.

Also watch the behaviour of Beta Glass and Avon Crown Corks.

Pumping,
make I answer this one ( I hope easimoni no go vex). The offer was done after but the rule is 25% of OVERSUBSCRIPTION and not 25% of offer.

Thanks. You mean the rule allows you to take 25% of the excess? This does not look right because it will be easy to manipulate this. I thought it is 25% of the original offer?

We should all position for the likely cause and effect of Universal Insurance approaching the N5 mark.  lipsrsealed

This is what I meant yesterday although I had my eyes on N5. Everyone knows Universal insurance is not in the same league as many of the established insurance companies so there must be resistance if the price tries to reach the same level.

This could provide the opportunity to enter at a lower price.

Caveat & Emptor.
